The leather is exceptional, dash is not shrunk and there are no stick parts, the only part that is not stock on this car is the audio system which was upgraded by the Ferrari dealer. It has complete service history from 10/2006 until now. The owner had the first 30k service performed by Ferrari of SF at 30,253 miles at which time they performed a head and valve job, AC compressor, new rear shocks, door program to fix sag on drivers and passenger, complete 30k service with water pump, audo upgraded for a grand total of $40855.88, then at 31,357 miles in 8/2010 Ferrari of San Francisco performed the 15k service with new timing and drive belts again for a total cost $6864.59, then at 31,560 miles in March of 2015 a second 30k and a third set of belts were done again along with a left front headlight motor, new guides and regulators for both windows, new power steering pump, new suspension pump, adjusted parking brake, recharged AC, front and rear bumpers repainted due to minor scuffs and new set of P ZERO's for a cost of $20541.95. Modern Ferrari V-12’s with a gated shifter are becoming hard to find, especially under $100K. The 456 GT was the Ferrari flagship in 1995 and is sure to become a collectible classic, if it’s not already. In September 2014, the editors of AutoBlog voted the 456 GT, “The best Ferrari from the 1990’s through today!” The competition included the Enzo and the LaFerrari and all Ferraris in-between! 1995 was the last year before the Federally-mandated OBDII system and there are no 1996 V-12’s. Some say the 1995’s 2.7 Bosch ECU is a better compromise than the Motronic 5.2 that followed, having less monitors that can cause spurious error signals. Bearing that out, this car has never failed an emissions test; often only testing at 1/20th of the allowable. With about 440 bhp and a top speed of almost 190 mph, all 456’s have the same performance, but many prefer the styling of the GT over the more muted “M” that followed. It also lacks the problematic immobilizer, traction control, FCS and other “improvements” of the later models. For example, the key blanks cost about $1.50 compared to hundreds for the later FOB’s. In short, simpler is often better. Many of its replacement parts are interchangeable with BMW, MB and other European cars and can be had at very reasonable prices. And, this particular car isn’t just any 456GT. It has yet to hit 19,000 miles and has just been through its major 5 year service. This Verde Mugello Metallicoa Ferrari (believed to be one of 11 made in that color) was also featured in a 2/28/14 Oppositelock article, “Ferrari 456 Driven: Cheap V12 Thrills.” Maybe not so cheap anymore, but you can search for the link. And, here are some comments from the end of that article: Holy f___, this car is GORGEOUS!!!! I absolutely LOVE the colour, looks green on my screen.VERY understated and classy, suits the shape to a "T." To top it all off, suede wrapped toolbox. F___ me. I'd be too afraid to touch this. But I could stare for hours...[as written, expletives deleted] Awesome! Awesome awesome awesome. Love the car, love the color… I love the car and color too! Great colour combo: I always liked v12 ferraris in unusual colours (dark blue, green, brown). I think the 456 is among the most beautiful Ferraris of all time. Yes, I said it. God what a pretty car. By far one of the most beautiful Ferraris. Just stunning in that color… Give me a Ferrari with that chrome shift gate over any of those new piddle paddles any day. I really do love the interiors on the mid-90s to turn of the century Ferraris, just analog and lovely... Gorgeous color, so refreshing to see a tasteful non-red Ferrari. The 456 is IMHO the last of the truly elegantly designed Ferraris. How this thing manages to be both aggressive and understated at the same time defies my ability to describe it. I think the 456 is one of the prettiest modern Ferraris and I'd love to have one… I just want the toolset. This 456 comes with service records, a spare tire(very unusual), complete leather-cased, suede-trayed tool kit, leather-cased owner’s, radio and man’t manuals, Ferrari trouble light in its plastic case and even the original Aquip tire inflater in its Styrofoam case (remember these things didn’t come originally with a spare!) All this makes the car as original as possible and ready for Concours judging. The first owner of 16 years had the car serviced at the Auto Gallery Ferrari dealership in LA. The second owner spent close to $30K at Steve Tillack’s Fast Cars, LTD in Redondo Beach having the mechanical totally sorted, but had to sell within 500 miles because of health