1971 VW Bug- Herbie tribute , rebuilt 1600cc dual port engine with about 1000 miles on it, rebuilt carb, new fuel lines, fuel tank cleaned and coated, entire brake system is new (mastercylinder, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and springs, and brake hoses). performance exhaust but is still quiet like stock exhaust, new lens for all exterior lights, painted about 2 months ago, new herbie replica graphics. All lights and electrical accessories function properly. Interior is almost all new, new carpet, door panels, headliner, seats are original but in excelent condition. Wheels and wheel caps were sand blasted and painted when car was painted, has new tires as well. Engine starts right up and runs great, gets over 30mpg, drives like new, clutch was replaced when engine was rebuilt. All new fluids. This car is in very good condition, great daily driver or take it to car show and turn heads with the herbie love bug look. 2002 VW Volkswagen Beetle TDI GLS, upgraded with GLI and GTI suspension and brakes! Audi wheels. Automatic transmission. Cruise control. Sunroof. Monsoon stereo. Leather seats. Very clean, no rips or cracks. AC, heat. Everything works excellently. No check engine lights. This has been a very good car. It's just an extra car used occasionally, and don't have the parking, so need to sell. Recently, within last 1500 miles has had maintenance including: new timing belt, tensioners, rollers, water pump, and oil pump, oil change, brakes, new battery, intake cleaned, transmission service, new glow plug (all regular maintenance, so you need to do nothing.) In addition to all that, the suspension upgrade mentioned above. It is not only fast now, but corners like on rails! This is not your typical Beetle. Still gets the great diesel economy. Runs like new! The only bad is that some of the clear coat on the rear bumper peeled when the previous owner removed a wrap. But I have actually liked that for city parking. 2002 Volkswagen New Beetle - Manual Transmission - Rare Find Talk to any VW mechanic, and they will tell you that the Manual Transmission VW's made from 2001 to 2004 are some of the longest-lasting and reliable of the VW series. (They may also note that the most problematic of VW are the "Turbo" line as they age, and that Automatics do not last as long as the Manual VW's). This is my second 2002 VW Beetle with a Manual Transmission. Clear Title, Good condition 1971 VW Superbeetle. I have owned this car for over 5 years and have driven it extensively without problems. Painted original color about 4 years ago, engine runs strong. Everything original with the exception of a stereo and two speakers mounted in the back. Interior needs carpeting, could use a new steering wheel (cosmetic purposes), the trunk (in front) needs paint touch up and also has a small dent and one of the original front seats has a tear in the vinyl.
