Hello to all Ebayers! I have very little feedback but I've been with EBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation with EBay at 100%. I bought this car with the intention of bringing it to California but I currently do not have enough storage to hold onto it. I really like the color combination which is why I bought this car. I recently lost a storage location so I'm not able to keep this one. I have not seen the car myself and these pictures are approximately 2 months old. I am willing to let it go at a very reasonable price. This Corvair is located in a Copart facility in Austell, Georgia. I have a clear Indiana title that will be mailed to the buyer. PRICED TO SELL !!! Here is the description I have from the previous owner: "For Sale is a a project I had been working on since 06. This is not a rust-free car. The body looks great. Underneath has some imperfections but nothing major and it is derivable. Car runs and drives strong. This Corvair has a 4 speed manual transmission. Shifts great and clutch works great. Doors shut smoothly. It has been on the road for around 5 years. I rebuilt the brakes. Has updated electric charging Alternator . Convertible Top is new. Seats are new. Carpet is new, I installed fiberglass pans front and back. The wheels are 14' Nissan Iron Crosses, tires are excellent. Comes with a few extra parts, like Hub Caps, lens's, starters, heater parts, more red carpet, etc." This is your chance to own this Chevy Corvair for a very reasonable price. If you'd like to contact me send me an Ebay Message with your phone number and I can contact you. Otherwise feel free to ask questions through Ebay Message. I want to make sure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Please bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, please don’t hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your phone number and I will give you a call. I will help arrange shipping. You can try United Auto Transport for shipping. They’re a very reliable company. Call 800-963-5505 to receive a quote for transport. I’m able to store it for a couple of weeks after purchase is made if you need time lining it up. Keep in mind she’s over 50 years old. I’m not a dealer, just passionate about classic cars and trucks. Please be ready to buy when you click. A non refundable $500 deposit is due at purchase and final payment within 7 days. Balance is to be paid by wire or a certified bank cashier’s check. Check will need to clear before the car will be released and title is sent. The winning bidder needs to contact me within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. Please arrange all financing prior to bidding. If you are not sure about something please ask! Do not assume anything. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to EBay. General Information: The information that I have is from the previous owner. It is your responsibility to inspect the car or send a third party inspector for your satisfaction. Remember this is a 51 year old car and can have some imperfections that are not in the description that I am not aware of. As with most pre-owned vehicles, minor wear may be discernible and degree of wear is often related to age of the vehicle such as but not limited to: scuffs, scratches, dings, dents, fading, paintwork, minor rock chips, and other imperfections. This is your chance to own this great classic.

1963 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible w 79,500 miles. This car is in good running condition. I drive it about once a week and get get compliments every time I take it out or drive back onto base. I've owned the car for about a year and had my mechanic put some work into it:Rebuilt both carbsReplaced generator w/ alternator (starts up much better now)Replaced points and condensersReplaced ignition coil New air filterTop was replaced before I purchased car Notes: Temp press light comes on after a while. Mechanic recommended upgrading brakes to disc brakes. Also recommended converting ignition to electronic ignition thus eliminating points and condensers, which are prone to failure. Radio is not plugged in; not sure if it works. I'll try to answer any questions the best I can. I'm moving in couple months which is why I'm looking to sell. Love the car and would like to have more time and knowledge to work on it myself. Just isn't practical for me to ship the car across the country where I'm moving to. Buyer is responsible for setting up shipping or local pickup. When I bought the car I used a shipping broker to arrange pickup and it worked out great. Selling as is, no warranty.

