Up for sale is a very nice 1998 Black Volkswagen Cabrio 2-Door Convertible. New paint, new clutch, new battery, recent tune-up, recent compression test on engine, new exhaust, new transmission, new convertible top motor. There is a small tear on the convertible top (see photos), nothing major. Also, have original factory 17" stock wheels (if buyer prefers them). Great car for the sunny ride to the shore or beach with the top down. If will be tough to find another one that looks this nice. Contact me for a showing. Serious buyers only please.

Looking to sell my 1999 Volkswagen Cabrio Convertable. $600 Or best offer! Located in Glastonbury CT - send me a message and come take a look!It runs! But I'm mainly selling it "as is"as a parts car, since it has some body damage and a wiring issue. But it could easily be fixed up and be a great Summer vehicle. (great on gas too!)Great parts car for similar year Volkswagen projects! (parts are compatible with similar year Volkswagen models) I'm selling it because it has an issue with the wiring getting wet when it rains (sometimes doesn't start in the rain) Pros:-Engine & Transmission are solid (never had an issue in 139,000 miles, these 4 cylinder engines stand the test of time, we had a 98 Jetta with over 300,000 miles that still ran great!) -Has newly installed fabric top in great condition, no leaks or rips ($250 value by itself!) - very efficient 4 cylinder 5 speed engine (30-35 mpg) -All other parts not mentioned in the Cons sections are in great shape!-clean titleCons: -Has wiring problem as described above- 2 large dents where it was hit in accident (1 in front between headlight, 1 on the back passenger side)- No Exhaust system
