We can help arrange shipping worldwide. 1979 Ferrari 308 GTB Chassis No. 25441 2-Owner Carbureted GTB- All History Known from New Outfitted with Dealer Installed Le Mans / Sprint Package Comprehensive Engine Rebuild in 2009 Complete with Original Books, Tools & Emergency Equipment Includes Original Weber Carburetors Well Documented With History and Service File 25441 was completed in September 1978 finished in Argento Chiaro Metallic over Red leather upholstery, and purchased new in Spring of the following year. In 1980, this Canadian native was sent to the Ferrari Distributor, Maranello Motors of Toronto to receive a rare dealer installed factory Le Mans / Sprint Package, which entailed performance wheels, tires, exhaust, pistons, cams, mag, carburetor and clutch components. At the same time, a repaint to its current Rosso exterior was performed. It was later purchased by a good friend of the first owner who always admired the car and would go on to own the Ferrari nearly its entire life. Always stowed away from inclement weather, the 308 received a complete and major engine rebuild in 2009 at nearly $30,000 CAD in invoices. During the rebuild, a new auxiliary plenum and carburetor was installed for ease of maintenance and performance, and although the original Webers were removed they are included with the sale. After the service was completed the car went into storage before we acquired. Today the car runs and drives with a feel of a strong motor and good handling although a service to the brakes and muffler is recommended. Additionally, this Berlinetta is complete with Original Books, Tools & Emergency Equipment. Completed in January of 1984 and sold new on May 1, 1984 through Wide World of Cars Inc. of Spring Valley, NY, this GTB Coupe wears a very classy Grigio paint over Black leather interior, equipped with air conditioning, power windows and power mirrors. Today, the coupe appears nicely presented overall with just over 52,000 recorded miles, the interior upholstery, undercarriage and stowage compartments remain tidy and free of concerns. An extensive file of records indicate that this particulary 308 has always been a very well maintained example by its previous caretakers. The cabin is comfortable with leather seating, trim and carpeting showing nearly as new, reupholstered with OEM materials only three years ago. All factory side glass is fitted with etchings. The Ferrari's body and paint show well with straight lines, excellent gaps displaying an older quality repaint. Nice original Campagnolo wheels compliment. The rear stowage compartment contains an original emergency pouch with jack and accessories. All original owner's manuals and booklets in pouch remain with the car.
