THIS 1975 XJ6L Series II is the most original Jaguar sedan of this vintage I've ever seen under $20000!NONE of the series 2 XJs were ever sold with Euro bumpers in USA, and the XJ6 &XJ12s for USA cars ALL had ugly black rubber fed extended ones! This Jaguar was Federal import inspected and had minor corrections added for doors seat belts and steel reinforced behind chrome bumpers but all is original, including 7" headlights that were not on USA Jaguars ! This is a 2 owner me being second first original family! XJ6 originally purchased by German Baron in Germany new and shipped to USA in 1986 always garaged and NEVER driven in poor weather or snow I purchased from son of the Baron he had in storage since his mother passed in 1996! Absolutely no rust chrome is all original and NO rust or pitting original in tinted glass and seats are original beautiful black leather as is all carpets door panels and dash only replaced headliner. Re-Painted original color in 1996. When I purchased it had Michelin tires over 20 years old still on it with original wheels and caps with beauty rings, I put them in indoor storage and they're included with new tires, I also have the near perfect original steering wheel included,I added my leather XJS wheel that fits without adapter for better grip not included. I added the perfect 1995 XJR 17" sport wheels and Z rated tires, these bolted on with no spacers needed they're NOT included in price! I'll ADD XJR wheels & tires for ($2000) extra! No radio ever! No AC, dual H8 SU carbs no smog devices either as was built since new! EXPORT, NO PROBLEM... This is a Super COOL, Jag XJ6 in extremely nice, low mile condition. This classic Jag has original miles with approximately 20K on the drivetrain swap. The car was converted by the original owner to a small block chevy V8 and turbo trans in 1996 with approximately 100Kmiles on the clock... shows 121K currently. Total sleeper and professionally built and the work is meticulous... looks, runs and drives factory. Factory exhaust... it's quiet and smooth.... I'd actually prefer a bit more rumble lol. Amazingly well preserved and loved Florida car for most of its life. Complete service history from the 80's to current. This is a perfect power train set up on a beautiful car. Excellent power off the line and will cruise 80-90 all day. It is a TOP QUALITY professional V8 conversion and it shows throughout. The car looks, runs, feels AMAZING. Definite daily driver capable... Excellent weekend cruiser or addition to any collection. It's a driver not a trailer queen but will hold its own at cruises and local shows... not much to make it a big show winner. I bought this car on the east coast and it is currently at my family's farm outside Philly. I'm in Bev Hills CA... that is why I have not addressed the minor issues mentioned below. I am listing this once as is... if it does not sell this week I will ship it to LA and address these minor things. Body is super super straight with no rust or collision damage that I can see... clean Carfax! Excellent driver quality repaint presents beautifully with only some minor blemishes. Seams and rubbers are great and the body, trim, moldings etc are well in tact and in fantastic shape.I have the center caps for the factory mag rims... has brand new tires. Interior is extremely nice as well. Power Leather Seats, Panels, Carpet, and headliner all look excellent... Gauges and electronics work properly. AC blows cool, not cold... recharge? Older window tint is getting cloudy and should be removed or redone. Gorgeous interior. Rebuilt SBC Motor starts, runs, and idles excellent...has new Holley carb and fresh tune... rebuilt trans shifts so smooth through the gears. Suspension has been gone thru and serviced...feels tight and handles excellent. Brakes stop straight and sure. FABULOUS driver. Overall this is an extremely nice little V8 Jag cruiser in fantastic original condition all around... it is well preserved and restored. Awesome weekend cruiser, potential show car, or addition to any collection. Inline 6 , 4.2 Liter 176 BHP @ 4750 RPM 219 Ft-Lbs @ 2500 RPM Lucas-Bosch L-Jetronic Fuel Injection Top speed: 198 km/h (123 mph) Rear Wheel Drive Weight - 4060 lbs Borg-Warner 3 speed automatic Wood and Red Leather cabin. Leather has cracks but is still in very reasonable condition. This Jaguar is one of the last of the First Generation Independent Rear Suspension cars, great handling. Project car almost complete. Selling because of health issues. Please Read: New fuel pump and fuel filter Driveable but ONLY front brakes work at the moment. All rear brake components were replaced. Last items that need to be installed is rear brake pads and crossover brake line, entire system bled. Deep scratch in driver side door. AC and heat are not working. Dual tanks but only using one tank. All parts are in place to use both tanks if desired.

This is an X300 series, known to be among the most reliable. This model was only sold abroad so it's rare. It comes with a tight suspension, custom driver seat controls and 8" sport wheels. Front seat has a tear and leather seats are worn. Windows and locks aren't working but I have replacement regulators for 3 windows. Doors lock automatically when put in drive but don't seem to work individually. I also ordered AC expansion valve since AC blows but can't hold freon. Aside from a few cosmetics parts, car runs strong and doesn't smoke. Paint is fair and tires have good thread. Purchased new battery a few days ago. Selling as is. Thank you for looking. (Private seller) Chance to own a beautiful iconic low miles classic/vintage Sir William Lyons Jaguar XJ40 / XJ6 Vanden Plas. 1994 is the first XJ model year with major engineering modifications from Ford Lincoln Motor Co., the last XJ built with design input from Jaguar's co-founder Sir Williams Lyons; the first Jaguar with airbags (and the only XJ40 with airbags); the last and most reliable XJ40 model year ever built, according to Car and Driver. Ford Lincoln Motor Co. addressed common XJ40 issues, such as door handle malfunctions. The car appears in a forthcoming Happy Madison feature film (2017). Drives great, engine sounds good. Interior, like the exterior, looks great . . . Pirelli tires on their way out, maybe 3-5K miles left. 'Refrigeration' system works on high setting only, needs attention. There's a rattle from the left front quarter on bumps--needs professional evaluation.The plastic faux wood face of the ashtray (center console), and that of the upper sunroof/reading light console, are cracked The interior headliner should be replaced--it's clean but sags just a bit above the back seat (I've temporarily stapled to keep from sagging--looks fine; fix = about $500). Exterior: Few dings and minor scratches; there is one dent under the rear bumper on the small lower panel; estimates provided.This car is potentially/almost a showpiece, as well as a convenient every day car. The paint is original, looks good--some blemishes. All hoses and belts replaced this year. Inspected from bow to stern less than a year ago, everything looks good--brakes, transmission, etc. Smog good in CA through early 2017. Garaged. High quality water proof cover included.
