Designed under the guidance of Sir William Lyons, the car was a longer and lower version of Jaguar's D-Type. Manufactured between 1961 and 1975, its combination of good looks, high performance, and competitive pricing established the marquee as an icon of 1960s motoring. On its release Enzo Ferrari called it "The most beautiful car ever made". UD1S23052 was built on June18, 1973 and dispatched on the 30th of August, destined for the U.S. market wearing Azure Blue paint over French Blue leather upholstery and black convertible top. The Jaguar was acquired by the previous owner in early 1983. It would later receive a cosmetic freshening in the 1980's before it was permanently parked in garage static storage in 1990/91. With a little TLC, it appears the car could easily be revived with a good detailing and full mechanical service. All body panels and brightwork are consistent while the underside lacks signs of any major structural corrosion. The cabin's upholstery remains in excellent shape, with all of the desired equipment including factory air conditioning, 4-speed manual transmission, British Leyland radio and period AMCO rubber mats. Jaguar Heritage Trust verifies its original numbers-matching V12 engine, which moves freely, although proper precautions by its next caretaker will need to be made before it's first starting. The SIII Roadster is often considered the best driving and the most refined models of the series. Ideally optioned with manual transmission, a/c, great colors and wire wheels - here is an excellent option for those seeking an affordable entry into E-type ownership. $67,500.00 Offers Welcomed Full Resolution Photos: 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or [email protected] SELLING YOUR CAR? 12 years and approximately 9,000 miles have passed since we restored this beautiful E Type, and it is now time for her to go to a new home! This car has just received a major mechanical update in the Team CJ workshops. Within the last 100 miles we have have installed new Dunlop tires, new Koni shocks and springs, new uprated torsion bars, our latest specification vented brake conversion, new H4 headlamps, a new stainless steel CJ header system, a CJ K&N billet air filter kit, rebuilt the triple SU carbs and installed a state of the art Ignition 123 electronic distributor. This car is now in perfect mechanical condition and drives beautifully. This exceptional E Type features numerous performance and reliability upgrades, including a smooth shifting CJ5 five speed transmission (the original matching number four speed casing is included in the sale). Cosmetically the paint has picked up several minor nicks and imperfections, and the bonnet has been repainted since the car left CJ 12 years ago. That said, the paint still shows very nicely overall, and is certainly 'high quality driver' standard. As is almost always the case, the photos make the paint appear better than it actually is. The interior and canvas convertible top show just the right amount of patina you might expect from less than 10,000 miles of use, and remain in excellent condition. This matching number CJ restoration is 100% rust free, cosmetically extremely presentable, and mechanically superb. A detailed photographic record of the restoration performed by Classic Jaguar in 2002/04 can be seen on the Classic Jaguar website in the Workshop Archives section. Email me for a link, if you can't find it. This car is being offered for sale elsewhere, so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time prior to the reserve being met. This vehicle is being sold strictly 'as is, where is' with no warranty of any kind being offered. Clear, unencumbered title conveys to the new owner. For further information or an appointment to view, please email through the eBay system or call on (512) 288 8800 between 7am and 4pm (CST), Monday thru Friday.

Series I Features with Series II Open Headlight - A Rare Factory Combination 1R34515 was completed at the Browns Lane Jaguar works on June 25, 1967 as a US market example, distributed through Jaguar Cars handling in New York and sold new to W. Deane Brimm in Pale Primrose Yellow over Black leather upholstery. This particular XKE is known as an open-headlight Series 1 (aka S11/4) - not to be mistaken as a Series 1.5. The Series 1.25s were identical to the standard Series 1s except for one item - the bonnet. This bonnet featured open headlights for the first time on an E-type. All other component areas, including the interior and engine compartment were identical to the late Series 1s, such as the 4.2 XK engine with three SU carburetors, polished aluminum cam covers, and single radiator fan, wipers, toggle switches and interior door handles. Contrary to popular belief, Jaguar did not use up inventory on hand to produce the Series 1.5s; all component changes on the Series 1.5s came about simultaneously beginning with the chassis numbers cited during the month of August 1967. This longtime California car is correct in appearance with a very original patina throughout. Today this beautiful coupe an older exterior repaint on the body while the engine bay and spare tire compartment display original paint and markings. As with the cabin's upholstery, equipped with nicely mellowed leather seating and one of the most beautiful period Motorola radios we have ever seen installed. The recorded mileage of 49,500 is likely correct, judging by the originally of the car. Its solid floors are in excellent condition, as is the original glass, rebuilt suspension, and Amco bumper guards complementing the bright chrome wheels with period correct Avon tires. There are a couple of dents/dings on the doors but overall the body remains in beautiful condition as do the engine compartment, undercarriage, and interior. The driving feel is as one would imagine, sporty, tight and very responsive. Overall this is a very "dialed in" and honest car. Offered with Owner's Operating Handbook and Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, this Coupe presents as an outstanding example of the Open-Headlight Series I Fixed Head Coupe. $96,500.00 Offers Welcomed Full Resolution Photos: 1967 Jaguar E-Type 4.2L Series I FHC To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or [email protected] SELLING YOUR CAR? This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to acquire a fun and relatively straightforward E Type project that should prove to be a wonderful long term investment. This fully matching number car had been with the same owner since the 1970's and is only for sale due to that gentleman's ill health. Well over $100,000 has been spent to date, including a high quality rotisserie body restoration using all new Martin Robey panels. The 100% rust free body features new floors, sills, boot floor, door skins and engine frames, with all panel replacement done to a high standard. All welded seams have been properly lead loaded, etc. The bumpers have all been re-plated, and the car comes with boxes of new replacement parts, yet been installed. The engine, brakes, IRS and front suspension have all been completely rebuilt, although the restoration stalled about eight years ago, so the brake hydraulics will probably need servicing. With all the hard (and expensive) work done, this would be a great car to build as a home project. Inspections are welcome and actively encouraged. Annex Houston is pleased to present this 1968 Jaguar XKE Series 1.5 finished in British Racing Green with a Black Leather Interior. This is a survivor and absolutely rust free including the bolts to subframe. The car was sitting for over 20yrs until it was brought to life 2012 and the brakes got overhauled, new muffler and exhaust, rebuilt original alternator, new fuse box, differential oil was replaced, rebuilt carbs, flushed gas system, radiator flushed. The Engine had no slug and the clutch did not need replacing. This is one of the lowest production XKE with many parts from a series 1. The car runs great and all the lights and gauges work properly. Tell You Heart Heads Up Geneva, March 16 1961. Jaguar unveils that star of the Auto show, a 150 mph race-bred monocoque sports car with independent rear suspension, disc brakes and styling that would become an icon of the 60s. Its name is the Jaguar E-type (or XKE as it will be better known in the United States). Then on May 7, 1968, this particular “Series 1.5” car rolled off of the assembly line in Coventry, England bound for the U.S. Could its builders have imagined then that this car would command the roads well into the next millennium? Although an icon of beauty, this car has been restored to be driven. Affectionately (and with tongue in cheek) known as "Bad Kitty", this E-Type features quite a few all-Jaguar upgrades and enhancements from its full restoration in 2006 that respect the vintage of the car. The transmission is a 5-speed CJ5 unit from Classic Jaguar in Austin, Texas, specifically designed for E-Types with modern features like carbon fiber synchro rings. The original engine was completely rebuilt (light-weight flywheel, new cams, head, & larger valves) and balanced after a triple-Weber carb conversion. Also added were a custom A/C system from Retro A/C, Securon retractable locking three-point seat belts, and an upgraded charging system. Aesthetically, the car has Dayton six-inch wire wheels with Series 1 "eared" knock-off hubs, new (2006) interior upholstery, new (2006) headliner, and new (2006) paint in the car's original Opalescent Silver Gray Metallic color.Aesthetically, the car exudes class and sophistication without being pretentious. But the key differentiator of this car over most other E-Types currently on the market is the way it drives. Bad Kitty is a thoroughbred that is ready for action at the turn of its key. This is a no-excuses high-quality driver whose driving experience is more mechanically immersive than any modern sports car. You get it, turn the key, and go...and go fast you will! But its most impressive feature is inspiration. Watching the dawn light flow over Bad Kitty’s sumptuous compound curves, you'll soon know what all the fuss is about, and why this is an automotive icon.NOTE: Not recommended for those whose hearts are not healthy enough for sex, as both looking at and driving Bad Kitty can induce fainting spells. Car Name: Bad Kitty Year, Make & Model: 1968 Series 1.5 E-Type FHC. (Jaguar does not officially recognize the "Series 1.5" designation, but instead considers these the last of the Series 1s. Enthusiasts, collectors, and even the Jaguar Club of North America (JCNA) use the Series 1.5 moniker for cars made for model-year 1968 because of the significant changes made to the car to improve reliability, and satisfy U.S. safety& emissions regulations that would take effect in 1969. The exterior is the essentially the same as almost all other Series 1 cars made from 1961 - 1967. The big changes were to the cooling system, dash, and headlights.) Chassis Number (used for VIN): 1E35328 NOTE: The VIN number of title matches the chassis number on the data plate. However, the actual chassis number stamped on the "bird cage" front frame section is 1E35528 (one digit off). The Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust rendered an opinion supporting the conclusion that there is an error on the data plate. A curious and rare occurrence, but not unheard of. There is no issue with title, nor any contention over the match of the numbers. A copy of their opinion is included in the documentation to be supplied with the car.) The Jaguar-Daimler Heritage Trust issues Heritage Certificates that officially confirm a Jaguar's identification numbers, date of manufacture, delivery destination, and even first owner. Bad Kitty's Heritage Trust Certificate will come with the car. The original mileage is not known, as the odometer was reset during the 2006 restoration. Since then, 19,039 miles have been put on the clock.

