Leather seat in back is good, but passenger seat covering needs to be worked on or replaced. This car has been in the family since the original purchase. In 2013 it became a restoration project, but due to other commitments and projects, we are unable to complete the final restoration phase. For sale is a 1987 Mercedes 260 E. This car is immaculate! My grandmother has been the owner since new and has almost all of the service records. So yes the car is a one owner, It has never been driven in the snow or seen salt. There is not a spec of rust on this car. The interior is flawless and smells like new. This car only has 118,000 miles on it. This car does have the moon roof and also a very cold air conditioner and very hot heat. it id worth every penny. Some one who collects these cars would love it!!!! All this needs is a new pin stripe on the drivers side!!

Leather upholstery has significant damage, but much of the dash controls, window glass, int. wood trim, ext. metal trim, drive train, etc are in good shape. The engine is 2.2 liter gas with double-dual throat Solex carbs all still intact and was running smoothly when parked.

Robert Dilger USAF (Silver Star Recipient, A-10, Charlie Wilson's War, Maplenoll Air-bearing turntable) as a gift to himself after surviving being shot down during his tour in Vietnam. The vehicle was ordered from the Stuttgart factory and shipped to the states by Dilger. Despite the age of the vehicle it has only 54,009 ACTUAL MILES! Originally restored to show condition in 1987, currently the ENGINE HAS BEEN REMOVED in preparation for a rebuild that was not completed and will be sold w/ vehicle. Unlike most of this model, this one has NO BODY RUST (minor surface rust on rear bumper) due to being stored in a barn most of the last 40 years.
