Plastic brackets break, window will slide down and not respond to switch. This is a common problem on this generation of Jeep Libertys. I'm moving overseas and, unfortunately, I have to sell my 1997 Subaru Legacy Outback, 2.5 liter 5 speed. It's in very good shape inside and out, runs very smooth and has served me well! Positives: - Only 20,000 miles on rebuilt engine. (Engine rebuilt March 2019 at 165,426 miles. 185,506 current miles on odometer.) - New front brakes, catalytic converter's, fuel pump, plugs and wires, alternator, timing belt, radiator, water pump and hoses, rack and pinion, etc. - Replaced clutch and gear shifter linkage. - Good tires and shocks. - All gauges and devices (a/c, heater, front seat heaters, DVD player, interior and exterior lights, wipers, automatic windows and side mirrors, cruise control, etc.) in good working order. - Rear tinted windows. - Have all receipts. Problems/Flaws: - There's a very tiny, slight oil leak, possibly from warping of valve cover (all gaskets and seals were replaced.) - Some scuffs, oxidized patches and peeling clear coat on original paint. (Actually, I like it - gives the car character.) - Tiny ding near right rear taillight. - Previous owner was from cold, wet winter climate of Minnesota and small rush patches formed in a few spots where roof rack and antenna attach to roof (I applied rust deactivator, bondo and black primer to prevent further rusting). - One of the headrests to backseat, scroll cover to cargo area and hand crank to jack are missing. - There are few other less-significant, minor flaws.
