With only 23k original miles on the odometer, this 930 Turbo is in wonderful condition inside and out! This Porsche has had just two owners since new. The 2nd owner bought the car in Jan 2015 and put less than 1000 miles on the car. The paint appears to be original as we could not find any paint/tape lines, no over-spray and the paint gauge is consistent with that of an original car. It's hard to believe the car is already 30 years old! One can expect minimal signs of use from occasional driving but it's quite clear the previous owners went to great lengths to prevent the kind of dings, scuffs and other normal wear found on most examples. The finish has a beautiful shine with no oxidation or fading revealing it's been garage kept and had the proper care and handling. The glass, lenses, rubber seals and whale tail are all very nice with no cracks or fading. The Bridgestone Potenza tires are new all the way around the car and the Fuchs are free of curb rash and appear to have their original finish. The NON-SMOKER interior displays an equally exceptional quality which is hard to come by on vehicles of this vintage. The leather seats are in great condition with no rips or excessive wear. Mechanically, the car is about as sound as they come. The car starts on demand and the engine runs smooth with no hiccups, smoke or other abnormalities. The clutch feels good and the air conditioning is cold with an updated system. The original owner changed out the turbo/intercooler & exhaust with an upgraded version but kept the original parts which will be conveyed to the new owner (some of which are pictured). The car runs so well with the current set up that we couldn't bring ourselves to change it out however this can be done by the new owner or we can discuss having this done by our air-cooled specialist. In short, this is the quintessential 911 Turbo and it's condition is a testament to the previous owners pride in ownership and dedication to preserving an iconic sports car! Description: 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Slantnose Upgraded Engine to 410 HP 353 ft./lbs. The "Engine Torque" is very exciting, a kick to drive! Beautiful Pearl White with Black and Burgundy interior, BBS 3 Piece Wheels and Aero side mirrors. Comes with lots of service records as well as the August 2014 dyno report. This was performed on a “Mustang Dyno”, versus the “Dynojet”. Google it, big difference in accuracy. The "Torque" is 353 ft./lbs. (WHP on pump gas). This thing will "Launch". K-27 Turbo 1.05 bar (hard set limit so you can punch it, hang on, and not be concerned about over boost). i.e. The RPM at Max Torque is 3920. HP (410) more available if you wanted it. This is accomplished at the bottom of 3rd gear, then up to max RPM/HP to load the engine for an accurate computer printout. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=-1HakB2RG1E History: I purchased this Porsche 911 Turbo from Prudential Insurance as a heavy theft. Before the purchase, the Porsche Race shop where I built the car inspected the shell for any damage. The shell was 100 % correct, free of any flaws and ready for restoration. An extensive build was started to produce an exciting 930 Slantnose in “new condition.” All components of the car (OEM slant nose using the Porsche Stuttgart 930 conversion manual) were installed new or overhauled (i.e. 3.3 Engine, K-27 Turbo, 930 Transmission, 930 Suspension and Dual Fuel Pump System, etc.) Project completed in December of 1995. New “odometer” installed to show zero miles at project completion. Hence the Texas Title shows: "Refurbished" and "Exempt" under Odometer Reading. The result is a beautiful, quick and exciting 930 Slantnose to drive and admire. The night picture sitting in front of the restaurant was taken November 2014 and is not photo shopped, I snapped it with my iPhone. The owner of the race shop (where I now have the car maintained here in Dallas, TX) said to me "You be careful, this thing is Peppy". And he races and maintains several client track cars! Very presentable 930, 9 inside/out for a 1988, a beautiful exciting car.
