Yes, the miles are real and original. A rare chance to buy one of Ferrari's most successful models that hasn't been driven much, and never driven hard. Original owner was 80 years old and rarely drove it, the current owner bought it from the estate and also rarely drove it. 100% original (with the exception of the radio), it even still has the original wheels and tires. The current wheels and tires were used in an effort to save the originals. Being 100% original it does have a few nicks and scratches so a personal inspection is recommended. Two main areas are the front spoiler and left rear fender, both shown in the photos. Interior features rare contrasting welt with a slight sign of wear on the edge of the drivers seat. All tools and original papers are included. All needed services were performed over the past 2 years so it runs and drives perfectly. The car has just come out of almost one year in the body shop where all rust was removed with new metal welded in where necessary and resprayed in the original color. Ferrari Classiche department letter included with the sale confirms the original build. Suspension: All new suspension has been installed including new Koni shocks, all new bushings, new ball joints, new tie rod ends, new sway bar bushings and drop link bushings. Sway bars, A arms and springs were sent out to be stripped and powder coated. New wheel bearings on all four wheels CV joints repacked. New bulkhead steering bush Brand new Michelin tires 205-70-14. Just completed 4 wheel alignment. Clutch: New AP Racing clutch with Hill Engineering throwout bearing and new carrier installed. Clutch cable has a new roller under the chassis. Engine: New timing belts and Hill Engineering tensioner bearings. New spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, oil filter and new gaskets for oil pan and transmission pan using upgraded sealing washers. A new hi torque starter installed. Exhaust was ceramic coating in gloss silver. New Hyperflow catalytic converters installed replacing the original burnt out units. Wife says I've had my fun, the Ferrari has to go. I bought it in January of 2009. I think I am the 3rd owner. I have driven it less than 1000 miles since then. Supposedly had new timing chain then. Paint looks good at 10 feet, up close some fading and scratches and repaint. Dash is good, but not pristine. Seats are serviceable, but need recovering. Tires are older, but full tread. Wheels were swapped out. I like the look. I have the originals which I will be selling separately. Original mufflers and tail pipe replaced with straight loud one. People know when you are coming! AC works but very weak. I have never used it as I always drive it with the top off. Have the original owners manual but few other papers. Second gear synchronizers weak. Shifts fine at low rpm or double clutching. This is not a show car, but a driver. Really fun. Whenever I stop for gas people come and take pictures. Clock does not work, but all other gauges are fine.Who cares what time it is when you are out having fun. Told you all the bad, but this is a really nice car. Better than most I looked at. You will drive it away with a full tank of gas! Actually, both tanks.
