SURREALLA Store Selling Vehicle for CLIENT. 1968 Mercedes Benz 280 SE. 6 cylinder EFI (electronic fuel injection). This car has been in storage and not driven for approximately 2 years. It was driven regularly by current owner from 2003 to 2012 was insured and registered. In 2012 the owner became sick and stopped driving. This car is originally from California and has over 100,000 miles, as shown in the service book, so we think it may have 202,151 miles ??? We don't know exactly how many miles it has, so True mileage is unknown. Maybe the vehicle report will show, if not too old? Speedometer and Odometer are currently working. Engine runs smooth on all cylinders. We drove car and engine runs cool and doesn't overheat. Automatic Transmission shifts good. Brakes are a little low. Note: The hose from the air filter to the throttle body is broken, when running the car you can hear an air noise coming from the hose, see video.TO SEE VIDEO, CLICK ON LINK BELOW www.youtube.com/watch Note: Tires are cracked and need to be replaced, they hold air. It is not recommended to drive home. Exhaust is quiet, had been replaced at some point. Car has been repainted. Body has paint chips and chips with rust, see all photos. The floors are solid and the rocker panels are solid. The trunk is good except for the area where the spare tire sits, there is a hole rusted through, see photos. The car has some rust, see all photos. Inside: Seats are very good, wood on dash is worn from sun. A/C does not work. All 4 power windows go up and down. The rear ones go up and down slowly. The radio works. The lights all work, the wipers work. the horn works. The fan blower works, we don't know if the heat works, we don't know how to operate the controls. Dash pad has one crack. Car needs cleaning inside. Car is a good candidate for restoration or drive as is. All doors shut smoothly and tight. Inspection is strongly recommended, call for Appointment. Note: Condition is subjective since everyone has different ideas of quality and condition. The color on registration says "TN" (tan), the car color looks like a pale yellow. Note: Title is a transferable New York registration since it is older than 1972. Will have to be signed by new owner. 1964 Mercedes 220SEB. Excellent parts car or restoration candidate. I changed tank and engine compartment fuel filters, air filter and oil filter, poured fresh gas in the tank and she fired right up and idled good. Watch the video below. Rare manual fuel injection. Due to the number of scammer on ebay, I would have to have a conversation with you over the phone in order to accept your offer!I am Proud to present a one owner original, 1969 Mercedes 280S for sales. Being in California all its life, it has managed to stay virtually rust free. Also due to the fact that it was babied by the original owner, the original pearl white paint has kept its deep luster through decades. According to the original owner, this vehicle was imported from Germany to United Stated on special order with Euro Lights. In order to comply with US safety regulations, He was forced to install the side markers later on. All functions including AC and JBL stereo are in perfect working condition. interior of this car is flawless. There are no cracks on the dash and all the trims have their original luster. Exterior is perfectly straight. Original Spear tire and tool pouch. set of 4 Michelin white wall tires have 95% life left. The vehicle underwent a rigorous mechanical inspection and the following services performed in order to restore optimum driving conditions: 1- Complete Break System overhaul. ( fluid flush, replacing the booster, pads and rotors and checking the fluid lines) 2- Complete rebuilding of both corroborators and tuning them in. 3- overall fine tuning of the engine. (Replacing spark plugs and wires, cap and rotors and fuel pump) 4- All the following fluids flushed and replaced with manufacturer recommended fluid. ( radiator fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid and engine oil) I have owned many Mercedes in my time, but the mechanical fuel injection has given me the most grief. Therefore, I do recommend the simplicity of carburetor equipped W108 chassis over others. Excess of $3000 has been spent on this car in order to maintain its perfect working order. (invoices are available) You will be hard pressed to find another Euro package W108 in such rust free and perfect mechanical condition. This vehicle would make any Mercedes collector proud. A nonrefundable deposit of $1000 is due upon wining the auction within 24 hours. The rest of the balance could be in form of wire transfer or check.
