Beyond the aggressive looks there is 750 hp running at the rear wheels, courtesy of Chuck Mallett, to make sure this coupe is memorable whether it's standing still or passing everyone. With over $154,000 invested in this car, you can bet it is a winner! Synergy Green Metallic is one of the best standout colors ever offered on the Camaro, and it's so bold that some believe it's a custom color. The good news is this factory shade wasn't nearly as popular as the more everyday black or red, which also will help with adding value over the years. But honestly, this color is more about announcing the car's aggressive attitude. It draws attention to the power bulge in the hood, and perfectly complements the dark trim. In fact, even the Forgeline FSP3 alloy wheels have been custom powder coated to match this dual tone style. Step inside and this coupe has the same aggressive attitude stitched into the interior, literally. The premium upholstery on this Camaro SS means the great green paint wraps around the doors and runs across the dashboard. This higher packaging also came with black leather seats that offer the kind of support and comfort that only a modern bucket can. This is a retro car, so that means blending old and new styles together. The three-spoke steering wheel feels fat and grippy in your hands and offers an unobstructed view of the deeply recessed gauges that are a modern take on the round dials in an early Camaro. Auxiliary gauges are down low on the console where they belong, just ahead of the Hurst manual shifter. However, modern touches include the digital vent and radio controls. Plus, this one is loaded with air conditioning, sunroof, keyless entry, power windows, Bluetooth, power seats, power locks, cruise control, tilt wheel, and a kicking AM/FM/XM/CD/iPod stereo. There is even a backup camera integrated into the rear view mirror. So driving this Camaro is definitely no sacrifice. We've mentioned this a little already, and you've probably noticed the Mallett logo just below the rear spoiler, so now its time to go through the details of the monster motor. Under the hood lives the original fuel-injected V8, but 3,000 miles ago it was given to racing ace Chuck Mallett's shop for a serious $93,25 upgrade. Now the motor has been bored and stroked to go from 6.2-liters to 7.1 this one now lives in the territory that the big block cars did back in the day. But the performance upgrades don't stop there. It has a Magnuson supercharger running 16 lbs of boost, a 9.0:1 compression ratio, and a rumbling Kooks three-inch exhaust with high-flow cats. This powerplant can now be the top dog at any dyno putting down numbers beyond 750 hp at the wheels (Hellcat, who?!) Of course that kind of power means there needs to be some serious upgrades to keep the rest of the drivetrain bulletproof. The six-speed manual transmission is from the more powerful ZL1; the driveshaft and rear end have been beefed up to accept up to 1400 hp; and the suspension is a Hotchkis Stage 3 race pack including a Bilstein PSS10 Coil Over shock system. Just to make sure all of this power can be corralled on the streets, there is a four wheel Brembo disc brake package attached to sticky Cooper Zeon tires. There's just too much custom work to list here, but give us a call, and we'll go through the build photos and receipts with you. After all, you're going to want to know all the details on this very expensive build of one very cool, and fast, Camaro. My 69 Camaro SS 396 convertible, has the original engine, transmission and rear end. The floor plans, trunk pan are original. The underside of the car is unrestored with some undercoating. The fenders are NOS, and the lower quarters have been replaced. Other than that this is an original 46K mile Camaro convertible. I bought this car three years ago to sort out and keep, but have decided to sell this car to buy a C7 Z06. I am a collector not a dealer, and enjoying buying good original cars and make them better. In this case, I have had the car painted, the interior was impeccably cleaned with most of the focus on the door panels and dash pad. Both of which are assembly line correct. The door panels are in mint condition as is the dash pad. The carpet and seats are original and show some wear. The carpet is not torn or in bad shape but does show slight fading. The seat covers have a few pulled seams but are not ripped. All the original seat belts are in the car and work great. All the glass is original including the front windshield.I had the car painted in it's original silver and it shines great. I do have a small dent in the top of the drivers fender that is more of a hand dent than a sharp object dent. It needs to go to a paintless dent removal company. I installed new Moog front coil springs, and the correct style D&R rear leaf springs. I have the original YJ rallys that go with the car and the SS wheels go with the car too. I have the original jack and accessories. The trunk pan is in good condition, and all the cocktail shakers are in place. The convertible top is older but shows really well with no rips or tears.Under the hood are all the factory correct pieces except the alternator. I don't recall what the date code is on the current alternator but can find out for a serious buyer. The correct alternator for this car is not an expensive item like the 837 alternator for the 69 Z28. I do have the correct brake booster, but will need a new bladder. Installed is a GM restoration booster that works great. The original booster will go with the sale. The horns, horn relay, voltage regulator, coil, carb, fan, intake manifold are all original to the car. The car has a correct 69 dated Harrison radiator but dated after the car. Perhaps a dealer replacement when the car was young. I sourced the correct smog manifolds dated to the car installed them along with a correct smog system. Some of you may know these are not cheap pieces.I installed new fuel lines, and brake lines along with new brakes, rebuilt correct master cylinder and the transmission and rear end have been serviced. The engine pulls hard, does not smoke at start up has 60 lbs of oil pressure when hot, and the fast idle choke works. This car runs great is the bottom line. I have several cars, and this Camaro is the best driving car of the bunch. It goes down the interstate effortlessly at 75 mph, does not overheat, pull etc. It tracks like a new car. It really is a joy to drive. The big block through the deep tone muffler sounds awesome!!The options on the car are, rosewood steering wheels, automatic transmission, deluxe