nice 1982 Volkswagen rabbit pickup has primer in colour body work under way has had a lot done already needs finish has new frt bearings and head gasket and used head installed and timing belt interior is still nice odometer and gauges all work needs a new alternator not charging had checked all that's wrong no more time or money so selling clutch good all new brake lines has some rust few of the big spots already fixed crack in windshield new frt calipers tires in frt new rear about a year old drives straight down the road still smokes a bit even after the new head but there was some light corioson in the cylinders that probably are holiding a liitle oil thus the light burn might clean up in time also needs a set of taillights this is a progect can be driven with a few small things but should be towed to new home I have a towbar I will throw in for a extra 150 if someone wanted it it mounts right to the bumper and is already drilled as I used it on this truck a few times in the past comes with a spare and a few exra parts as well used alternator too

Selling my 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Caddy pickup truck, color is lago blue and paint is still in good shape for a 34 year old truck. Comes with the 1.6 Diesel engine and 5 speed transmission, truck does not run or start. Truck will need to be towed to it's new home, don't have the time anymore to play with it. The body is in good shape with little surface rust, dings, and a couple of small dents but nothing major. Car can be picked up or you can hire a shipping company to come and pick it up at my location. I have trouble with the key and turning on the ignition, might need a locksmith to check it out and make you a new key.

Here's a rare opportunity to own an awesome little VW truck. This is a super fun truck to drive. It's like a little car with all the perks of a truck. There were't many of these made. Over 4 years of production, only 75,947 were sold. The truck is freshly tuned up and has a fresh inspection sticker that is good until June 2017. It starts right up, idles, runs and drives great. She gets great gas milage, somewhere in the 40's, depending whether driving on the highway or in town. I want to say it averages around 44 MPG. This one is an original Silver born in 1982 with 136,499 miles on it now. She bares a lot of original paint with a respray on the bottom years ago. Enjoy it now as a daily driver with absolutely no worries. I would hop in it and drive it cross country without a worry. VERY VERY Solid and VERY hard to find in this condition! West coast car with virtually no rust. 1983 rabbit pick up aka (caddy), has 1.7 litre 4 cyl , fresh timing belt water pump .cap rotor, wires truck is in concord nc plugs, has two barrel webber with manual choke. all shifter linkage and bushings, new motor mounts' new clutch , new wheel bearings front and rear , has rear disc brakes, gti seats from mk3 and a rabbit gti instrument cluster with tach, is a daily driver . brakes are new , no low ballers, no tire kickers .has snow flakes, with good tires, also has 83 gti engine and close ratio trans and two extra dashes to come with . new alt belt with hymejoint adjustment new radiator hoses and coolant resivior. 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel Pickup Truck w/ Spare Parts (w/ Title) This is a rehab that I began before I moved away. This pickup was in rough shape and I redid the interior and completed most of the body work - small amount of bondo work left - but, there is 6 coats of primer on it. The vehicle has been stored inside a heated garage for 8 years. Problems:- Small smokers window on drivers side needs to be set.- Engine seized up, but ran two years ago. I would have fixed this but I didn't have enough time as I had to move away.- Headliner doesn't look great because headliner glue by 3M didn't work great and I had to use self tapping screws to hold it up Work Completed:- All new brake hardware w/ all new brake lines- New e-brake cables- New exhaust- Reconditioned gas tank- All new gas lines- New rear shocks (Also have new front shocks, but was able to put them in)- New radiator w/ hoses- Bed liner in bed- Bed liner in wheel wells- POR 15 Undercoating Conclusion: Vehicle is in great shape overall. However, the engine is seized up. It needs finishing touches and a fresh coat of paint. Interior looks pretty nice - carpet cleaned and brown leather seats in great condition.
