This is my 1936 Chevy Pickup that I have owned for several years and have lost interest in. The truck was restored in the 80s by the previous owner who I purchased it from. The restoration is now showing its age {patina} the paint is checking and chipping. The truck was recently at the Adirondak Nationals in Lake George NY and Had a Great time. The truck isn't a Hot Rod [ but it could easily become one] or a Rat Rod it sort of falls into the FARMERS SON GOT A HOLD OF THE FARM PICKUP category! This is a fun truck to drive and gets every bodies attention The Engine ,Transmission 2 speed power glide and Rear end came from a 1971 Chevy nova which means the truck does highway speed ! The rest of the truck is still 1936 it is all steel !!!! The interior is brand new Ivory Leather and some wild upholstery. The wheels and tires are in new condition with about 3500 miles on them. The Truck runs and drives very well and can be driven anywhere [ it is very reliable] !!! The gas tank was replaced this year with a new poly tank and located in the factory location it was in the bed of the truck when I purchased it I guess there were no aftermarket parts available back in the 80s when the truck was restored. Frame off Restored 1952 Chevrolet Five Window Pickup 3100 series Short bed!! This is an excellent example of a Frame off Rotisserie Restored 1952 Chevrolet five window 3100 series short bed pickup truck! This truck is absolutely gorgeous from top to bottom with attention to detail during the restoration process. The body is laser straight with an excellent fit & finish and the paint is show quality with a mirror like finish! There are a few minor upgrades such as power front disc brakes, electric windshield wipers and electric turn signals but the truck still retains the stock look. This is an excellent driving truck with a correct 235 straight six with split manifold with true dual exhaust that runs strong and handles well which makes it a pleasure to drive. The pictures do not do it justice for this pickup truck.

We bought this last year from the second owner (a retired US military officer who had the same type truck when new) who completely restored the truck from a bare frame, nearly all original components were retained, blasted to metal then refinished in original colors & rebuilt, or replaced as required. The engine had been replaced in 1993 with a correct L-48/350, this was freshly rebuilt for this restoration to the original 260HP spec. Stock exhaust manifolds ceramic coated with custom all stainless exhaust on back. Front brakes are disc. Full records and photos of the restoration are present. Various records (titles/transfers, service & repair etc.) back to original owner present. Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, original owners manual, dealer delivery documents all present. There is also a shop service manual, and wiring diagram. The truck looks, feels and runs great. Our restored cars are garage kept and rigorously maintained. This has had regular all season use in the past year amounting to about 4000 miles since restored. Just last week it's been prepped for winter with full service, Bridgestone W965 Blizzak light commercial truck, 10 ply studless ice & snow tires, and a 2x6 brace across the bed at the wheel wells that keeps the 300 lbs of sand over the rear axle and makes nice compartments to prevent things sliding around the bed. The Alpine cd - Bluetooth - iphone / smartphone - satellite - HD stereo, and speakers are mounted on custom brackets which use existing fasteners so no holes were drilled for this installation. Original AM radio also works. As right & ready as the truck is, it doesn't accommodate a child seat too well (and not at all legally), can be a lot to handle in the city, and the boys mother is fed up with me using her car too much. I need to make a change. Open to similar quality trade - up, down or sideways value. Of course a cash sale is welcome too.
