Hi, you are viewing a Show Quality 1961 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 Coupe with a 4-Speed. This is probably one of the nicest Corvairs in the country. The last owner Completely Restored this car for his wife and then she rarely drove it. You honestly could not restore a Corvair to the Quality Level of this car for more than twice the amount that I am selling this car for. The reason that very few Corvairs get restored to this level is because they don't command the huge money that old restored Corvettes, Camaros, etc... do when brought to this condition level, so in turn, very few Corvairs are in this high quality state. I think that is slowly changing though, especially considering how few are this nice. And they are so fun to drive too, this car reminds me very much of one of my old Porsche 911's, only better in my opinion (and why old 911's are 10 times the price I will never understand, of course most 911's are kept in nicer shape, like this Corvair is) . Both 911's and Corvairs are Air Cooled Flat Sixes and Rear Engine and Handle Great. Most people don't realize how low these cars are for handling and how well built these are. The doors open and close with such a quality sound and feel. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive and is extremely tight and solid with no rattles and handles superbly and absorbs the bumps beautifully. This Corvair really needs to be driven to truly appreciate it. The last owner got this car from a man who had a fully restored and just rebuilt 1962 Corvair that got into an accident and was ruined just after getting it on the road after the restoration. He then bought THIS Rust-Free Arizona 1961 Corvair and planned on switching the 1962 just rebuilt drivetrain with a Four-Speed into THIS 1961 automatic car and then completely restoring it. That owner never got to it, so he sold both cars to the man I bought this car from and he then switched the drivetrains and finished the car with a Complete Restoration. And what a job he did, WOW, is about all you can say. You can also tell by the incredible Original Rust-Free Body and Underbody how great this car was to begin with. He even installed a few 1962 trim pieces that look better than the 1961 pieces (like the better looking taillight bezels). The Body and Paint of this Corvair is truly nicer than when these Corvairs were new in 1961. All of the Chrome and Stainless Trim is truly exceptional. The cost of just all that alone is a lot of money. This car is also shines Mechanically. It runs, shifts, drives, steers, stops, just Beautifully. All of the electricals, speedometer, and gauges work (fuel gauge acts strange sometimes) and it has an added CD Stereo (with Great Sounding Speakers) for even more enjoyment cruising. The condition of the Interior is Absolutely Gorgeous and Must Be Seen To Be Believed. The back seat also folds down and that whole fold-down area is also fully restored. This car has a Great Original Color Combination too. This Corvair also has a new Clarks Corvair Performance Exhaust System and 4 Brand New Tires. Overall, this car is pretty much like having a new 1961 back in 1961 again, with literally everything being restored or new, except that the paint and body didnt look quite this good in 1961 ! When I take this car out for a drive EVERYBODY that sees it just walks up and says, WOW, I have never seen a Corvair in that condition ! This car gets More Attention than most of my Much More Expensive Collector Cars. This really is a LOT of Collector Car for the money ! I am selling a couple of cars out of my collection for a real-state transaction and I appreciate you reading this. If you have any questions feel free to ask and please ask any you have before making an offer, and PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE 100% serious offers only , Thank You !!

1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa *We can assist with shipping at a very reasonable rate. Door to door service* Description: This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa is a fantastic looking car with performance and handling to match. The Corvair second generation arrived for model year 1965, noted for its lack of a “B” pillar and a new fully independent suspension replacing the original swing axle rear suspension. The Corvair used coil springs at each wheel. The Corsa came standard with an instrument panel featuring a 140 mph speedometer with resettable trip odometer, a 6,000 rpm tachometer, cylinder head temperature gauge, analog clock with a sweeping second hand, a manifold vacuum/pressure gauge and fuel gauge. A much better heater system, larger brakes borrowed from the Chevelle, a stronger differential ring gear, a Delcotron alternator (replacing the generator), and significant chassis refinements were made. Interior: The interior is all black with new carpet and custom seats with yellow striping. All of the gauges and lights are in proper working order and everything from the dashboard to the headliner is in excellent condition. Exterior: The body on the Corvair is in excellent condition and has custom pin striping throughout to add that unique touch. The rear-engine design offered packaging and economy advantages, providing the car with a lower silhouette, flat passenger compartment floor, removing the need for power assists, and offered improvements in ride quality, traction , and braking balance. The design also attracted customers of other makes, primarily imports. The Corvair stood out, with engineering significantly different from other American offerings. Drivetrain: The Corvair Corsa is powered by a 180 HP turbocharged flat six that is paired to a 4-speed transmission. It has a new clutch, new tires, recent front and rear end alignments, and the suspension and brakes have been gone through completely. It runs and drives phenomenally and needs nothing. Key Facts: New clutch New tires Recent front and rear end alignments New carpet and custom seats Turbocharged engine

