1989 Volkswagen ( VW ) Cabriolet 1989 Volkswagen ( VW ) Cabriolet You will have so much fun with this car :) Up for auction is a very nice 5 speed VW Cabriolet. This car has been very well taken care of. Has been garaged all of the time that I have owned it. Original top is in great shape with only a couple of small blemishes - No Leaks! Runs and drives great! - Just spent over $900 replacing both front wheel bearings, alignment and a complete tune up with oxy sensor. Modifications: Weitec progressive rate sport springs (lowers the car about 1 -1 1/2 inches) Tokico Illumina adjustable struts and shocks Neuspeed big mouth throttle body Panasonic AM/FM/CD deck Detractors (remember it is a 25 year old car) Dings and chips in the paint Minor engine oil leak AC not working Tach not working Cruise control disconnected (not compatible with the Neuspeed throttle body) Rear seats marred by velcro (from a previous owner who did not know how to properly install the top boot) Original springs will be supplied with the car.