Introduced in 1961, the E-Type roadster proved to be an immediate success. Designed under the guidance of Sir William Lyons, the car was a longer and lower version of Jaguar's D-Type. Manufactured between 1961 and 1975, its combination of good looks, high performance, and competitive pricing established the marquee as an icon of 1960s motoring. Early Series I E-Types are among the most admired models Jaguar ever produced, and this complete numbers matching example is no exception. Built August 27, 1962, 877993 was dispatched on the 14th of October, selling new to Dr. R. O. Hummer, as verified by the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, wearing Black paint over Maroon hides and Black top. Equipment includes optional hardtop, manual transmission, classic spear seats, aluminum console, toggle switches, Blaupunkt Radio with winged bezel, chrome wire wheels and the closed headlights most indicative of early XKEs. This particular Roadster came to us from California ownership near the Nevada border, where it was retained in long term ownership. It has recently received a new interior and a thorough mechanical tune-up to ensure it longevity as a celebrated driver. Work included cleaning the carburetors, flushing and changing fluids and installing a new battery. Additionally factory correct maroon leather and vinyl upholstery in the cabin were installed, along with a new soft top, grey wool hardtop headliner, new plexi window and rubbers for the hardtop, as well as new period Coker redline tires. Its brightwork and paint have aged and show flaws, but remain ideally suited for what these lean sports cars are meant for, driving! Wearing a rare an desirable color combination just as it left the factory; the car displays an honest chassis and strong numbers-matching mechanicals. Overall a very correct car true to its heritage, this Roadster possesses the thrilling driving experience inherent in Jaguar's E-Type as a desirable icon for collector car enthusiasts. 172,500.00 Offers Welcomed Full Resolution Photos: 1963 Jaguar E-Type 3.8L OTS Roadster To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or [email protected] SELLING YOUR CAR? The winner of this auction will have the opportunity to own this beautiful 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Convertible. The paint is in excellent condition and it is apparent that this car was garaged and meticulously-maintained. The interior is virtually flawless and is equipped with all the right options. 45,871 miles. You can't go wrong with this fabulous vehicle! 265 bhp, 4,235 cc DOHC inline six-cylinder engine with triple SU carburetors, four-speed manual transmission with full synchromesh, independent front suspension with transverse wishbones, torsion bars, telescopic shocks, and an anti-roll bar, independent rear suspension with lower transverse tubular links and twin coil springs, and four-wheel Dunlop twin-circuit hydraulic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 96 in. Jaguar had enjoyed great success with its XK series of sports cars, but the E-Type was not, as might have been expected, a continuation of the XK150. Instead, the XKE (as it was dubbed in the U.S.) was based largely upon a pair of prototype racing cars, E1A and E2A, which themselves borrowed heavily from the very successful monocoque-bodied D-Type racing chassis. In fact, E2A was the intended replacement for the D. Following earlier precedent, there would be two versions of the new E-Type, an open two-seater, or roadster, and a fixed head coupe, both with sleek and curvaceous bodies designed by Malcolm Sayer, a pioneer in automotive aerodynamics. Under the E-Type’s broad front-hinged bonnet was essentially the same 3.8-liter twin-cam inline six as in its predecessors, producing 265 brake horsepower. The gearbox was a four-speed manual without synchronization on the first gear (known as the “Moss” box). Suspension, though, was thoroughly modern—independent all around. There were powerful four-wheel disc brakes, inboard at the rear to reduce un-sprung weight. Performance was astonishing, especially for its price. The E-Type had real 150-mph capability. The first examples did have some minor “flaws,” many of which were rectified in 1964 with a larger and more robust engine of 4.2 liters. Though it still offered the same 265 brake horsepower, it came with greatly increased mid-range torque: 283 foot-pounds versus the 3.8’s 240 foot-pounds. More importantly, though, was the introduction of a new, fully synchronized transmission with a new Laycock diaphragm clutch. Engine cooling was also revised, and there was a new alternator to replace the generator. The brakes were improved, with better power-assist, and the seatbacks were now adjustable. The Jaguar offered here is a magnificent