This car is a rare chance to acquire an automotive icon and an absolute Blue-Chip collectible that can be driven, shown and admired for years to come, this E-Type will be a fabulous addition to any collection. Legend has it that when it went on display for the first time at the Geneva Motor Show in 1961, none other than Enzo Ferrari remarked that the E-type (known as the "XKE" in the U.S.) was the most beautiful car he'd ever seen. Mr. Ferrari knew a pretty car when he saw one and he might have been one of the first to express the sentiment, but an incalculable number of others have said virtually the same thing and they're still saying it fifty years later. Designed by a noted aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer, the E-type was meant to cheat the wind, but its glass covered headlights, long hood, short rear deck and compound curves also coincidentally looked great. With a 0-60 time of around seven seconds and a 150 mph top speed, the Series I E-type was near the top of the early 1960's food chain. A 2+2 coupe was added to the coupe and convertible body styles in 1966. The 2+2 was the first E-type to be available with an automatic transmission. This sensational Jaguar has undergone an intensive pre-sale inspection by renowned expert 'Jag John' at the Park Place Service Center. Thank you for looking at this amazing 1970 Jaguar Etype Cab 4.2. First of all this is a three owner car that has been in the same ownership since 1988, always garaged and mechanically maintained so the owner could jump in her at any time, fire her up, and go for a drive. Grand Prix Cafe have had her on the lift and conclude that this is by far one of the most original Etypes we’ve ever seen, everything is as it should be, other than the after market Borla exhaust, which has a deep rich sound to it. She is showing 54,603 miles, matching numbers, and has a comprehensive service history going back to the 70’s. I personally test drove this car for 20 miles and I’m completely blown away with how she drives, she has bags of power and pulls perfectly with no hesitation through each gear. The transmission is smooth and without any grinding or noise. The clutch is light and all systems work as they should. She drives straight and true and the brakes work as they were designed with no binding or pulling on application. If you are looking for an etype that you can instantly jump in and drive across America then here she is. There are no rattles, she is a real pleasure to drive with absolute confidence. OK so lets get to the bodywork. As you can see from the photos she is cosmetically starting to show her age on an older paint job, but only on close inspection, the panel fit is just right and shows she has likely never been hit. Now if you wanted to spend some money on her then she would benefit from a new coat of paint and all new leather seats and carpets, you could also go for a new set of chrome wire wheels, then you would have a stunning beautiful dark blue Etype with beautiful blue leather interior. I personally have never seen this color combination. The convertible top is in very good condition and fits perfectly. The dash has no cracking and will clean up very nicely. All the chrome is in place and while showing its age it has perfect patina. The tool kit looks like we were the first to open it, everything is as it should be. There is surface rust here and there but nothing structural to worry about. The rear wheel arch will need a more serious repair, see image however, the integrity of the body is very good. There are plenty of restored cars out there for sale however, its very hard to find cars like this that are original and have not been molested. Grand Prix Cafe is a full turn key restoration shop and have restored a number of Jaguars, including Etypes and MKII jags. GPC would be happy to undertake any restoration work. We have plenty of additional photos which can be supplied on request. This car would come with an oil and filter service and NYS safety inspection. Thank you for your consideration. Grand Prix Cafe

This is a Southern California 1962 Jaguar XKE roadster. Note a sampling of the vehicle registrations over the years in one of the photos. Mileage on the odometer shows just 22,995. A restored 1961 XKE roadster (in a funky brown color) just sold last week for $380,800.00 at the Keno Auction in New York. I purchased the car about 8 or so years ago with plan of making it a high performance XKE. At the time it was a good running Jaguar but I wanted a perfect car and so restoration work was begun at a local exotic car repair and restoration shop. However, the mechanic who was working on my car left and so for the last 8 years the car has (literally) been sitting on a hydraulic lift for all these years! (No exposure to moisture here!) Since I purchased the car the value of the XKE, particularly the super early cars like this one, has gone up dramatically. Such that the only logical thing to do is restore it back to OEM stock. I simply do not have the time at this point in my life to do the restoration so I am putting the car up for sale, this time with its matching number engine and the original four speed manual gearbox. Plus, my passion was for a high performance build not a stock build. But with the collectablity of these very early E-Types this car is better suited to a pure restoration. Included in the sale are thousands of dollars in new replacement parts, many of which be duplicative. E.g., the original bumpers are in good shape but i purchased another set anyway. Similarly, the door handles, etc. The wire wheels are new as well. The interior (seats, door panels, etc.) are good enough to probably use as is but if someone is restoring it they should be gone over as well. Jaguar built very few XKE roadsters in 1962. When this car was built there were only around 4,000 XKE roadsters produced globally for model years 1961 and 1962 combined. (That's an average of about 2,000 cars a year while Ferrari is producing more than 6,000 cars a year.) The engine is currently being gone through, including a valve job and upon delivery it should be ready to simply be dropped in the car. It's getting harder and harder to find these early XKEs unrestored and in solid condition like this Southern California car. This is a great winter project that will make the new happy owner a nice return on their investment. The car is sold As Is.

