4128 Lincoln Blvd Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 310-827-8665 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Vehicle Information: Mileage: 151,428 VIN: 1110231285719 Engine: 6 Cylinders Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: RWD Exterior Color: Silver Interior Color: Black Stock #: 8794 Location: CA Contact Information: Chequered Flag International Inc. 4128 Lincoln Blvd Marina Del Rey, CA 90292 310-827-8665 Vehicle Description: Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1967 Mercedes 250SE Cabriolet US Model. Silver with Black leather interior and Black canvas top. Auto, A/C, power steering and brakes. 151,428 miles. Original engine (#003902). Purchased in 1973 by a Pacific Palisades CA couple who owned it for 30 years after which they sold it to their neighbor who owned it for another 10. Around 2013 it was bought by the owner of the service facility that had worked on it for the last 32 +/- years - Pacific Motors on Pico Blvd in Santa Monica. They did a sympathetic restoration, stripped it for paint, removed the engine for access to engine bay and did a total repaint in Silver. Suspension, brakes, etc. cleaned, repaired or replaced. Mechanically the car is superb. Recent valve job and A/C overhaul, etc. Runs superbly with a nice gear shift, excellent brakes and steering. It has also had bumpers re-chromed, five new Michelin tires fitted etc. New canvas soft top and wool roof liner, new seats front and back, new door panels, sun visors and carpets, wood refinished etc. Comes with its spare, jack and tools, handbook and assorted service receipts. I would estimate the cost of the work at around $55-70,000 but the challenge would be to find one good enough to be the basis for the work. Inspections encouraged. All sales AS-IS. Sales tax and license fees due if delivered in California. Options: Payment Information: We accept cash, cashiers-check, and certified funds.Successful "winning" bidder must contact us within 24 hours after the auction has ended to verify purchase and make arrangements to complete the transaction. 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Chassis No. 113 042 10 004368 Engine No. 127 981 10 003937 Increasingly Desirable Mercedes-Benz Pagoda Numbers-Matching as per M-B DataCard A Well-Equipped Car from the Factory Rare and Desirable 4-Speed Manual Transmission The Mercedes-Benz 230-280 SL series continued the tradition of the sporty open convertible of this famous German manufacturer. It was the successor to both the 190SL and the legendary 300SL Gullwing. Today, its popularity as a classic is increasing. It is nimble and practical while the styling is delicate and well-balanced. Presented in Silver Grey Metallic over Black leather upholstery, this particular 230 is an early example of a Euro market Pagoda with an exceptionally optioned factory configuration. A Mercedes-Benz DataCard translation below, verifies the car's original equipment and numbers-matching mechanicals. Its current appearance is best considered as a "driver quality" example, that would be ideal to bring up to the next level with minor cosmetics performed. The silver paintwork has bridging and flaking in areas, the soft top is new, and the car retains an original Dutch license plate up front and Euro oval in the rear. The cabin's upholstery and trim have been nicely kept with matching coco mats over German square weave carpeting and Becker Monza Cassette player in the dash. Attractively priced and available for inspection. Open air or comfortable coupe-esque touring, Mercedes-Benz's SL roadsters have long been known to provide years of reliable motoring, and this presented driver is just the candidate for continued enjoyment or take back to original form. This is a highly restored 1969 Mercedes-Benz 280SL in excellent condition. The restoration list: Complete Paint Job: Arabian Grey Complete Interior: Brand new wood from Mercedes-Benz, not refinished Complete Engine & Transmission: Done in August 2011, only 1,177 miles driven since This immaculate 280SL was bought new in CA and has never left the state. It has a known ownership history from new (my grandmother had one similar and this car belonged to her best friend until it was sold/given to very close family friends from the same northern CA neighborhood). To my knowledge it has never left the state. From the family that received the car I purchased it and had a full restoration completed by Hot Rods and Hobbies in Long Beach where it was featured on their site.. All the colors and options are correct to the original build and the car has no rust and never has. The car has both roofs, drives exceptionally well and has had all mechanical work completed to as new condition. I have files going back to the late 80’s as well as a DVD of the restoration and a recent independent appraisal for insurance purposes given how quickly these cars are rising in value. A move is forcing this sale and I surely hope it stays in California but of course will entertain any bids. This is somewhat of an emotional sale for me. Roof rack and car cover include.

This auction is for a 1970 MERCEDES BENZ 280SL/8 Pagoda powered by a 2.8-litre six-cylinder engine with soft top and removable hardtop provided the weather protection which this example still retains. For past 16 years the previous owner kept this car at her weather orderly garage and drove with care. Personal luxury automobiles have been a favorite for many people for years. But which car was the first to claim this title is still up for dispute. A worthy contender for the title is the Mercedes-Benz 280SL that came into existence in 1968 and continued until 1971. The original W113 design was the 230SL, introduced in 1963 with the crisp, angular Paul Bracq styling and “Pagoda” removable hardtop, which would become the model’s signatures. The original 150 horsepower six-cylinder grew in size over the decade, with the ultimate model being the 280SL with the 180 horsepower, 2.8-liter engine, introduced in 1968 and built through 1971. The 280SL was the most popular W113, accounting for 23,885 cars.Under the bonnet of this Pagoda is a 2.8-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing 170-hp. This nicely restored car is finished in an extremely rare color combination with an Ivory Crème over a medium green hardtop. It also has medium green MB-Tex interior and the original soft-top finished in medium green German canvas. This 280SL is nicely detailed, including the engine compartment, and comes with the tools and books as expected with this classic Mercedes-Benz 280SL.Pagoda Roadsters the well-known 280SL are still greatly admired sport car among collectors and have become an iconic model in Mercedes Benz History. The market value for this particular model Mercedes Benz continues to hold and rise strong. The engine runs perfect. There are no body dents. The interior is in excellent shape and condition. If you are looking for a normal and not molested 280SL this is it. The investment potential of this great marquis will grow far beyond your imagination! 1963 Mercedes 220SE Cabriolet M Car Company is pleased to offer this absolutely gorgeous 1963 Mercedes 220SE Cabriolet. Finished in classically elegant silver over a grey leather interior and a black top, as the VIN indicates, this is a true cabriolet, not a coupe that has been converted. As anyone familiar with vintage Mercedes’ will attest, because of their timeless styling and low production numbers, no one model has risen in desirability and value over the years more than the W111 cabriolet. To find a gorgeous California example such as this is truly a rare opportunity that any serious W111 buyer should assign significant consideration. The car’s silver exterior finish is deep, lustrous and absolutely stunning. The black soft top is in very good condition with a crystal clear rear plastic window. The glass and rubber are in great shape and the chrome is excellent, free of significant rust/pitting or other damage. The color-matched wheels are in excellent condition and are wrapped in nearly new tires. The interior is equally as clean. The supple grey leather seats are immaculate, as is the grey square-weave carpet. The interior wood is in excellent condition, free of any warping or cracking and retaining astonishing gloss. The door panels and headliner are in excellent condition as well, free of tears, fading or sagging. The car runs famously, starting right up and idling smoothly without any hesitation or smoke. The engine runs stronger than any other 220 we’ve come across, pulling smoothly and powerfully through each of the gears and running cleanly at speed without any shudders or vibrations. We have just spent over $18,000.00 (we have receipts) updating and dialing in all mechanical, exterior and interior. The steering is tight and precise and the handling follows suit. The car is truly a joy to drive, whether touring through town on a weekend afternoon or cruising down the highway.