Seriously, for $14,000, you can have a car that has a classic look, a top that goes down, and entertaining road manners, and everyone else will think you know something they don't. How cool is that? The pale yellow paint looks great on the convertible Corvair, the perfect summertime color for a car practically designed for fair weather only. There's a strong contingent of guys out there who love these cars and with their unique styling, it's easy to see why. Radical at the time, the design has aged rather well and the creased sheetmetal and bright chrome accents give it a vintage look that most folks will stop and admire as it drives past. The older finish shines up nicely for that Sunday afternoon car show and aside from a little bad prep in the door jambs, it looks quite good. We suspect this car has spent its life down south here, because there are none of the telltale signs of winter weather evident inside or out, and while it's not perfect, the overall condition suggests this car has always been loved. The trunk rack is actually kind of sporty and even perhaps practical, while the rest of the bright trim shines up well. Surely at some point in its life, the interior of this Corvair has been replaced, because the pewter-colored upholstery is just too nice to be original Or is it? Hard to say, but it looks great with supportive bucket seats, nice carpets, and stylish door panels that show a lot more detail than you'd expect from a car at this price point. The rear-mounted engine makes for an interesting dashboard with a totally flat floor beneath it, and the wood-rimmed steering wheel adds some welcome warmth to the cabin. Accessories include a dash-mounted clock up top and an AM/FM radio in the dash. Custom floor mats appear to have been created just for the unique Corvair floor pan and the back seat will accommodate adults for short trips and kids all day. Overhead, a tan convertible top seals up well and has a crystal clear rear window and a matching boot is included. The forward trunk is impressively spacious, especially with the trunk stowed back in the engine bay, and a new dual master cylinder was recently installed for safety. Chevy's radical air-cooled flat-six makes the lightweight Corvair an entertaining drive with decent handling, Ralph Nader notwithstanding. Twin carburetors add a few horsepower and it still makes electricity using the original 12-volt generator. With a low center of gravity, it certainly helps in the handling department and with the weight in the back, power steering is obviously not needed. The floors are in good shape, which is critical since they make up the backbone of the car, and the 2-speed PowerGlide transmission makes for an effective driving partner in the easy-to-drive Corvair. Steel wheels with factory wire wheel covers give it a period look and are fitted with recent 185/80/13 Goodyear radials. This is a great find for Corvair fans and an awesome way to get into the hobby without dropping a ton of cash. No, you don't have to settle for a 1973 Maverick with a rod knock, you can get this neat little 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza convertible, which comes complete with a manual gearbox and an energetic attitude that makes it a lot of fun to drive. There's been nothing else like the Corvair before or since, unless you count the Porsche 911, which is some pretty heady company. Now, we're not saying the Corvair is a 911 alternative, but we are saying that if you're a fan of the unusual, the funky, and the off-beat, the Corvair should appeal to you. And even if you're a bit more mainstream, the Corvair is now an icon, and like when it was new, it offers style, practicality, and economy in equal measure. The Ermine White finish looks great on the trim convertible bodywork and it has a great 1960s look that remains appealing today. We don't know when it was restored, but it was clearly freshened at some point and today presents as a nice driver-grade car. There's no shame in that, and the current owner used it as daily transportation, which should also tell you a lot about its reliability. Cars up north tended to rust in the most demonic ways possible, but this one, with its good southern roots, looks to be in good order with decent panel alignment, shiny chrome trim, and a classic look that gets attention all out of proportion to its affordable sticker price. The stylish black interior was likewise restored at some point, and today shows a nice bit of patina that makes you want to jump in and go without a second thought. The carpets were probably replaced at the same time, since they're just too nice to be originals, particularly in a convertible, and the dash pad is in great shape. There are a few flashes of bright trim on the door panels and dash, offering a very 1960s look that fits the car perfectly. An AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit has been retrofitted into the dash and there's a CB unit underneath, giving you some idea of when this car's heyday really was. The rear-mounted engine makes for nice flat floors that gives the interior plenty of room for everyone and the forward-mounted trunk actually offers a great deal of space for your gear. It's also got a very nice-fitting black power convertible top that makes open-air motoring only seconds away; just imagine leaving work on a summer afternoon and having this waiting for you in the parking lot! The 145 cubic inch flat-six engine has a unique sound and manages to move the sporty little convertible without seeming to work very hard. It's tucked in there low under the spare tire (which is brand new, by the way) and runs great. These were reliable cars when they were new, and thanks to proper care, this one seems ready to go any time. There's not much to look at, but the winding fan belt and original generator are interesting to look at and with a 4-speed, performance is entertaining. It also comes with a fully independent suspension, so handling is good for the era as long as you're familiar with its quirks. The underside is in good shape, which is as critical here as on any car, and it's affordable to maintain with modest 185/80/13 whitewall radials on original wheels with wire wheel covers. Nobody will guess how affordable this neat ragtop really is when you're driving down the road and nothing sold in showrooms today can match its vintage style. Have owned this vehicle for eight years and have enjoyed it immensely. Was daily driver for two years when I lived 3 miles from work. Cranks immediately, runs smooth, no oil burn, pinging, or any engine issue as most of engine has been rebuilt. Next, would probably add rebuilt original radio, but again...not necessary. This car is fifty one years old, and has some paint dings, small scratches, etc.