reasons. The third owner (since 2012), a Mech Egr, sorted all the known issues, like window regulators, sticky parts, cooling, etc and things that the dealerships didn’t or couldn’t correct. But…Nice to know that a lot has been done in advance… Over all, Condition is Near Showroom perfect (the factory poor passenger leather airbag cover and some fraying of the factory center brake-light leather stitching being the exceptions; not particularly objectionable and not worth restoring at this point). Car is licensed and inspected until 6/16 in Texas. Clean Carfax, i.e., never in an accident or other issues, (email for copy or any other records desired). The stunning Pininfarina lines made a great impression on the public and production began in 1993 with an enormous amount of orders taken for the new car. In keeping with the tradition Ferrari began in 1966 with the 250GT 2+2, the new 456 Gran Turismo carried a breathtaking 5.5 litre V12 engine in the front and gearbox in the rear to keep with exceptional weight distribution and handling. For model year 1998 Ferrari revamped the line and introduced the 456M; M for Modification. The interior was completely redesigned giving passengers a far superior layout and space. Subtle front nose treatments were also given to the new M model for a more modern look. The Ferrari 456 continued on to model year 2003 and was the fastest production 2+2 of its time with a top speed of 188 miles per hour and a 0-60 time of 5.2 seconds. The car moved to Florida then Georgia with its third owner in 2007 until European Motor Studio brought the car to AZ. This 456M has a stunning paint finish which looks almost showroom condition aside from a few tiny stone chips in the front nose and one quarter size chip/clear coat peel on the front left wheel arch. The paint finish has a beautiful deep luster and completely free from any fade or damage. The body is completely straight and rust free, free from any dings or dents. The factory 5 spoke 456 wheels have just been re-chromed and look perfect. A brand new set of 4 tires have just been placed on the car. All of the original Ferrari glass is intact and in perfect condition. The interior of the this 456 is in stunning condition, the leather is still very soft and supple and shows almost no wear or creasing. The original carpets and floor mats are in excellent condition and in excellent condition. The leather dashboard is all original and still in beautiful condition free from any lifting or wrinkling. All of the original plastic components are free from the typical crinkling and sticky finish. The beautiful leather headliner is in exceptional unstained or unmarked condition and still soft to the touch. All of the electrical components appear to be in working condition, all of the lights, headlights, taillights, side marker lights, turn signals, reverse lights, interior lights, dash lights and trunk light are all working. The AC is ice cold and working on all fan speeds along with the heater. The original Ferrari radio is intact and working as well as the original Ferrari keyless entry remote. The 6 disc CD changer is the original unit and apears to be working. All power windows, locks, mirrors, remote trunk release and seats with memory are all functioning. Currently there are no warning lights on the dashboard. The car had its 30K major service done in June of 2012 at Ferrari Technologies in Orange County. All of the belts, seals, gaskets, filters, fluids, cam belt and pulleys, o-rings and cam cover gaskets were replaced as well as a brand new radiator and coolant hoses. A brand new thermostat, ABS pump and ABS pump computer module was just replaced at Ferrari of Scottsdale one week ago. The car is in exceptional running condition. It starts right up and does not smoke, it idles smoothly and accelerates beautifully. The transmission goes into gear without any hesitation and gear changes are smooth and free from any hesitation. The brakes are free from any fade or squeaking, and have about 60% brake life left. The suspension is still soft but firm and free from any squeaks or creaking. The car performs like a Ferrari should; it has seen the highest level of maintenance from only certified Ferrari technicians and has a complete service file from brand new. This 456 has the factory shields which are a beautiful touch. The original tool kit is untouched and still in its beautiful leather case as well as the tire repair kit and all of the original books and manuals in the leather binder. A copy of the original window sticker is present as well as the original pre delivery inspection report from Ferrari.
