car is in cottonwood az 100 miles north of phxMy story I have semi-restored this 1962 Corvair Greenbrier recently lost my job and must sell this project to pay my billsMY CELL PHONE NUMBER 323--434--7445 This car runs and drives has misfire at idle speed does not stall or do anything harmfull just a small miss fire at stop lights and stop signs the alternator may need to be replaced in order for the problem to go away I bought a brand-new alternator and will be including the with the van. Could need new wiring harness or a new distributor under $30 fix to fix the miss time I acquired this car down in Phoenix back in 2009 the van was in condition when I purchased it it was missing interior pieces engine transmission the color of it at that time was brown. Over the past four years I have repainted the exterior redid the brakes purchased brand-new tires for it. Rebuilt the whole engine including new engine block reconditioned cylinders reconditioned heads brand-new set of rings and gaskets and oil pan. Over these last couple of years I’ve also rebuilt the transmission works flawlessly. The paint job is white with a red stripe was done correctly over course of three weeks. Overview this is the classic vintage Chevy van that would make a nice daily driver body is very straight lots of new partsMost of the hard work has been done just in the few finishing touches to make a nice driver out of it. The Deluxe option added chrome bumpers, 2-tone paint, windshield trim, sun visors and tailgate reflectors. Fit and finish is concours quality throughout. Lights, lenses, grill, emblems - all like new. The tinted glass is all original and in incredible condition with no scratches, chips or spotting. Totally restored interior in perfect condition. At some angles the seat fabric takes on a metallic sheen that picks up on the exterior color on this truck. The seatbelts were restored and rewebbed. These were made only for Corvettes and FC (Forward Control) Corvairs from'63-'65. Underdash and seatback area present as new. The truck has all new wiring; every switch, gauge and knob operates correctly. Strict attention to detail everywhere you look. The bed was restored to the same standards as the rest of the vehicle. The load rating for the ramp is 1000lbs. A great idea that never caught on. The entire drivetrain was completely rebuilt as well as all of the other components: hydraulics, fuel, electrical, suspension. Nothing was overlooked, no shortcuts were taken.