black interior, endura bumper, SS, 396/326, am/fm radio with rear speaker and fader. This car is an early car so it has the correct early headrests, and the early two piece kick panels. The interior best I can tell has never been removed. No real reason since the carpet is original.I looked long and hard to find an original big block 69 Camaro convertible with the original drive train. I still look for these cars and they are very scarce. If you are looking you already know this.I have the original owners manual, and also the previous title documenting the milage. You will not be disappointed with this car if you are an original car collector. I am happy to send detailed picture of the car, but please no picture collectors. Call me with questions 704 904 6092. That's right, before most gearheads can drive, or even think about building a small block, they start collecting 1:64-scale Hot Wheels that, for some, inspire many of the same great memories as their full-size muses. And when Chevrolet announced plans build a Hot Wheels version of their incredible fifth generation Camaro, enthusiasts lined up like kids at an ice cream parlor. Fast forward a couple of years, and you get modern classics like this sweet convertible that are already starting to hold their ground in the collector car market. 1 of only 314 drop-top Hot Wheels Camaros produced, and 1 of only 57 equipped with a row-it-yourself gearbox, this F5 is a fully documented, 1-owner boulevard king that's seen only 2,482 miles of limited road use. If you're looking for a unique muscle car that's fast, reliable, virtually unused and capable of holding more than its own when it comes to everyday performance, you've found your next toy! BODYWORK/TRIM With mere break-in miles on its bright digital odometer, this showroom-fresh Chevy is an as-new garage queen that's assembly line perfect in virtually every way. A slick coat of Kinetic Blue Metallic 2-stage, accented by matte blackout graphics and 'Dragon's flame' fender art, gives the car just enough edge to mix innocent, toy-like whim with ample on-road attitude. A roster of special bolt-ons, including aggressive ground effects, a red-laced ZL-1 grille, black valance trim and a full accoutrement of Hot Wheels emblems, adds just the right amount of detail. And an optional Rally Sport appearance package intensifies those aesthetics with large halos and smoked tail lamps. Visually, this fifth generation Camaro is one of the most aggressive Chevys ever produced. And when that aggression is combined with GM's high quality build techniques, it creates one seriously capable muscle car that shows with the finest classics and runs the fastest street warriors! ENGINE Ever hear the old saying "The greater the risk, the greater the reward"? Well, in a round about way, that logic can be loosely applied to toys. The Hot Wheels package was offered on anything from Chevy's V6 Camaro LT all the way to its V8 Camaro SS. And we all know that, while the V6 car is probably fun in a toy zeppelin kind of way, GM's LS3 V8 is the real McCoy, the cat's meow; the Red Rider BB gun that Ralphie so lusted for in A Christmas Story. Twisting 430 horsepower into roughly 424 lb./ft. of tire torching torque, the lightweight mill rumbling beneath this car's hood is a technological testament to the incredible significance of Chevrolet's storied cam-in-block engine design! GM Powertrain invested a great deal of time and research into getting the most out of its Gen IV small block, and it definitely shows. Changes started with a 20% stronger casting, featuring an increased bore of 103.25mm. Focus was then shifted to flow efficiency, resulting in the use of rectangle-port heads and an all-new intake manifold. Factor in a new piston design, and injectors borrowed from the brutal LS7, and you get a very potent street car that happily doubles as an everyday commuter. That said; road prowess simply isn't enough for a car like this it has to LOOK good too. A color-keyed engine cowl perfectly complements a black air tube and black fuse cover. And overall, everything appears just as it should in a well-maintained, low-mileage garage queen. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take a look under this Zeta-based Chevy and you'll find a slick-shifting Tremec TR6060 6-speed that's suspended in a proven, road-ready chassis. Found in everything from the Dodge Viper to Saleen Mustangs, that T56-derived gearbox utilizes larger gears to deliver better durability and improved torque capacity. That torque flows to a limited-slip rear end that's fitted with beefy 3.45 gears. That drivetrain plays well with a Nurburgring-tested suspension, which benefits from GM's Performance Traction Management. Variable-ratio power steering, big Brembo calipers and giant, vented rotors combine with factory ABS and electronic brake distribution to ensure this is the best handling street-focused Camaro to date. GM's Stabilitrak traction and stability control system works with a 6-speed Camaro SS-exclusive launch control system to keep the power safe and manageable. And the car's "CHEVROLET" branded calipers are fronted by 21-inch Hot Wheels-exclusive wheels, which spin 245/40 Pirelli P Zeros in front of 275/35 Pirelli P Zeros. INTERIOR Inside this pristine Camaro you'll find a Hot Wheels-themed interior that displays virtually no wear at all. The car's French-stitched, "HOT WHEELS" branded seats are supple, supportive and near perfect in every way. The French-stitched dash, which features the same gloss black accents as the car's French-stitched door panels, hangs traditional, black-trimmed gauges around a standard Driver Information Center. At the center of that dash, controls for a Boston Acoustics 9-speaker sound system ride above factory 4-pack accessory gauges and a short, leather-wrapped shifter. Below those gauges, like-new carpet is protected by color-keyed floor mats and cool Hot Wheels sill plates. Opposite that carpet, a self-dimming mirror features GM's award-winning OnStar service. In front of the driver, an ornate steering wheel spins buttons for the car's Bluetooth connectivity, Boston Acoustics audio system and standard cruise control around a standard tilt and telescoping column. Behind the passengers, a surprisingly spacious trunk features enough room for a weekend's worth of luggage. And naturally, all the luxuries you'd expect in a high dollar muscle car are present and accounted for including: power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power seats, remote keyless entry and a standard theft deterrent system.
