1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Overview: This vehicle underwent a full 2.5 year restoration, completed in 2013. All gaps on this car are perfect, and the paint is immaculate. The rear marker lights were deleted, the front and rear bumpers were tucked in for a smoother look. The front and rear bumpers along with all trim were sent to Ogden Chrome where they were nickle brushed. The paint scheme was completed in Mercedes black and silver and accented with the popular Chevrolet Victory Red. All new glass was installed, new headlights and front marker lights, and the original tail lights were reinstalled with LED upgrade. Drive train: This Chevelle has a 6.2 L L92 with LS3 Intake, Competition Cam and package from Texas Speed Cam/Lifter/Rockers. It also has Corvette LS3 engine accessories, custom made valve covers, Vintage Air 5 AC system, Ron Davis Radiator, Jeep Cherokee power steering, Spear tech modified harness, Edelbrock complete exhaust system featuring full length headers. It has a Borg Warner T56-6 speed transmission, LS7 Clutch/Flywheel, and a Hurst shifter. . The car has Chevelle 12 bolt rear with 3.73 True Track rear end and brand new Moser axles. It has been tuned and dyno tuned at Speed Sports at 410 rear wheel horsepower. Wheels and Suspension: This Chevelle has Rushforth Whiplash wheels, 19x8 front, 20x10 rears with Nitto tires, 255/40/19 in front and 295/35/20 in rear. It has Kore3 brake components comprised of C5 Corvette brakes and Wilwood master cylinder, pads and rotors. In addition the car also has Savitski Classic and Custom Pro Touring Suspension Stage 2-plus kit, Bilstein shocks, performance springs, Hellwig sway bar, adjustable front upper A-arms and an all new front end. Exterior: This car has all of the original metal except an aftermarket cowl hood. Rust free 1971 original fenders from an Arizona parts car were used to eliminate front marker lights and rear marker lights. Extensive body work was done by Drew Brothers Customs in Arizona to make sure every gap is perfect. Digi-Tails front and rear LED marker lights, front and rear bumpers are nickle brushed. All of the chrome has a stainless look and all the glass was replaced and tinted 20% which makes this Chevelle one of a kind. . Fuel System: This Chevelle has a Ricks Stainless Tank with a 255LPH in tank pump good for 700 H.P. Interior: The car has full leather interior, Dodge Viper front seats, custom rear seat, custom door panels, a new headliner, new Route 66 dash with auto meter gauges, new carpet and a Momo steering wheel. Stereo: The stereo in this car sounds AMAZING!! It consists of an Alpine head unit, Rockford Fosgate system entailing 2 12" subwoofers, 2 6x9' rear deck speakers, and 2 kick panel speakers. 1966 Chevelle Malibu with SS Hood and Big Block 454. Engine runs very strong and starts easy. New Holley Street Avenger Carb with Edlebrock aluminum intake. Headman headers and new exhaust and mufflers. 400 Turbo automatic transmission with 10 bolt posi 373 rear end. Hurst shifter. NEW Front upper and lower tubular control arms with 2" drop spindles. Disc front brakes and new CPP master cylinder. Rear tires are new 275/60/15. Centerline aluminum polished wheels. Aluminum radiator with electric fan on thermostat. All the following items DO WORK : headlights, high beams, turn signals, dome light and trunk deck interior light, tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure and water temp. There is rust in the Qtrs and lower fenders. Floors and trunk floor have been patched but not professionally done. The front end needs an alignment and there are clearance issues resulting from the lowering springs and 2" drop. Can't drive for a long distance with these issues right now. This car will only be listed on ebay ONCE, so don't twiddle your thumbs if you're truly serious about this car. NOTE 2: I have a video of this car, but am apparently not clever enough to navigate ebay's endless byzantine rules and regulations for this would-be simple function, so email for details. This is an unmolested, unbutchered, 1971 Chevelle with Super Sport trim in gorgeous, show quality condition. For those not as familiar with these cars, it is NOT a true SS, but an extremely nice and accurately portrayed tribute. It's an original Georgia car its whole life until 2015, with all original sheet metal, including quarters, floors, & trunk. Only metal work done was a 3x4" properly welded patch behind passenger rear wheel. Body and paint (Cranberry Red/black stripes) are nearly flawless, with a mile-deep finish and NO RUST. New SS steel cowl hood, SS wheels, SS grille, SS emblems, and correct polished stainless tips complete the look. Flowmaster dual exhaust & Goodyear RWL tires let it rock and roll. Excellent glass, trim, and nice chrome all around. Windows all roll up and down and seal perfectly (well, as perfect as 1971 quality standards would allow!) Powered by a nicely detailed small block with 4bbl, TH350 that shifts perfect, and 10-bolt rear end. We installed a new AC compressor on it, and the AC functions properly (it may need one more can of freon as we didn't have gauges to measure when it was full). It also has power steering and drum brakes. Original tan interior is nearly flawless, with excellent dash, seats, carpet, and SS door panels. Everything inside works, including the horn, all lights, wipers, signals, and even the original AM radio, key buzzer, and dome light! The headliner has 3 pencil-eraser-size holes in it, but is otherwise in great shape and doesn't need replacing. It is obvious this car has led a very good, protected, and well maintained life. This car comes with its original owner's manual, Protect-O-Plate, and dealer sales invoice showing all options and price. This Chevelle runs and drives just as good as it looks, and needs nothing. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere at the drop of a hat. It is in EXCELLENT condition and is ready to drive and show off at car shows and cruise nights. Would make a great birthday, anniversary, graduation, or holiday gift for that special guy or gal in your life. Go shop around and see what kind of butchered Chevelle crap $15k will buy before making your judgments about this car or its price. You will not be disappointed.