Offered for sale are TWO 1963 Chevy Corvair project cars. Neither car runs - or has ever - in my 12+ years of ownership. Both roll and are transportable in their condition. The main car, the convertible needs a restoration - but is very restorable. It will need a patch-panel or two - but not many. The floors have been patched, but not properly or professionally. Sheet metal was screwed to the floor after the rusted metal was removed. These panels are available. The seat are in good condition, not sure if they are original. Trunk is NOT rotted out - but rusty. The convertible top was rotted out when I received the car - so I cut the remains out. The frame is good. It appears to be a manual top - by the absence of any electrical switch under the dash. The five (5) rims have been media-blasted and powder coated blue (I intended to make the car a blue-on-blue, which I think the exterior was originally). They have brand new, zero mile, steel belted radials on all five wheels. The second car is also a 1963, but a coupe and a 'Spyder' with a 150 HP Turbo motor and a four speed transmission. My aim was to swap the Turbo/4-speed combo into the convertible while doing the restoration needed. Shipping of both vehicles is the responsibility of the buyer, but the seller will assist with the coordination, in anyway possible. $500 deposit within 48 hours of the close of the sale. Remainder due within 7 days.

The engine runs well and the transmission shifts smoothly as it should, brakes, suspension, electrical all intact and functional. I will try to describe as best I can. Up for sale is my 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa Turbo Convertible. I purchased it about two years ago and have not done a whole lot to it. Prior to my purchase it had a frame up ( NOT FRAME OFF ) restoration. It is good condition but not a true show car. Great weekender. I have taken it to local shows with rave reviews. A true show car would be more than twice this price. I had the shifter tightened so the gears line up a bit better and a new wiper motor added because the ones that come with the vehicles are so slow as to be useless. There are a few paint chips. Three or four and no dings. The boot cover for the roof, when down, is probably original but is in pretty bad shape. Top operates as it should & locks both up or down. Photos tell most of the story other than that. Contact me at (904) 759-0504 - Richard

For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1966 Chevrolet Corvair. The Corvair from Chevrolet came at a time when America\'s auto makers were producing one size of vehicle, large. Seeing the trend start to unfold in the late 50\'s towards smaller more economical imports, Chevrolet jumped on the design bandwagon to bring their own flavor to the lineup. Built to compete against foreign competitors such as the Type 3 VW and Fiat 1300 the Corvair also held its own with domestic offerings such as the Ford Falcon and Plymouth Valiant. In 1960 the first Corvairs were well received by the press and the general public for its engineering, style, and performance. Providing a plethora of firsts for GM such as uni body construction, 4 wheel independent suspension, and air cooled flat 6 cylinder engine it\'s easy to see why this was the Motor trend car of the year for 1960. The Corvair we have in our Orlando showroom is a wonderfully restored example of the Monza version. Packing a 110hp air cooled flat 6 engine in the back the Corvair was hailed at the \"poor man\'s Porsche\", the performance of the Corvair revolved around light weight and exceptional handling. This silver monza definitely has a great amount of street appeal that gets plenty of attention. The Corvair is a breed that was unfortunately saddled in controversy which makes their numbers small and highly desirable. Treated to a recent restoration the interior and paint on this Monza are stunning in the sunlight and definitely are an eye catching combo. The 2 speed automatic transmission shifts great and you can feel plenty of pep from the 110hp all aluminum flat six in the rear. Located in our Orlando Showroom this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. ULTIMATE SLEEPER CAR Up for sale is a unique and One of a Kind Corvair Monza. This car is the ultimate sleeper!!! Corvair Body was mounted on Trans Am Sub frame. The car retained all Trans-Am Equipment. The engine is now upfront and a pan has been installed to make a trunk. The Trans Am gas tank is in place. The filler neck is under the trunklid in the trunk area. This is a 403 V8. Nothing was done to modify the engine (crank, rods, pistons, cam all stock) but some goodies were added like an aluminum intake, edelbrock 750, headers, straight dual exhasut. Chrome valve covers and chrome air cleaner cover to add some style. The transmission was rebuilt, the car has disc brakes up front, drum brakes out back, new ralley rims, newer BF Goodrick tires all around. Handles tight, paralel parking is a breeze with power steering and the TransAM quick ratio steering. Has brand new power brake booster and master cylinder so bringing this car to a quick stop is not a problem. It can be a daily driver if you desire, everything works. For me it's just a get around errand car that has served me well for almost a year. Probably would run better with a tune-up but since I don't drive it everyday I have not gotten around to doing it. The car is in Florida. Miami to be exact. It still has it's California plates because I have not yet transferred to me. That said, I will transfer to me if the winner wants to make sure I am the owner. Not a problem there. If you have less than 10 on your feedback please contact me before bidding. This car comes with no warranty, expressed, written or implied. It is an old car and one of a kind at that. I have added some videos of the car so that everyone can see it is a running driving car. I am running an auction with the ability to make an offer rather than bid up. I am not into those games. I need to sell the car but I own't be giving it away. This will be the last time advertised on e-bay as the fees are getting out of control. If it doesn't sell this time around I will only list locally. I can help deliver the car anyway in Florida and will also meet potential buyer on Florida State line if you live on the East Coast. That might help some of you with the shipping charges. Thanks for looking at my auction. Good luck to all. Please understand that I work everyday and have no access to internet during the day so if you need answers to questions or pictures of the car I can send but only after 7 pm Eastern Standard Time. On Jun-21-15 at 22:13:08 PDT, seller added the following information: For the many requests received to show additional photos of the body of the car and for those wanting to know if this is a driver. Here are some videos you can see that answers many of the questions received. Thank all of you for your interest. https://youtu.be/P9c0iRshgb4 https://youtu.be/aWzUqS-SoCA https://youtu.be/v_stxPw5-Ag https://youtu.be/KeB3sXlj5hI

