1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel Pickup Truck w/ Spare Parts (w/ Title) This is a rehab that I began before I moved away. This pickup was in rough shape and I redid the interior and completed most of the body work - small amount of bondo work left - but, there is 6 coats of primer on it. The vehicle has been stored inside a heated garage for 8 years. Problems:- Small smokers window on drivers side needs to be set.- Engine seized up, but ran two years ago. I would have fixed this but I didn't have enough time as I had to move away.- Headliner doesn't look great because headliner glue by 3M didn't work great and I had to use self tapping screws to hold it up Work Completed:- All new brake hardware w/ all new brake lines- New e-brake cables- New exhaust- Reconditioned gas tank- All new gas lines- New rear shocks (Also have new front shocks, but was able to put them in)- New radiator w/ hoses- Bed liner in bed- Bed liner in wheel wells- POR 15 Undercoating Conclusion: Vehicle is in great shape overall. However, the engine is seized up. It needs finishing touches and a fresh coat of paint. Interior looks pretty nice - carpet cleaned and brown leather seats in great condition.
