Car has upgraded head unit and Tubi exhaust. Car was involved in an accident on the right side at one point, we had car inspected prior to our purchase and lazered with a frame machine and the car checked out fine, the shop also told us the prior paint work was done right. We do not know the extent of the damage as is happened prior to us getting the car. The hood is original so the front end collision was not direct. Of course we welcome and encourage pre purchase inspections. Car comes with complete service history from day one and all services have been performed by a Ferrari dealer. Apart from the work done on the engine, this was also the veryfirst time that an F1-style gearbox had been used on a road-going Ferrari V12too. It was decided not to modify the beautifully sober and balanced styling ofthe 550 which had earned it instant classic status and which was actually perfectlyin tune with Ferrari’s return to the high performance front-engined berlinettascene. The only modificationswere as the result of the 575's greater technical demands: newly-designed airintakes on the new front end for refined aerodynamic and fluid-dynamicefficiency, and a new treatment for the front spoiler. Lastly, the headlampclusters were redesigned with a car-coloured body and grey surround with xenontechnology for the dipped beam as standard, and headlamp washers.Aerodynamically, the final flourish was the honing of the airflows around thewheels and the addition of small fairings to reduce drag. Every last detail ofthe underbody was also lovingly sculpted to generate downforce whilst cuttingdrag.
