1950 Chevy Pickup Truck. Perfect blank Canvas for those of you that want a restoration project. Great shape for the age, little rust in across the body and is ready for that perfect paint restoration that will shine. Truck has not been driven in years however the engine has been replaced with a Chevy 350 with a turbo 400 transmission. The original dash is still in place with a modern steering wheel column that is currently disassembled. Aftermarket bucket seats are installed but it would look great with a nice leather bench. These trucks are great to use as advertisements and can be restored and worth money without putting too much work into them. The hard parts on this project car have already been performed!! THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. IT IS USED, OLD, AND NEEDS RESTORATION. Most of the info provided was from the last owner. I have verified that everything is as stated above. Very little rust and in great condition for a restoration. The truck is in Wall Township NJ and can be viewed within 24 hours of contacting me.

1950 Chevrolet 1 Ton Panel Truck (3800) This panel is very complete and mostly original. It has the original 17" split rims with spare also. It will be a great one to restore as the extended panels are rare and more versatile than the shorter versions. These look nice restored and are really not around much anymore. Included is a clear title. The body is very solid and has little rust overall. The body is better than it looks. The old brush paint job that has faded but you might be able to Scotch-Brite it down to the original finish and have an awesome patina look since the white paint may have protected the original Lacquer. People are paying $$$$ for that aged look and this may be the vehicle to get it from. You can do a lot with these panels and have mobile businesses out of them or have sleeping quarters in the rear and use them for tow rigs for your show or drag car. They also make nice parts running rigs for businesses and you have a large space to put your business name on the side. MECHANICAL: This has what I believe is the original six cylinder and appears complete except for the air cleaner. The engine runs, and sounds good. The panel is not drivable though. The fuel system will need cleaned and complete tune-up and fluid changes. It has ran on a gravity feed tank just long enough to test all the gears. This is a 4-speed manual with granny low. Clutch works fine. No brakes. It most likely needs the master cylinder but they most likely will need other work. Rolls and steers. Tires hold air. Hubcaps in pics are the original style but NOT included. I borrowed them of a different rig of mine for the pics. From what I see, the drivetrain is usable but will need to be checked out and tuneup work done due to it sitting for years. BODY: The panel does need to be restored, but the body is very solid for a project and has little rust. The front floorpans have the usual rust that these years all seem to have. It is minor though compared to most pickups of this vintage. It's only in the foot area, not under the seats. New pans are available at lots of restoration places. Hood and front fenders are nice. Doors are nice also but have rust on the inner metal, on the bottom but verticle metal. This is flat metal and should be an easy fix. Rear quarters/side panels are nearly rust free but each side has a spot between the front fender and the door. This is the low rocker type area and is a common bad spot on these. This panel is better than others I've seen though. Patch panels would be easy to make, but may be available. Minor rust spot behind drivers rear fender. There is a dent above the rear doors that needs to be fixed. Its not major, but doors won't close right because of it. Jams are nice besides that area. Wheelhouses are nice. Frame is rust free. Firewall, dash, and header are fine. Tons of restoration parts are sold for these including new chrome grilles, bumpers, etc. making restoration cheap and easy. Some parts off pickups work also. Windshields are cracked, as are side windows. This is flat glass and easy to replace. Rear windows are gone. INTERIOR: Very little to mention here besides that the interior does have the original front seats which is nice. They have been reaching close to $1000 here on eBay. Dash area appears original and steering wheel. OVERALL:These panels look great fixed up and can be used to haul a variety of things or used for advertising. I've also seen many made into rods that have sleeping quarters in the back and they make great tow rigs for hotrods or racecars. They are cool to use for mobile businesses and sell t-shirts or whatever out of the back at cars shows. Park out if front of your rod shop with your name on the side. There is a lot of room for a big ad! This was the second 1 ton Panel I Purchased for my business. I was going to restore it and use it, but I decided to just go with one for the time being. I have dealt with these larger 1 Ton panels before and they are really pretty easy to work on. There is plenty of room and space to do all the restoration. Some parts can be difficult to find, but the good news is everything is on this one and really just needs to be cleaned/fixed up. Let know if you have any questions. THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. IT IS USED, OLD, AND NEEDS RESTORATION. Most of the info provided was from the last owner. I have verified that everything is as stated above. Very little rust and in great condition for a restoration. I have a few shipping companies that I have dealt with, so I can help facilitate shipping and local delivery is available as well. Trailer not included The truck is in Bonsall, CA and can be viewed Tuesday-Saturday

The Truck is located in Longmont, CO 80504, very close to Boulder and Denver. It is at a storage yard on a car trailer. I will sell the whole truck/trailer set-up together or separate. I'm not 100% sure but I believe the trailer has 2 12,500lbs axles under it. The trailer is included with this auction. Let know if you have any questions. THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS. IT IS USED, OLD, AND NEEDS RESTORATION. Most of the info provided was from the last owner. I have not actually inspected this vehicle myself, but I believe everything that was detailed by him is accurate.
