One of a Kind! 1963 Chevy Corvair Greenbrier Full Custom Van This is a gorgeous, full custom Greenbrier. Staying true to the rear engine design, she has been updated to a late style 3.8L V-6 and Automatic transaxle from a Monte Carlo SS. The modern powertrain disappears into the back, under the flooring not unlike the original. Everything in this beautiful, straight and rust free Greenbrier has been restored and refinished. The original body of this van was in excellent condition, she had some patina but was straight and again no rust. Everything works as it should in this beauty. All of the doors open and close solidly and are perfectly aligned. And all of the side glass rolls up and down, again very smoothly! The interior is absolutely gorgeous. The seats are from the donor Monte Carlo and are powered. The fit and finish is show car quality in every way. · California Orange Tri Coat Paint · Pearl White Top & Bumpers · 3.8 Fuel Injected V6 From A 2003 Monte Carlo SS · 4 Speed Automatic W/ OD From ‘03 Monte Carlo SS · Engine & Trans Have 70,000 Miles on them · New 19" Wheels & Tires · Rear Disc Brakes (non Power) · Independent rear Suspension & Monte Carlo Subframe · Complete Front Suspension Rebuild · New Control Arm Bushings · New Springs & Ball Joints, Tie Rods, Idler Arms, Sleeves, (Etc) · 4 Way Alignment Perfectly in Specs · Powder coated Front Sub Frame · Front Disc Brake Conversion · New Halogen Headlamps · Led Tail Lamps · New Shaded Windshield & Gasket · New Window Wipes Inner & Outer All The Way Around · Limo Tint In The Rear Lighter Tint In Front · 400 Watt Stereo System 4 Speakers & 2 Tweeters · Drop Down DVD Player In Rear · Complete Custom Interior · Grant Steering Wheel · Vintage Air Heater (W/O) AC · Power Driver Seat · XM Radio Dock · New Door Seals All Around · New Window Seals All Around · Custom Gauges Mounted In Original Cluster · All Locks are keyed the same and all work · All windows work as they should · Large Truck Radiator & Dual Fans Activated by the ECM · Has a Dent in the Rear Subframe (no effect on Drive Ability) This is an extremely cool machine! Very nicely finished and a blast to drive, she is ready to show or play. She always gets huge thumbs up from everyone that sees her! A great, fun classic that is truly a one of a kind! I have lots of other pictures of her. Runs and rives like a new vehicle, tight and smooth. Just a real sweetheart in every way!!! Call me at (541) 419-0531 for more information on this beautiful Custom Cruiser Van! Chevrolet introduced a more utilitarian style of the Corvair in 1961 under the model designation "Corvair 95", (because of the vans 95 inch wheelbase). In appearance and design the vehicles were similar to the competing Volkswagen Transporter, which was essentially a “bus” adaptation of the Volkswagen Beetle that moved the driver over the front wheels, also commonly defined as a cab over vehicle. The Greenbrier normally had windows all around and six doors. The Greenbrier seated up to nine people with the available third-row seat. Although the Greenbriers were a limited success, passenger vans would continue to evolve through full-sized vans. The similarly sized 7-8 passenger would become a successful vehicle segment by the 1980s as alternatives to station wagons. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE
