1964 Volkswagen Beetle RELISTING due to non-paying bidder. Please only bid if you intend to purchase. Thank you. Original condition and a daily driver. I have owned this car for nearly 10 years and it had been reliable and well maintained the entire time. I am only parting with it because my daughter's car seat does not fit very well I want to keep her safe. I am looking for a good owner who will continue to take good care of it. It is still mostly original and there are not a whole lot of these left. Over the years I have done the following:12 volt alternator upgradeNew master cylinder and brakesRecovered seatsRebuilt top end - new seals aroundNew carburetor New flywheel/clutch plate Like any car of its age, it has its quirks but they do not affect its overall drivability. It could use fresh paint (previous owner had it repainted) and I would suggest addressing the engine lid at that time. The spring mount has come un-welded and it sticks when trying to open it, but it is still functional. The only rust on the underbody/pan is in the read passenger footwell area (see picture). Included are more photos of the underside. A non-refundable deposit is due at the end of the auction, or the auction may be paid in full. I accept PayPal, cash, or Cashier's check. 1971 Volkswagen Sedan - Low Reserve! This VW Sedan is the perfect car for restoration. This is a California car. There is no signs of accident damage. No Bondo. Super-straight. I installed a new carburetor, filter, flushed the tank and lines, and I also installed a new electronic ignition. No more messing with points! I installed a rebuilt speedometer with all new bulbs and the mileage reset to zero. This was a pricy add-on, but necessary. There is no rust. All the stinky stock tar board has been removed. The typical place for 1st sign of rust is below the battery box. As you can see, it's completely clear of rust. The tires are in good shape. I estimate 50% life remaining. That's all I can think of. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. This vehicle is being sold "as-is", "where-is". No warranty is expressed or implied. Buyer is to pay all shipping fees. For sale: $5250 OBO. 1973 Volkswagen Beetle. Built 1776cc engine. Dual weber 44 IDF carbs. Bigger exhaust system as well. External oil filter and external oil cooler with electric fan. Added a tachometer too. Around 35k on the engine. Car's Odomenter says 24k for body. But it is a 5 digit OD. Built pro-street transmission. New, only 4 months old. New shifter and linkage bushings as well. Rigid tranismission mount with stabilizer bar across rear of engine. Disk brakes up front with 2 1/2 drop spindles. Rear drums in back. Rear suspinsion was re-indexed to be lowered 2 inches. Heavy duty swaybar up front. New tires up front, only 5 months old, and brand new tires on the rear. Have not touched the interior since I bought it. Had it for 6 years under my care.Mechanically sound and visually appealing. Garage kept and well taken care of.

Lovingly restored since 1991, last paint job in 2008; great condition inside/out; 2 rebuilt engines, last one in 2008; fully maintained; Interior upholstery replaced in 2008 - driver side near brake has vinyl seat tear - driver vinyl seat has mild discoloration; engine oil leak (rear main seal should be replaced); minor knicks/dings on fender; minor paint dings on interior door panels. Crank hard-top sunroof; German-made model; runs beautifully - starts right up; new brakes front/rear; last full maintenance March 2015; front trunk liner replaced. Owned since 1991. Always parked in secure garage (not exposed to the elements). Owner has full maintenance records.

This is one of the nicest old 1959 Beetles you will see on the road as the restoration and build are high quality with the best of parts and materials & lots of chrome The Bug was and stripped and painted this awesome light blue and is a real eye catcher as whenever I drive it there always people staring and plenty of thumbs ups!!! Well powered with a 1835 engine, 041 heads, 90 mm pistons, Engle 110 cam, full circle crank, dual carbs, 1700lb Kennedy clutch, lightened flywheel, this bug is VERY fast and has a very impressive sound/whine when racing through the gears and pulls strong even in 4th………… All new brakes & lines, converted to 12 volt with alternator, adjustable front beam, cruises on the freeway at 70-80 all day long with the road gears. New Grey tweed interior, door panels…etc…etc…all original floors with original sound deadening grey headliner & salt and pepper carpet.Gas tank has been lined and polished up as seen in the pics, bumper brackets have been powder coated & bumpers have been re-chromed. Polished wheels and the tires have almost all their tread left. Car has been wired for a head unit in the glove but I couldn't bring myself to cut and install speakers as the inside looked so pristine Approximately 1000 miles on car since restoration but the true mileage on the chassis is unknown as the speedometer has been replaced. Car is rust free and always garage kept and a real attention getter not to mention great fun to drive and we just added an awesome roof rack and that pic will be up very soon. If you are looking for a turnkey 1959 Bug for the summer fun this is the one for you. Check out the pics and they will do the talking for this little beast.
