1968 280 SE COUPE SILVER W/ BLUE INC CLASSIC RARE FULL POWER ORIGINAL 2dr 280 SE coupe. 6cyl automatic. Car needs to restored inside and out. Ran when parked according to previous owner. I have not tried to start it, I will leave that to the next owner. The passengers seat and trim panel are missing. Will need rust repair as all of these do, but definitely worth restoring. Power front windows and manual rear windows. Factory A/C. Not many of these around.

Really Nice clean and honest 250 Sedan in Oriental Red with Palomino interior MBTex. Clean and Dry this car is a two owner vehicle (prior to me owning it a year). I only want to sell this to upgrade my collection. Otherwise I would keep it because it is fun and classy. Chrome is good and paint needs a good wax but is still strong. No rust on the car except for some VERY minor bubbling on the rear right fender. There's a few blemishes on the car but its presentable as heck and could be left as is. Since owning I put new rubber on the car and tightened up the front end. Also Flushed the radiator and brake fluid. On the interior the dash is nice. The carpets and seats are near perfect. Headliner is super. The radio was crapped out on the car so I put in an original radio blank but the wiring is there for the radio. The engine is strong and while the exhaust isn't right for the car its quiet and looks ok. The transmission shifts right. I had a mechanic look at the car before selling to make sure there were no major flaws. The issues he noted were as follows: 1 - Carbs need to be tuned and accelerator linkage should be reset (it drives ok and the acceleration works) 2 - Battery needs replacement. I knew this its a totally small battery for the car 3 right front brake caliper is sticky. This is probably from not driving it enough. The car is low mileage and a real fun runner. easy to maintain classic looking benz. contact me with questions. Note CT is a non-title state. Hello Thanks for lookingNote Ebay will Not accept my vin # THIS IS AN 1984 280SLNote you are buying 1984 280sl flood car, 1984 380sl partys car, 280CC motor and trans, blue hard topFYI A piece of my heart is going with this sale. This is a 1984 280SL that is a Catrina Hurricane car. This is a gray market car. This the best designed and balanced version of this model built. No emission or crappie looking bumpers. I picked this car up in Mobile Al. I drove it around the blocked and on and off the trailer. It ran very rough but it appeared to be in the fuel distribution system. I purchase two of these cars at the time (twins) one for myself and one for my wife. My wife did not want the car so that is the last I ran the car. The other car became fully operational and was sold for 11000 two years ago. The car did not come with a hard top so I purchased one but is Blue and is in good shape. I also obtained an v8 sl for parts which is the same color in and out. It has a complete interior and a red hard top which makes the 2nd hardtop. I also acquired a fully running 280cc six with transmission that came out of an 1985 sedan which had 80,000 miles. I got this for back up just in case.The pics will sell this car.
