Floor tub/ interior tub is fiberglass so no rust there. Missing too many parts to list. There is a extra damaged front fender along with a door shell in the back. 2 original front rims are still on it, rears are just rollers. All vin tags and stamping on frame are still in place and match but selling as parts car, no title. Bill of sale only as is with collision damage.

1983 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole - 22,786 Original Miles / Original Paint This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTSi Quattrovalvole comes in a classic red on black color configuration. The paint job is completely original with no repainted panels on the car. The interior is in great shape given its age and the leather throughout the cabin is well-kept. Aesthetically, the car is stunning to look at and its visual condition makes you feel as though you've entered a time machine. Its most recent owner had it for the last 10 years and loved every minute of ownership. It is in very good mechanical condition and runs well with no issues to report. The car is due for a timing belt replacement soon. We can have the timing belt service done for you, however, this will come at an additional cost. The vehicle features a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2.9L V8 engine that included fuel injection for the first time as of 1980. The GTS version of the Ferrari 308 features a targa top that can easily be removed by a single person. While the Ferrari 308 had been around since 1975, an important change was made halfway through its production run. In 1980 Bosch K-Jetronic mechanical fuel injection was added on the 308 GTS (subsequently renamed 308 GTSi) which helped reduce its emissions. The Bosch fuel injection system was coupled to a Marelli MED 803A Digiplex electronic ignition system, incorporating a coil, distributor and ignition module for each bank of cylinders. Unlike the 308 GTSi it succeeded, the Quattrovalvole featured 4-valves per cylinder (quattrovalvole means "four valves" in Italian) which increased its power output to 240 hp and restored some of the performance lost to the emission control equipment of previous model years. We have the original owner's manual with some service stamps in it. This classic Ferrari is a significant piece of the company's rich heritage and would be a wonderful addition to any collection. Relisted : Buyers spouse disagreed about need for another Italian in the family. “The Ferrari is a dream – people dream of owning this special vehicle and for most people it will remain a dream apart from those lucky few” – Enzo Ferrari The 308 Quattrovalvole model was introduced in 1983 and adopted a 32-valve cylinder head. It features a 240 bhp, 2,926 cc DOHC 32-valve 90-degree V-8 engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, five-speed manual transmission with a clutch-type limited slip differential, independent front and rear A-arm suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers, 16 inch Speedline wheels and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Other changes for this model included a rear spoiler and additional louvers between the headlamps to aid with cooling. It was offered in both a coupe version and as an open-air model, the GTS, which boasted a targa-style removable roof panel that could be stowed behind the rear seats when not in use. Just 3,042 Spyders would be produced during its three-year model run. The 308 is most notable for playing a starring role in the 80's TV show Magnum, P.I. with actor Tom Selleck behind the wheel. The factory yellow with tan interior color combination on this example is extremely rare. The paint looks fantastic and the leather interior is in excellent shape considering its age. The audio system has been upgraded with the stock Alpine unit available at buyer’s request. Aesthetically, the car is stunning to look at and its visual condition is simply breathtaking. The GTS version of the Ferrari 308 features a targa top that can easily be removed by a single person. As expected, the car is garage kept and has an extensively documented service history. The service history along with parts, workshop and original owners manuals are included in the sale. The vehicle has been meticulously maintained and serviced regularly; with its most recent major service in August of 2012. I have owned this Red 1978 Ferrari 308 GTS for 25 years and have always taken great care of it and it has never been driven hard in my ownership. This is the Carbureted model (4-2 barrel Webers) NOT the fuel injected later replacement. 308s are known for being the most reliable Ferraris and one of the most beautiful designs of any car. These cars are quickly going up in value and I'm only selling it because I recently moved and have no place to store it at my new home. Always stored indoors. The 308 is located in Kokomo, IN and is available for inspection. It is the Classic Rosso Corsa Red with black interior. It is powered by a 3.2L V8 engine. Condition of the interior: The interior is in good condition for a vehicle of this age. The drivers seat has some wear. Please see photo and know it is not torn. Passenger’s seat is in excellent overall condition. The carpets are in good condition. This is a non-smoker car. The dash is free of any cracks, but has three small holes on the windshield side (see photo). The steering wheel is free from cracks and the leather is still in nice shape. The removable targa top headliner is excellent and is the original leather material. All gauge crystals are nice and the center console is in good condition. Glass is all in good condition and free of cracks. Condition of the exterior: The paint has great shine and is in excellent condition. There is one almost invisible blister on the headlight grates (see photo). The tires are nearly new, less then 1,000 miles OEM. The wheels are original and in good condition. Both bonnets open and close properly. Mechanics of the car: The turn signals, parking lights and power door locks work properly. Both headlamps go up and down with no problems. The low beams and brights work perfectly. The windows are slow which is typical of a Ferrari of this vintage. Timing belt, tensioners and all gaskets just replaced less then 100 miles ago. Fresh oil, filter and coolant. Additional Items: All manuals included. Original tool kit and jack are both in excellent condition and still in original leather wrapper. It always starts right up and drives great. Transmission shifts perfectly through all of the gears. Engine runs very smoothly and has plenty of power. It drives straight going down the road. It doesn’t pull to either side and brakes smoothly without pulling. The engine makes a beautiful sound. It revs freely and the steering is tight and true. The suspension is firm, but at some point will need new struts. I have a clear Indiana title with no lien. Buyer agrees to pay for this vehicle in Full before it and the title will be released.
