SURREALLA Store Selling Vehicle for CLIENT. 1968 Mercedes Benz 280 SE. 6 cylinder EFI (electronic fuel injection). This car has been in storage and not driven for approximately 2 years. It was driven regularly by current owner from 2003 to 2012 was insured and registered. In 2012 the owner became sick and stopped driving. This car is originally from California and has over 100,000 miles, as shown in the service book, so we think it may have 202,151 miles ??? We don't know exactly how many miles it has, so True mileage is unknown. Maybe the vehicle report will show, if not too old? Speedometer and Odometer are currently working. Engine runs smooth on all cylinders. We drove car and engine runs cool and doesn't overheat. Automatic Transmission shifts good. Brakes are a little low. Note: The hose from the air filter to the throttle body is broken, when running the car you can hear an air noise coming from the hose, see video.TO SEE VIDEO, CLICK ON LINK BELOW www.youtube.com/watch Note: Tires are cracked and need to be replaced, they hold air. It is not recommended to drive home. Exhaust is quiet, had been replaced at some point. Car has been repainted. Body has paint chips and chips with rust, see all photos. The floors are solid and the rocker panels are solid. The trunk is good except for the area where the spare tire sits, there is a hole rusted through, see photos. The car has some rust, see all photos. Inside: Seats are very good, wood on dash is worn from sun. A/C does not work. All 4 power windows go up and down. The rear ones go up and down slowly. The radio works. The lights all work, the wipers work. the horn works. The fan blower works, we don't know if the heat works, we don't know how to operate the controls. Dash pad has one crack. Car needs cleaning inside. Car is a good candidate for restoration or drive as is. All doors shut smoothly and tight. Inspection is strongly recommended, call for Appointment. Note: Condition is subjective since everyone has different ideas of quality and condition. The color on registration says "TN" (tan), the car color looks like a pale yellow.
