This Southern (Tulsa OK) car was purchased last year from a local gentlemen that had it in his garage since 1985. He had the engine balanced and blueprinted and the transmission rebuilt before he parked it. The engine and transmission internals show all new parts (investigated / checked internals before starting it up). This car has the original paint (and it looks it) and rims. You decide if you want to preserve or enhance the car. Only rust is in the rear quarters right behind the tires (usual spots) the rest of the car is VERY CLEAN. 273v8 engine, 4bbl Carb, Edelbrock intake, 4sp trans. Limited slip Diff. List of work items performed to bring it back to working order: Complete rebuild of the Manual brake system.Gas Tank cleaned and recoatedNew fuel pump and hosesRebuilt the carbNew clutchNew Wiper washer motor & bottleNew turn signal lights on the fenders. 1970 Plymouth Barracuda360 cu in (5.9 L) V8, TorqueFlite A727 transmission. Runs and drives great! Older restoration, all custom Italian leather wrapped interior. I am offering my exceptionally nice restored 1970 'Cuda AAR for auction. This car is a completely numbers-matching AAR with an unstamped factory warranty replacement transmission. It is loaded with desirable options, including dual remote control mirrors, console, Rally dash, Rally wheels and AM radio with 8-track (not working). The car matches its build sheet and data plate with the exception of the rear gear which has been changed from the original 3.55:1 to a 4.10:1. The colour is the very desirable Lemon Twist yellow, nicely set off by the black AAR strobe stripe and hood. There is no vinyl roof. The car rides on original-type Goodyear Eagle bias-belted tires. Even comes with a custom-made folding display sign. Stated mileage is as displayed on the odometer. Accuracy not guaranteed. Car was sold originally in Indiana, but I brought it from Texas. No issues to bring it back to the U.S. Feel free to ask any questions. This car is NICE!!!! Don't hesitate.... if it doesn't sell this week, it goes into winter storage, and winter comes early here.