12 years and approximately 9,000 miles have passed since we restored this beautiful E Type, and it is now time for her to go to a new home! This car has just received a major mechanical update in the Team CJ workshops. Within the last 100 miles we have have installed new Dunlop tires, new Koni shocks and springs, new uprated torsion bars, our latest specification vented brake conversion, new H4 headlamps, a new stainless steel CJ header system, a CJ K&N billet air filter kit, rebuilt the triple SU carbs and installed a state of the art Ignition 123 electronic distributor. This car is now in perfect mechanical condition and drives beautifully. This exceptional E Type features numerous performance and reliability upgrades, including a smooth shifting CJ5 five speed transmission (the original matching number four speed casing is included in the sale). Cosmetically the paint has picked up several minor nicks and imperfections, and the bonnet has been repainted since the car left CJ 12 years ago. That said, the paint still shows very nicely overall, and is certainly 'high quality driver' standard. As is almost always the case, the photos make the paint appear better than it actually is. The interior and canvas convertible top show just the right amount of patina you might expect from less than 10,000 miles of use, and remain in excellent condition. This matching number CJ restoration is 100% rust free, cosmetically extremely presentable, and mechanically superb. A detailed photographic record of the restoration performed by Classic Jaguar in 2002/04 can be seen on the Classic Jaguar website in the Workshop Archives section. Email me for a link, if you can't find it. This car is being offered for sale elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time prior to the reserve being met. This vehicle is being sold strictly 'as is, where is' with no warranty of any kind being offered. Clear, unencumbered title conveys to the new owner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to acquire a fun and relatively straightforward E Type project that should prove to be a wonderful long term investment. This fully matching number car had been with the same owner since the 1970's and is only for sale due to that gentleman's ill health. Well over $100,000 has been spent to date, including a high quality rotisserie body restoration using all new Martin Robey panels. The 100% rust free body features new floors, sills, boot floor, door skins and engine frames, with all panel replacement done to a high standard. All welded seams have been properly lead loaded, etc. The bumpers have all been re-plated, and the car comes with boxes of new replacement parts, yet been installed. The engine, brakes, IRS and front suspension have all been completely rebuilt, although the restoration stalled about eight years ago, so the brake hydraulics will probably need servicing. With all the hard (and expensive) work done, this would be a great car to build as a home project. Inspections are welcome and actively encouraged. Call or email with any questions or to make an appointment to view. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty of any kind being offered. Purchased new at Baker Motor C. on Peachtree Rd. in Atlanta Georgia by its only owners, Jack and Beulah Alexander, it was very well taken care of throughout its life. Equipped with factory Air Conditioning, a 4 Spd. transmission, AM-FM radio & a vinyl covered Hard Top (for those chili Ga. nites), they decided to leave the standard chrome Steel wheels on her which happen to look pretty darn tasty wrapped in a set of period correct White Wall tires. It also has a lot of original paperwork, the Passport to Service manual, the original owners manual, factory Jack in the bag & a ton of books, receipts & repair manuals. It was on the cover of The Jaguar Marque magazine from Winter 1984 & Mr.Alexander was featured in the Automotive Showcase section of the Palm Beach newspaper back in 2002. It was living in the Palm Beach area of Florida for the last 2 decades, this E Type made regular appearances on the local Jaguar Club events & as well as many other interesting shows winning many trophies amongst strong competition. It is all original other than having been repainted in its original Turquoise Green color a few years back & having a replaced free-flow exhaust system. This beautiful, matching numbers E Type roadster received a high quality 'driver restoration' in the Team CJ Workshops approximately 4 years ago, and the car having been driven less than 1000 since. The chrome has been refurbished, the Triplex windscreen is new, and the car sits on fresh Dayton wire wheels and Dunlop tires. Here is a great example of a 1966 Jaguar XKE Series 1 covered headlight roadster. This car has had a spectacular restoration even though 15 years old. No expense was spared on this nut and bolt restoration with originality the primary purpose. while being able to drive this car when desired. The complete restoration is documented with a book of pictures. The car originally was primrose yellow from the factory and changed to red during the restoration. Recently the car was gone through by a jaguar mechanic who only works on jaguar .He went through the entire car and found it needed the exhaust and intake valves replaced. After going through the car from front to back the car is now ready for its next owner. Please call me with any questions @ 508 237 9999

This is a fantastic XKE that I am selling on behalf of the original owners family. He purchased the car in 1974 and lovingly cared for it ever since. I have service, repair and maintenance records as well as the details of a complete mechanical restoration from 1999. The car has only traveled 870 miles since then. The car had 52319 miles on it when it has this restoration completed. This would give the car about 53000 original miles. I have just had the car serviced with a fresh battery, complete change of fluids, new A/C compressor and a safety check. It runs and drives great! Of course its numbers matching and has the spare wire wheel and jacking tools. Everything works in the car with the exception of the Radio. The body is in great condition. Not only are there no signs of rust, but the work orders for the bare metal repaint also shows no rust repair needed. The floors are original and have their original undercoating. The soft top is Haartz cloth and in new condition. The boot is also in new condition. The leather seats, door panels and carpets present great and look fresh. The chrome looks bright and fresh, although I did spot one tiny area on one of the front bumpers that is beginning to show some age. The wire wheels are great with terrific chrome and excellent tires. The Factory Hard Top has probably never been used and had been stored in the back of the garage all of these years, but unfortunately it suffered some surface scratches and chips along the way. The interior and headliner of the top is still remarkably good. The latches show no signs of use. Annex Houston is pleased to present this 1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1.5 finished in British Racing Green with a Black Leather Interior.  The is a survivor and absolutely rust free including the bolts to subframe.  The car was sitting for over 20yrs until it was brought to life 2012 and the brakes got overhauled, new muffler and exhaust, rebuilt original alternator, new fuse box, differential oil was replaced, rebuilt carbs, flushed gas system, radiator flushed.  The Engine had no slug and the clutch did not need replacing. This is one of the lowest production XKE with many parts from a series 1.  The car runs great and all the lights and gauges work properly.  All original paint and interior with a great patina look.  My plan was to restore the interior and leave the original paint.  The cars comes with a complete interior package including a set of reupholstered seats and cloth top.