example of one of the most sought-after versions of the E-Type, the Series 1 4.2-Litre from 1965. It is presented in its original colors of Carmen Red over a tan leather interior, and of course, it sports chrome wire wheels. This E-Type offers the above-mentioned mechanical improvements but retains the original design’s most appealing stylistic features, such as covered headlights, a small grille opening, turn signal lights and taillights above the delicate horizontal blade bumpers, and exhaust tips that protrude under the number plate in the rear. The consignor notes that Lance Pittack purchased this car from Raymond Ray, owner of Concours Jaguar Restoration in Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, about 17 years ago in restored condition. Mr. Pittack, a well-known collector in Omaha, Nebraska, enjoyed the car for several years but decided to further enhance it to true show-condition in the early 2000s. His restoration specialists installed a new bonnet, rectified a few remaining small issues in the body, and ultimately repainted the car as it is finished today. The interior was left as-is, as it did not need any work at the time. The current owner purchased this lovely old E Type from the estate of the original owner in August 2004. At that time, the car had been off the road for many years, and had covered only 33,493 miles from new. The current mileage on the car is 37,840. This E Type has never left the state of Texas since it was first sold by Overseas Motors of Fort Worth in 1972. Since acquiring the car, the current owner has spent a great deal of money bringing it to its present condition. Classic Jaguar has been regularly servicing and systematically upgrading the car in the CJ workshops since 2007. The mechanical work completed includes suspension, cooling, ignition, braking, steering, transmission, carb and AC repairs. Mechanically, the car is well sorted and runs and drives very well. Everything, including the air conditioning system, works as it should. In 2008, we gave this rust free car a driver quality repaint in the original Old English White, and more recently we replaced the headliner, carpeting, and installed new Suffolk & Turley seat covers, front and rear. The steering wheel is showing its age and should probably be restored or replaced at some point in the future, although it is perfectly serviceable as is. This car has received a recent service, including four brand new Dayton wire wheels and Dunlop tires. Within the last few months, we also installed a new Retrosound radio with modern iPod/smartphone interface. These V12 2+2 cars represent the best value in the E Type market. They are probably the most user friendly of all the various E Type models, and this particular car is ready to use and enjoy immediately. It is common knowledge that E Types are appreciating fast. This particular car represents excellent value and a rock solid investment at the selling price. As is almost always the case, "on-line photos" make the car look a little better than it actually is, cosmetically. This car is being represented as a high quality driver and is by no means a show car. Although it is obviously extremely presentable, there are some minor nicks and imperfections that do not show up in the photos. Inspections and test drives are welcome and actively encouraged. Call or email with any questions or to make an appointment to view. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranty of any kind being offered. Please call us on (512) 288 8800 or email through the eBay system for more information or an appointment to view.

This beautiful, matching numbers E Type roadster received a high quality 'driver restoration' in the Team CJ Workshops approximately 4 years ago, and the car having been driven less than 1000 since. We performed a complete body restoration and total mechanical rebuild from stem to stern. The result is a beautiful E Type with upgraded cooling, suspension and ignition, as well as a CJ five speed transmission. The original, matching numbers transmission is included in the sale. The Opalescent Dark Blue paint is stunning, and complimented beautifully by the biscuit Suffolk & Turley interior. The chrome has been refurbished, the Triplex windscreen is new, and the car sits on fresh Dayton wire wheels and Dunlop tires. Just thoroughly serviced in the CJ Workshop, this car is ready to drive and/or show, needing nothing but a new owner! It could not be replicated for anywhere near the asking price. A detailed photographic record of the restoration process is available upon request.Sold strictly 'as is, where is' with no warranty of any kind being offered. Clear title conveys to the new owner. For an appointment to view, please email through the eBay system or call (512) 288 8800.

