I am the original owner of this 2001 Volkswagen Cabrio. 71696 mileage but that will go up since I am still driving the car. It won't go up much because I don't drive much and it generally stays in the garage. Everything works well... heat, ac, convertible top, windows, radio, windshield wipers. I just got a new battery, 2 new tires, front rotors and brake pads, and new windshield wipers. It was just at Firestone where they checked it out. The only other thing they saw that I have not fixed is the front hood support needs new shocks or struts. There are minor dings and scratches as might be expected in a 15 year old car but it looks beautiful. See photos. There is piece of plastic missing off the rear console. The leather has minor dings and scratches but looks good. The interior is leather with seated heats. It has cruise control. I have the hood cover in the garage. It's smoke free. I added an after market cupholder that you can see in the pictures. It flips up or down as needed. It has a Sirius Satellite set up that would need activation. $500 Paypal Deposit is required. Full cash payment is due before releasing the car and title. It's very fun to drive. I love having the top down! People ooh and ahh over the car everywhere I go:)

This is a 2002 Volkswagen Cabrio. It has 79500 original miles and is in excellent condition! No Accidents! Loaded with: Automatic Trans. , Leather Interior, Seat Warmers, Power Windows & Door Locks, and Power Top. The interior is perfect except for one rip in the driver's seat (shown in picture) that can be easily repaired. The body has some dents and dings, as can be seen in the pictures, but is all original (I chose to leave it that way, instead of painting it to show the car has had no accidents) The car Runs Great with newer tires and brakes. I love this car and purchased it with the intention of restoring it to its luster - which I did! However, we just purchased two new cars/trucks and we just don't have room for this car. 99 VW Cabrio for sale. Great car I have owned for 5 years. Tornado red color, black top, black leather interior. Top- Great condition. No rips or tears. Comes with leather cover for when the top is down. I have it set to manual open since I noticed the fluid becoming low. This way is much faster than automatic. Paint- Tornado red color. Some rust on back (trunk) and the front wheel wells. Still get compliments on the great condition. Mechanics- Cluster was replaced about two years ago. New spark plugs, wires and distributor cap this year. Transmission/clutch- Clutch is riding high, was recommended that it be replaced. Love, Love this car but it is time to move onto something for family friendly.

2002 Vw Cabrio, runs great,automatic, new exhaust from cat back, new right drive axle. Paint shiny with a few nicks and rust spots. Top is in good condition, faded but no rips or tears. Interior, driver seat is worn and Tried to figure why passenger door wont open, (cut a hole in door). Tires fairly new, new hubcaps.New headlights. 2002 VW Cabrio ConvertibleThis is a FUN car! In very good shape for its age. No known major mechanical defects. Only minor scratches and/or nicks. Also, the driver's side front power window does not roll down. The interior has some wear. Leather on Driver's seat and back seat behind driver's seat needs some patching. The plastic tray on the bottom side of the passenger seat is broken. Not sure if it can be glued or not. (see photos) We tried to capture any issues in the photos. We have not attempted to repair any of the interior. The interior was in the condition it is now when we purchased the car. We used seat covers on all of the seats.We purchased this vehicle in 2009 and have only put about 2500 miles on it in the last six years. It was only used in the summer. There is NO RUST on this car! As stated, it's a solid little tank of a car, but it needs work. The A/C doesn't work and you have to manually open the top, it won't do it automatically (it didn't when I bought it a few years ago either). I think it might be a good vehicle for someone who is good with them from a mechanical standpoint. Or maybe someone who wants to use it for parts. I've got all the paperwork and the title is clear. This car was purchased last February as a fixer-upper. Since then a new top was installed, timing belt replaced on engine, new bushings on driver's seat track along with a few other small items being repaired. The only major repair needed was the driver's side rear quarter panel and the reverse gear. After a small accident damaging the passenger side front bumber, the insurance company totaled the vehicle, which is why it now has a salvage title. So, this is a parts car, with many good parts. The engine runs great, just had a timing belt, idler and tensioner installed. The transmission needs repair, reverse is out. The interior is decent, seats are black leather, heated. All window motors work. The top is 3 months old and can be removed as an assembly. The convertible top needed a new hydraulic cylinder, that part was purchased but not installed, included with the car. It has the factory radio with cd changer in trunk, in working condition. I have the original owner's manual with the unlock code for the radio. The tires are decent, the car has aftermarket wheels. There is only one key, no key fobs, and just recently the cylinder on the driver's door popped loose. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. I've been a VW enthusiast for the last 30 years, this is a decent car and has about $2500 worth of parts if you wanted to take the time to part it out. It would also be a good candidate to repair and get a rebuilt title. It's currently garaged and will stay that way till I sell it. I have the title in hand, but again, its been flagged as salvage. I'll give it a few weeks to sell, if not I will begin parting it out. If I get enough inquiries about parts I may start parting it out sooner than later.
