For sale is a beautiful 1966 Triumph Spitfire Mark 2 1147cc with it's original, matching numbers, engine and transmission. Included is the rare original steel hardtop although that needs to be refinished. I have been the second owner of this gem since 1991. The Spitfire has been fully restored. Restoration included repairing all body work and a professional paint job. New interior and convertible top. Refresh of the engine, transmission, clutch, suspension, brakes, and carburetor systems. . The chrome trim and front bumper are original and have been polished. The rear chrome bumpers are new. Car has black and white hounds-tooth high back seats from a later model Spitfire 1500. Included are the original low back seats in black with white piping that are in great condition. All gauges are in good working order. Also added an electric fan to the radiator and have had no overheating issues. The frame was cleaned of rust and treated. The body work and paint job is absolutely stunning and really shine. You won't find a nice painted Spitfire. Since the restoration was completed this car has been a reliable driver that I would take down to the beach for the weekend or cruise around in style. The car has sporty handling and feels like a big go-kart. A great car to cruise in and enjoy the scenery. The car gets a great deal of attention wherever it is driven. It's a great "see and be seen" car and holds its own against the all the muscle cars at cruise nights. This car has won several awards at shows and was featured in an all Triumph calendar published by Eastgate Classics in 2002. I have purchased my British dream car and have decided to let this one go so a third owner can enjoy. The car starts right up and goes. It has a great exhaust note and darts around like a go-kart. This is a perfect car for someone who wants something reliable and a little different. It's a great attention getter!!! The parts are easy to come by and very reasonably priced. The car is located and can be seen in Port St. Lucie Florida. The buyer will be responsible for shipping. I'm asking $9500 but feel free to give me a counter offer. I think that is a fair price for the car and it's condition.

For sale is a 1996 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE MK2. This was purchased by the current owner in 1976, driven into a garage (concrete floor), removed most of the exterior parts for a restoration and sat for the last 39 years. Car shows 57,752 on the odometer, I have no way to verify this as correct, although I suspect it is accurate and not turned over, due to only in service for 10 years in Wisconsin. There are 24 pictures to view and should explain what you need to know about the condition. I will say it appears to be very restorable, the floors are solid, front and rear, the cowl looks good, firewall good, the header bow is perfect and does not appear to have been in any accidents. There is some sort of fiberglass work in the trunk so this looks like the worst part in terms of restore. Both doors have issues, includes glass and did roll the drivers side up and down. Engine looks complete short the air cleaners, and does turn, not locked. Includes all the extra parts in the last picture, will be included as will the Autopress service manual show in the pictures. I have a clean 1973 Wisconsin title in hand ready for you to transfer. Having said this I am not an expert on these cars, have restored many domestic cars in the past, I am giving my opinion only. If you need to inspect this I can arrange this very easy. Phone number is 262-966-9879, ask for John. This is not for the faint of heart, know what you are getting into. I can assist in shipping but is up to you to pay and arrange this. If you have questions, ask before you bid, highest bidder is the owner, if you are new AND HAVE A ZERO RATING Your bid will be deleted unless you check in and provide your phone number with me before you place your bid so I know you are serious. I require a $200 Paypal deposit within 24 hours of auction end, balance to paid in either cash or bank wire transfer, if you have further questions call John @ 262.966.9879 .....Good Luck....Have Fun !
