It used the GM A platform, shared with the Chevrolet Deluxe. 1968 Chevrolet C-20 Pickup Truck with enclosed camper shell. Patina. Great Condition for its age She has served me for nearly 20 years (owned since 1997). Sad to see it go, but I need to give it a good, new home. Good, running vehicle used as daily driver. Has a light patina. Deserves a full restoration, but still performs like a champ for daily work. Some rust around cab roof seams. Needs new tires. One small dent on right front fender. Many recently replaced items. Engine: 327 cubic inch V8, rebuilt by current owner in 2000. 327 cubic inch V8, original model to vehicle, but not original engine block. Relatively low mileage; possibly around 60,000 miles. Runs well, has some valve guide wear on left cylinder bank. Some smoke upon starting. Clears up after a few minutes. Transmission: TH400 3 speed automatic transmission, replaced with torque converter in 2007 ¾ ton suspension 3.55:1 rear gearing, changed out from original 4.56:1 in 1999. Rear Wheel Drive Long bed with matching camper shell. Camper shell to cab seal leaks a little, as they all do. Pallets are handy in bed to keep items off the bed floor in case of rain. Galvanized steel rear bumper with trailer hitch. Solid aluminum-chrome aftermarket rims, great condition.
