With only 23k original miles on the odometer, this 930 Turbo is in wonderful condition inside and out! This Porsche has had just two owners since new. The 2nd owner bought the car in Jan 2015 and put less than 1000 miles on the car. The paint appears to be original as we could not find any paint/tape lines, no over-spray and the paint gauge is consistent with that of an original car. It's hard to believe the car is already 30 years old! One can expect minimal signs of use from occasional driving but it's quite clear the previous owners went to great lengths to prevent the kind of dings, scuffs and other normal wear found on most examples. The finish has a beautiful shine with no oxidation or fading revealing it's been garage kept and had the proper care and handling. The glass, lenses, rubber seals and whale tail are all very nice with no cracks or fading. The Bridgestone Potenza tires are new all the way around the car and the Fuchs are free of curb rash and appear to have their original finish. The NON-SMOKER interior displays an equally exceptional quality which is hard to come by on vehicles of this vintage. The leather seats are in great condition with no rips or excessive wear. Mechanically, the car is about as sound as they come. The car starts on demand and the engine runs smooth with no hiccups, smoke or other abnormalities. The clutch feels good and the air conditioning is cold with an updated system. The original owner changed out the turbo/intercooler & exhaust with an upgraded version but kept the original parts which will be conveyed to the new owner (some of which are pictured). The car runs so well with the current set up that we couldn't bring ourselves to change it out however this can be done by the new owner or we can discuss having this done by our air-cooled specialist. In short, this is the quintessential 911 Turbo and it's condition is a testament to the previous owners pride in ownership and dedication to preserving an iconic sports car! Decided to sell my 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose. All steel fenders and all orignal Porsche trim however, I do not believe this car came from factory as slantnose. Car has never seen rain and spent most of it's life Arizon where it was also sold new.Very desired color combination black on black. This car starts on first key turn and is very fast. Incredible sound! Engine runs very smooth and very strong. No oil leaks on my garage floor at all. The paint is very shiny with small little nicks here and there as you can expect from a car that age. Interior shows very well with nice leather dash board. Factory vin stickers in place. Tires have been used for about a 1000 miles only. Car comes with red booklet, a stack of service receipts, original tools, jack as well as a bra to cover the front from stone chips. After agonizing over this decision for quite some time I have decide it is time to put my incredible car up for sale. I have owned this car for three years and it has been a joy to own and drive. It has given me zero issues and has never failed to excite when driven. I would love to keep the car but I have very little time to drive it and over the last three years it has spent a lot of time sitting in the garage. The car has quite a few upgrades that I will list here but the best thing about that is I have every single factory part that was ever removed from the car including the original color keyed Fuchs and even the original radio and speakers. I also have the original window sticker, keys, owners manual, tool kit and air compressor. This is a US Model 1986 Porsche 930 Turbo Grand Prix White over Burgundy leather sport seats. There is currently 69,700 miles on the odometer. The car was sold when new by Precision Imports in Tulsa OK and has had three owners since new. I bought the car March of 2013 from the second owner who had the car five years and put about very little mileage on it. All of the smog stuff has been removed but I have every piece in case you would want to put it back on. The interior is in excellent condition with a little wear on the drivers side bolster. The paint is in very good shape with some imperfections that you would expect to find on a 30 year old car. As far as I know most of the paint is original. I am not a paint expert so I could be wrong about that. Everything works as it should the car runs smooth and shifts great. Oil was changed every year even though the mileage was very little on it. The previous owner had the fuel pump relays changed over to blade type fuses as anyone who knows 930s will tell you the relays were sometimes a problem this seems to work fine so I left it like that but I do have the relay sockets and relays to change it all back. All in all this is a beautiful car that gets lots of attention every time I drive it. lifted and the famed 930/Turbos started to flow back into the United States. For the last 4-years of the 930, these models were virtually identical. The 1989 came with the 5-speed and the 1986 had the last of the sealed beam U.S. headlights. Other than that, there really was no major difference. This Turbo had a production completion date of May 16th, 1986. It was a very late production and was sold new by YBH Porsche Audi of Edgemont, PA on July 3rd, 1986. It was well equipped with the following factory options: Sport seats with electric height adjustment (L/R) US standard emissions Limited slip differential Steering wheel with raised/extended hub Wheels painted Grand Prix white Blaupunkt radio Electric sliding sunroof Dunlop tires There were only a few owners in this 930’s history. Based on condition, it is clear that it was very well cared for and never used in inclement weather or abused. Although the current owner has only had the car about a year, he is no stranger to owning classic Porsches and is an extremely savvy collector. In the last 10-months/150-miles, the current owner has invested over $14,000 making sure most everything on this car is ready for touring or showing. The paint is in near flawless condition. There is a slight blemish in the paint on the lower edge of the rain gutter near the bottom of the windshield (see photo). It has been touched-up. Most of the paint is original and verified with a paint meter. The original factory finished Fuchs look perfect with no curb rash and are wearing new Bridgestone tires. All the glass is original including the windscreen. The rubber is all-original and shows no cracks or signs of age. The interior is equally nice and certainly an indication of the gentle life this 930 has had. The sport seats show light use and the leather is still supple. The door panels look great with no sagging on the pockets. The leather dash has no cracks. The trunk carpet is original and in excellent condition with no stains. The headliner and interior carpet look fresh as well. All the gauges, buttons, lights, clock, a/c, radio, sunroof, mirrors, switches, etc. operate properly. This Turbo drives as fresh and new feeling as it looks. It starts easily on the first try. The overall feel of the car is very tight and crisp. The power is strong with quick throttle response. The brakes have excellent initial bite and perfect pedal feel. The clutch feels fresh with no slipping and it shifts smoothly through the gears. Everything about how this Porsche drives feels indicative of a well-maintained low mile example. It would be easy to take this Turbo on any long distant tour or prepare it for a PCA national concours event. This 930 is one of the more complete examples I’ve seen. It comes with all the owner’s manuals/books including the stamped maintenance book. Also, it has the original Turbo-specific sales brochure from Porsche and Certificate of Authenticity. A pair of custom marketing hardbound books specific to this actual 930 has been created. Also included is a 3-ring binder with service records: all recent services described above and a few receipts from the mid 90’s. The tool kit is complete and looks like it has never been used. The space saver tire, jack, and air compressor look new and have never been used. A custom fit Porsche factory car cover is included. Having only 50k miles there are some rock chips and the leather does show some wear mostly on the driver's seat. I just finished freshening up the drivetrain to include new Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires in the correct sizes just installed, just serviced with a new clutch, spark plugs, Swepco oil, valve adjustments, air filter, air pump belt and rear crankshaft seal. The motor runs strong and pulls hard when the turbo kicks in and the 5 speed transmission shifts smooth thru every gear with ease. 16x7 Fuchs and 16x9 Fuchs, A/C blows cold, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, factory sport seats, power seat height adjustment left and right, power sunroof and nice aftermarket stereo with MB Quart separate speakers and Precision Power amplifier.