I provide interesting cars to the auto enthusiast, specializing in Ferrari models from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. I do not operate your average "used car" dealership, and I do not sell "average" cars. I take a great deal of pride in only supplying the highest quality automobiles, ones that I like, and would buy and drive myself. All automobiles are handpicked by myself. I do not buy automobiles at wholesale auctions; most of my automobiles come from private owners and fellow enthusiasts. And, if an automobile is not up to my very high standards when I receive it, I spend whatever is required to bring it to that point. I also provide consignment and brokering services, so if you're looking to find an automobile, or need help selling your automobile, contact me. In addition, my partnerships with Sphere Motorsports and Alara Garage means that you have a full range of services available to you before and after the sale. So, give me a call, e-mail me, or even come visit me today, so that I can begin the process of finding your dream automobile.DisclaimerThis auction is a legally binding contract to buy this vehicle. All vehicles are sold as-is unless otherwise specified. I have done my best to accurately describe this vehicle. Finished in the beautiful combination of Regency Red exterior over Biscuit interior, this "Series II" E-Type, with its 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine and some tasteful modern upgrades, is a lovely example of an fully restored E-Type that can be driven and enjoyed, and is quite possibly one of the last 6-cylinder E-Types ever built. The car was sold new in San Antonio, TX to its first owner in 1971. The second owner bought the car in 1974, and imported it to his home in Mexico. In 1980, this owner put the car into storage in his enclosed garage, where it resided until the third (and current) owner purchased the car in 2001. At this time, the car was utterly complete, original, and undamaged, with 12,000 miles on the odometer, but needed cosmetic and mechanical restoration due to age. The owner first commissioned a full restoration of the body and interior by a specialist, which took place in 2006-2007. The body was stripped to bare metal and fully repainted, and the interior was completely replaced including the soft top. Once the cosmetic restoration was complete, the car was shipped to Paul Mellenger at LoneStar Vintage Restoration in Houston, TX, a renowned Jaguar E-Type expert, for a full mechanical restoration. The engine was completely rebuilt at this time, and some mechanical upgrades were performed in order to allow the car to be reliably driven in modern traffic and warm climates. The original Zenith carburetors were replaced with Webers, a 5-speed gearbox with a lightened flywheel was installed, the electrical system was completely overhauled along with a Bosch 90 amp alternator, and the cooling system was upgraded with an aluminum radiator. The car originally came from the factory with A/C; however, this system was upgraded with a modern R134 rotary compressor and new hoses. Finally, the suspension was refurbished with new bushings and Spax adjustable shock absorbers. In total, over $70,000 was spent on the cosmetic and mechanical restoration. The car now shows 17,200 original miles, and is in beautiful condition. I have personally driven this car, and it feels and drives as a Series II E-Type should. The straight-6 engine makes a wonderful growl, the steering is accurate, the suspension is tight, and the brakes work well. All electrical components are functional, and the air conditioning blows cold, as should be expected with the upgraded A/C system. Both the soft top and the original factory hard top are present, as well as the tonneau cover for the soft top. Jaguar E-Types have appreciated dramatically in the recent past, but the Series II has not moved in value as quickly as the earlier Series I and I 1/2 cars. In reality, the Series II cars are arguably nicer to drive and somewhat more reliable than the earlier cars, and should not be overlooked by an astute collector who desires a car that not only can be an important part of a collection, with the potential for value appreciation, but one that can also be driven regularly as well. Pre-purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged, and I look forward to discussing this fine motorcar with you. Series I E-Types are among the most admired models Jaguar ever produced. This car, a two seater FHC delivered June 2, 1966 to Mr. Howard Jenson Jr. of Bloomfield, Connecticut was later acquired by another local resident Edward T. Morgan. Mr. Morgan of Morgan Laboratories would go on the own the vehicle for the remainder of his life. It's believed the car was garaged in 1976/77, where it would rest until just this year. Wearing correct Opalescent Maroon paintwork over original black leather upholstery as it left the factory, the car remains exceptionally original and solid throughout. The floors are surprisingly intact and remain very original including the original undercoat. It appears this Coupe was professionally fitted in period with an advanced audio and recording system, as well as Lucas driving lamps, but otherwise factory in appearance with preserved original equipment. 1E32848 retains its numbers-matching engine and head, as verified by original documentation. Importantly, this car's original accessories accompany the sale, including the Operating, Maintenance and rare Service Handbook, Warranty Voucher, Maintenance Voucher Booklet, Maintenance Chart - All in Plastic Pouch, Complete Tool Roll, Jack Bag, Spare Assembly and Parts. With the desirable 4.2L engine and closed headlights most indicative of early XKEs, here is a very collectible example with solid bones and history for an easy straightforward restoration or preservation of its unique originality. $53,500.00 Offers Welcomed Full Resolution Photos: 1966 Jaguar E-Type 4.2L Coupe To learn more about this vehicle, please contact our sales department at (281) 497-1000 or [email protected] SELLING YOUR CAR?