Vehicle Information VIN: 105378W108319 Stock: 2190-ATL Mileage: 22,792 Color: Maroon Trans: Manual Engine: MPG: Drivetrain: Description Forget all that Ralph Nader nonsense, because this 1968 Chevrolet Corvair Monza hardtop is the sporty car that GM wanted to build from the start. No spooky handling, plenty of power from the air-cooled flat six hanging out back (sound familiar?), and an interior thats got plenty of Camaro DNA running through it, all for less than the price of the smallest, most boring economy car you can buy today. The Corvair got a bad name early on, and that was surely part of why it didnt survive, but if you read the enthusiast press of the period, they flat-out LOVED this car. By 1968, all the bugs had been worked out and the restyle a few years earlier had transformed the awkward-looking early Corvairs into a sleek, sporty coupe that wouldnt look out of place next to a Corvette or Camaro. This one was originally green, but at some point it got an appealing burgundy metallic paint job that highlights its sporty nature. Finish quality is decent, with a few flaws here and there and some signs of use, but at this price, nobodys going to complain. A chin spoiler works with a Camaro-esque ducktail spoiler on the rear deck lid to give this neat little car a very aggressive demeanor. The chrome bumpers look good, theres a bit of stainless brightwork to add some interest, and the overall look is of a car thats been properly enjoyed with many years to go. The interior is a neat place to hang out, and the first thing youll notice is the totally flat floors that make it feel spacious inside. Black bucket seats are not especially fancy, but they do have a handsome pattern that gives the affordable Corvair an upscale look. The wood-rimmed wheel isnt authentic but warms up the otherwise monochromatic passenger compartment a bit, and you do get a fully array of instruments, including a factory tach. A long T-handle Hurst shifter manages the 4-speed manual gearbox, which is the enthusiasts best choice in a Corvair. Theres also an AM/FM/cassette stereo in the dash that sounds decent and makes this a fun car to drive every day. And unlike its German competition, theres a good-sized trunk up front, which also houses the dual-reservoir master cylinder. The 164 cubic inch flat-six engine sits low in the chassis out back and inhales through a set of four 1-barrel carburetors to make a very sporting 140 horsepower. It starts with a characteristic wooshing of the big fan in the middle, and out on the road makes plenty of torque to have fun with some much bigger cars. Handling is the Corvairs strong suit once GM sorted out the underpinnings, and the fully independent suspension rides over bumps like a hovercraft and hangs on in corners like a sports car. Brakes are reasonably effective, particularly since the cars so light, and the twin exhaust systems give it a throaty sound that youll enjoy when you blip the throttle. The body pans are in good order and slightly oversized Rally wheels look right and allow the use of fatter 195/75/14 front and 215/70/14 rear radials to give it a little bit of a rake. Outfitted the way an enthusiast would want it, this neat Corvair promises fun all out of proportion with its price tag. Perhaps you should look more closely, because theres a very good reason why Corvairs are so beloved by their owners. Call today! Vehicle Information VIN: 30967W243004 Stock: 2014-ATL Mileage: 17,364 Color: Yellow Trans: Automatic Engine: MPG: Drivetrain: Description Look at how much vintage convertible you can get for so little cash with this 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza. Seriously, for $14,000, you can have a car that has a classic look, a top that goes down, and entertaining road manners, and everyone else will think you know something they dont. How cool is that? The pale yellow paint looks great on the convertible Corvair, the perfect summertime color for a car practically designed for fair weather only. Theres a strong contingent of guys out there who love these cars and with their unique styling, its easy to see why. We suspect this car has spent its life down south here, because there are none of the telltale signs of winter weather evident inside or out, and while its not perfect, the overall condition suggests this car has always been loved. The trunk rack is actually kind of sporty and even perhaps practical, while the rest of the bright trim shines up well. Surely at some point in its life, the interior of this Corvair has been replaced, because the pewter-colored upholstery is just too nice to be original Or is it? Hard to say, but it looks great with supportive bucket seats, nice carpets, and stylish door panels that show a lot more detail than youd expect from a car at this price point. Chevys radical air-cooled flat-six makes the lightweight Corvair an entertaining drive with decent handling, Ralph Nader notwithstanding. Call today!
