I am selling my automatic 1992 Volkswagen Cabriolet (digifant). Here are some specs and please let me know if you are interested. Serious inquiries only. The Good: - Green Pearl Metallic LC6V - 2.0 rebuilt engine (3A block from an Audi 80)- rebuilt at 145K miles, so like new! Engine rebuilt with new piston rings, bearings, oil pump, timing belt, accelerator cable, PCV value, and temp sensor. Cylinder head rebuilt with new valve springs and valve seals. Transmission rebuilt with new clutches and seals, pistons, and piston seals. - 155K miles - Registered in CA and AZ (past last emissions test in AZ in July 2014) - Lowered suspension- body is 5 inch from ground - Skid plate welded to oil pan - Recently replaced coolant hose, battery, ECU, and lights (Sylvania) - Konig 15 inch rims - Vinyl top is in great shape- there is a tear in the interior (I don't have the boot bag)- top doesn't engage in the lock on one side - Black Recaro driver and passenger seats (I have both originals too) - No rust, no leaks - Perfectly intact exterior trim- rare! - No problems with electrical system- alt works fine - Smoke taillights, but not painted whatsoever(I also have the stock OEM lights) - Upgraded 3.5 bar Bosch fuel pressure regulator - A cover comes w/ the car - Remote start system - Perfect Carfax record (never been in an accident) - Haynes and Bentley service manuals - New O2 sensor - New oil pan gasket and new oil and filter - I have the old starter for parts (electrically OK, but not mechanically) - Muffler replaced in 2010 - Radiator replaced in 2009 - R12 AC - Sony Xplode radio and speakers - Professionally tinted rear windows The Bad: - Suspension- Needs new shocks and struts - Needs new breaks and pads - The gas cap lock is broken

2002 Vw Cabrio, runs great,automatic, new exhaust from cat back, new right drive axle. Paint shiny with a few nicks and rust spots. Top is in good condition, faded but no rips or tears. Interior, driver seat is worn and Tried to figure why passenger door wont open, (cut a hole in door). Tires fairly new, new hubcaps.New headlights. Has normal check engine light and ABS lights on, doesnt affect operation. Selling cheap so buyer has money to finish small repairs if needed.

2002 VW Cabrio ConvertibleThis is a FUN car! In very good shape for its age. No known major mechanical defects. Only minor scratches and/or nicks. Also, the driver's side front power window does not roll down. The interior has some wear. Leather on Driver's seat and back seat behind driver's seat needs some patching. The plastic tray on the bottom side of the passenger seat is broken. Not sure if it can be glued or not. (see photos) We tried to capture any issues in the photos. We have not attempted to repair any of the interior. The interior was in the condition it is now when we purchased the car. We used seat covers on all of the seats.We purchased this vehicle in 2009 and have only put about 2500 miles on it in the last six years. It was only used in the summer. There is NO RUST on this car! It has been garage stored every winter. Please send a note if you're interested in looking at the car or test driving before you bid. We do not offer any type of warranty. This car was purchased last February as a fixer-upper. Since then a new top was installed, timing belt replaced on engine, new bushings on driver's seat track along with a few other small items being repaired. The only major repair needed was the driver's side rear quarter panel and the reverse gear. After a small accident damaging the passenger side front bumber, the insurance company totaled the vehicle, which is why it now has a salvage title. So, this is a parts car, with many good parts. The engine runs great, just had a timing belt, idler and tensioner installed. The transmission needs repair, reverse is out. The interior is decent, seats are black leather, heated. All window motors work. The top is 3 months old and can be removed as an assembly. The convertible top needed a new hydraulic cylinder, that part was purchased but not installed, included with the car. It has the factory radio with cd changer in trunk, in working condition. I have the original owner's manual with the unlock code for the radio. The tires are decent, the car has aftermarket wheels. There is only one key, no key fobs, and just recently the cylinder on the driver's door popped loose. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. I've been a VW enthusiast for the last 30 years, this is a decent car and has about $2500 worth of parts if you wanted to take the time to part it out. It would also be a good candidate to repair and get a rebuilt title. It's currently garaged and will stay that way till I sell it. I have the title in hand, but again, its been flagged as salvage. I'll give it a few weeks to sell, if not I will begin parting it out. If I get enough inquiries about parts I may start parting it out sooner than later.