YS303 represents a real piece of American Muscle Car and Yenko Racing History. Like all Yenko Stingers originally were, this one is in the factory colors: white with wide blue stripes. She looks as pretty as she also looks like she means serious business. The six-cylinder engine uses four carburetors delivering about 200 hp, with a four-speed manual transmission. All the chrome, both inside and out, is in excellent condition. The interior is beautiful but austere with the rubber floor, bucket seats with 5pt harnesses, a significant roll bar and racing badges are all of which are amazing. The vehicle, chassis No. YS303 is listed in the Yenko Stinger registry. It's one of the few rare-certified CS cars to exist today. It has 53,709 miles. everything works. The radio is an aftermarket unit a original radio could be refitted if desired. Yenko Stinger YS303 Is one of the most documented CS Yenko Stingers, originally owned by J. Bristow and later acquired by Al Huston who spent over 25 years loving this beautiful CS Stage 1 Yeanko Stinger. Al has been credited with owning and maintaining one of the nicest Yenko's in existence, during Al's ownership YS303 became one of the most well known Stingers YS303 was often seen at Corvair and other various classic sports car events, much is noted in his log book. This amazing car is now for sale. The car is road/race set up. It features competition prepared cylinder heads topped by Zenith 40TIN Triple Throat Carbs, Yenko Stinger lightened flywheel with 1500 pound pressure plate and Kevlar disc, ~9.8 compression ratio. Four spider diff with minimal end yoke play and 3.27 gears. Heim jointed lower bars. Stainless brake flex lines with dual line master cylinder. Aluminum drums in front. Quick steering arms. Five point seat belts. 13X7” steels wheel with 205-60X13 Sumitomos. Auxiliary oil cooler with custom spin-on filter adapter. Custom air cleaner unit housing is modified to draw from the fresh air plenum behind the rear window instead of through stock rear-facing snorkels and Saginaw transmission. The condition of this car needs to be seen to be fully appreciated and driven to realize the outstanding mechanical and performance this car puts out. These cars are very rare, this car is one of the few certified continuation cars in the world today. The Yenko Stinger was tuned by legendary hot-rodder Don Yenko, who was looking to beat Carroll Shelby and his Mustangs in Sports Car Club of America races. The Chevrolet Corvair was never recognized as a prominent performance machine, but that didn’t stop Don Yenko from wanting to go racing with it. Yenko entered it in SCCA racing events, but in order for it to qualify at least 100 of the cars had to be modified for production-spec racing. The modified cars became known as the Yenko Stinger, and very few of those, as well as a handful of the post 100 cars, or continuation series CS cars, are in existence today. Now you have the rare opportunity to own one of the nicest CS Yenko Stinger examples available anywhere. Al Houston helped update the listing with the pertinent information. Thanks Al! The couple relay loved the car and chipped away at it along the way to make it nicer and nicer with each season. It's been finished and enjoyed for a couple of seasons and is ready for the next owner to take over. All the work is done and all that is needed is someone to look after it. The paint is near flawless, the interior is great looking, no known issues anywhere. Fully functional and very fast. Engine and turbo both rebuilt. Clutch replaced. Drives like it did back in "66 and "67. The bottom of the car is all original and rust free. Don't delay car is a great deal!
