The steering and handling feels just like the day I bought it; firm and easy to drive. The engine sounds great, and the car is still very zippy and responsive. The gearshift is smooth like butter! How often was it driven? Not often at all (mostly the reason it's for sale). If you do the math, that's only about 4,200 miles a year since I've owned it. Plus, indoor garage kept. Does it need anything? It could use an oil change, and a new battery within in the next 12 months, but otherwise, good to go. What is the current mileage on the car? 51,370Is the auxiliary input for audio aftermarket? The auxiliary input came factory installed on this model. It's located in the glove compartment on the passenger side, and is great! Do the back seat fold down? Yes, both back seats fold down and create plenty of room for any large hauls you might have. Hi, This 2008 Volkswagen Rabbit S 4dr Manual transmission hatchback is my personal daily driver and has been very well cared for since day #1. The car resided in the suburbs before I moved into the city a couple years ago. We have the original window sticker and all service records from the day it was purchased at the VW dealer (including dealer service records). It has about 61,550 miles and runs and drives excellent! We have a CLEAN TITLE IN HAND. There are no known issues and the tires are one year old and are four matching Michelin All-Season tires with about 85% tread remaining (say 30-40k miles). The clutch feels great. The exterior and interior of the car are beautiful with only one tiny mark on the door (not visible from 10ft). Some options include a trip calculator, power windows, power doors, power driver’s seat, power mirrors, AUX input, in-dash CD changer, etc. It is in a heated garage and the pictures are dark but the car is magnificent. The interior looks, feels, and smells clean with no rips or tears. I have the VW rubber winter mats and I make sure everyone is careful when they come in the car. They have to clean their shoes before coming in. I am offering a 30 day limited powertrain warranty. Selling my 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Caddy pickup truck, color is lago blue and paint is still in good shape for a 34 year old truck. Comes with the 1.6 Diesel engine and 5 speed transmission, truck does not run or start. Truck will need to be towed to it's new home, don't have the time anymore to play with it. The body is in good shape with little surface rust, dings, and a couple of small dents but nothing major. Car can be picked up or you can hire a shipping company to come and pick it up at my location. I have trouble with the key and turning on the ignition, might need a locksmith to check it out and make you a new key.

This is a three owner, 1982 VW Rabbit diesel pickup truck, with 153k original miles!! This VW is equipped with the 4 cylinder, 1.6L diesel motor, a 5 speed manual transmission and front wheel drive!! I daily drive her everyday and spend about 30 dollars every 2 weeks, need a bigger truck so she needs a new home. I also replaced the old cracked tail lights with brand new ones. The paint shines and still looks good! There is no rust aside for surface stuff where the original paint had chipped off, Texas&Oregon truck since new. The truck does have some dings, dents and a few creases around the body, please see pictures. The bed and tailgate are dented as well however the gate still works just fine. The truck has a rebuilt title due to the minor body damage on the drivers side bed, please see pictures.The interior is in good shape. The seats are all original and in good condition aside for a few splits in the vinyl, please see pictures. The carpet is in decent shape, does have some stains but no rips/tears, please see pictures. All of the gauges work great including the clock! This truck is also equipped with a Clarion radio, tape player which still works but the speakers are old. The windshield is in good shape as well with just a few small pits, no chips and no cracks! The headliner is in good condition, please see pictures. There is only one split in the dashboard, please see pictures. This truck does not have ac. Included in the sale are the original owners manuals, The Limited Service Agreement-Registaration booklet, the Warranty&Maintenance Booklet as well as a Haynes VW Diesel Automotive Repair Manual&A Robert Bentley Rabbit Diesel Repair Manual!The motor starts instantly and purrs, just serviced, fresh engine oil&filter service, a fresh fuel&air filters installed!! Hard to find 1st Generation German Made MK1 1978 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel. Complete car that needs both mechanical and body repairs. ~ Ziebart rustproofed, so much of the rust is surface, but there's more serious rust near the rockers and wheel wells. Strut towers are both solid; one has a few spots of surface rust, the other one looks mint. ~ 1.5 Liter Inline 4-Cylinder rated at 45/57 M.P.G. ~ 4-Speed Stick Shift. Clutch appears to be engaging well. ~ Interior overall is good. Passenger seat needs to be recovered or replaced. Headliner looks perfect, firmly attached and not sagging anywhere. Sun visors look perfect, no rips or tears. Door panels look MINT. Carpet needs cleaning or replacement. Dashboard has a few small cracks on top, but the front part of it looks MINT. ~ All windows are perfect. No cracks or chips. ~ All headlights, turn signal markers, brake and reverse lights are all excellent. None are cracked or broken. ~ Al l 4 "UFO" wheel covers are included as seen in pictures. ~ Tires have a lot of tread left on them ~ Engine compartment looks really clean. Doesn't appear to be any leaks. ~ Car is missing only the gas cap and radio antenna. ~ Comes with 2 keys (1 Original), Service Manual (Robert Bentley), Clean and Clear title in hand. ~ Can be viewed in person in Arlington Heights IL.
