1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Frame Off Restoration

I purchased this from my Grandmother in the mid 70's. It had 37000 miles on it. I put it in storage in 1999. Took it out of storage and restored it in 2010. It was originaly a 194 cid six cyl, 2 speed automatic. There is about 2000 miles on restoration. Odometer reads 96762. Miles I had a 327 with camel hump heads and a 350 Turbo Hydromatic 3 speed tranny. Both have been rebuilt. The interior has been redone as well. CHASSI: New rubber body bushings, "A" frame and differential bushings. Upper and lower ball joints, (steering links had been replaced prior). New springs front and rear, supply and return fuel lines. I wire wheeled the frame painted it with etching primer and gloss black chassi paint. BODY: Floor pans are solid, I did have to replace the trunk pan. New front and rear bumpers. New weather striping kit including, rubber bumpers, paint gaskets and window felts through out (except the wing windows). New windshield, resealed rear window. ENGINE: 1965 Stamped "T053HC" bored out .030 over, Small journal crank and rod bearings. Crankshaft has been machined .010. Rebuilt for unleaded gasoline Camel Hump heads #3782461 are 194's with 62cc chambers. Cam shaft is OLD SCHOOL solid lifters 327/365hp was what was used in the 67 Corvette. Roller Rocker arms. This engine has a new Edelbrok Torker II intake with an Accell throtell body fuel injection. MSD high energy Distributor. Champion 3 core aluminum radiator, electric cooling fan with shroud. Hooker headers with 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. Transmission has a new converter and shift kit. INTERIOR: New Head liner, seat upholstery, Dash pad & carpet. I repainted the dash and instrument cluster the original colors. Installed a tachometer where the clock was. THINGS I DID NOT DO: Differential is original, original drum brake system and the power steering gear box is original. Everything works well. There is about 2000 miles on restoration. Local pick up only Ufortunately I am selling my 1969 Chevelle Malibu. I've been restoring it for about 2 years now, but I need to sell it. I have $15,000.00 into it so far, but will sacrifice for $13,000.00 OBO . This was a full fram off restoration. It has, new front and rear suspension the frame and suspension have been powder coated new brake lines new fuel lines new e-brake cables new axles and re built rear diff new wheels and tires new body mounts new rear quarter panels new rear inner wheel houses new trunk pan new front inner and outer cowel shoulders I have new door skins that haven't been installed yet The only thing missing from the car is the hood and both fenders. They were junk and haven't been replaced yet. I have a 350 engine that goes with it. This is a great solid car that needs to be finished.

Look at this beautiful classic just waiting for a restoration. Up for sale is a beautiful 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu with a solid frame and chassis. This car is the perfect candidate for a first time buyer looking for a restoration project. This car runs and drives with no issues, though the brakes are a bit spongy. She fires right up and has no issues driving down the road. The paint is about a 5/10 and it could be repainted. It does have some blemishes and a few cracks in the paint but overall the body is in great shape for a car that is forty-five years old. The tires hold air but are beginning to crack. The SS wheels are in good shape. The motor runs well. Electric driven fan. Has a new carb. Has a torker intake manifold and cam. Car has Power steering. No A/c Car come with a new battery and starter (not installed). Clutch doesn't slip and transmission doesn't grind. The interior of the car is currently removed besides the dash and front seats. The gauge cluster works. The interior was removed in order to install the new interior that will come with the car. A new in the box Tamraz's interior kit in pearl white. It is missing the rear seat frame, carpet and headliner. The new upholstery kit does comes with the front and rear seat covers. Overall the glass is in pretty good shape aside from a crack in the front windshield. The floor pan is in great shape with no rust and the same for the trunk, where there is no rust at all. There is minor rust on the rear deck lid but the car comes with an additional trunk that needs to be painted. The car has very minimal rust, the only significant spot is the left rear quarter and the car comes with new replacement panels. Unique to this car, it comes with the original owners manual and a stack of receipts of work and parts purchased dating back to the 1990's and well as photos of the car when it was brand new. This vehicle was my Grand Mothers car, I purchased it from her in the mid 70's. 3 years ago I decided to restore it. I will try to list everything I did to it.The speedometer reads 96000 miles. There is 1500 on restoration. chassis:Bushings, ball joints, springs, fuel lines, strip,prime and chassis paint. Trunk pan had small rust holes in it so I replaced it. The floor pans are solid as a rock! Drive train:1965, 327 Cubic Inch Displacement, machined .030 over, crank shaft is .010 over. Cam shaft is the 30-30 solid lifter used in the 327/375hp 1965 Corvette engine. accel throttle body fuel injection.Edelbrock Torker II, open plenum manifold.Heads are Camel-Hump 194 with 62cc combustion chamber. Radiator is a 3 core aluminum. Transmission is a rebuilt 350 turbo hydromatic with a upgraded shift kit and tourqe converter. Body:Striped to bare metal, body and paint done by local restoration shop. New weather strip kit. New front and rear bumpers. Interior:Head liner, windshield, dash pad, upholstery, carpet. Things I did not do: upgrade to disc brakes.upgrade to posi traction differential.upgrade to a tighter ratio steering box.
