I have a collectable, Very hard to find in this condition. 1991 full size K5 Blazer. Local vehicle from new in Charlotte NC. I am the third owner from new off the lot. This truck has never been smoked in. There has been over $18,000 invested into this blazer No rust. Good paint Blue body, black roof, good chrome. Crate engine 350 cu inch V8. <3500 miles Rebuilt transmission by GM trained transmission specialist, very smooth like new. Additional leaf in rear springs to stop usual sagging. Drive shaft lengthened to attain correct rake on UJ's for small lift. Everything on the truck works. New rear window motor & cable. With key lock control plus inside switch. Neoprene seat covers. Custom made for this truck. New brakes & cylinders, rotors just turned. 90% Good BF Goodrich all terrains. 4 wheel drive works great. Manual locking front hubs. Throttle body fuel injection. New ECM with re-program ( old one would overheat making it hard to start) Cold a/c. Overdrive tranny. Roof has never been taken off. Power windows & door-locks. I have spared no expense building & maintaining this truck. I needed it totally reliable & it has been. This truck is the original SUV. As far as I know it has never been off road in mud or trails. This truck is the best vehicle I have ever driven in the snow. I bought this truck to leave at our mountain property, to carry wet kids & dogs, canoes, fishing & ski gear & generally trash it. I was going to take the roof off & leave it off. The truck is just too nice for me to ruin it so I am selling it to replace it with an old crew cab pickup truck. If I was to rate this truck the paint & body would be 95%, seats & carpets 85%, mechanically it is 100%, better than it was new. Tires, wheels & brakes 80%, I was going to put big old mud wheels & tires on it but then the grand-kids couldn't get in and out & the barn door is too low. Though we drove the 3 hours each way to the mountains without hesitation, it never was left there. Once you get up to 75 mph there is drumming from the tires on the freeway. I never measured but I am guessing 15 MPG but I mainly drive it around town.It is a pretty intimidating vehicle on the road which I like when following a Prius traveling in the show off lane & honestly, it can be driven offensively in the traffic because it is so solid. It is not loud, has factory type exhaust muffler consequently it has never been driven hard. I am the third owner of this 23 year old truck & we have all been old farts. It has the original hand book & purchase info in the glove box. It is clean, tough & loaded, air is cold, heat is hot. NO OIL LEAKS ANYWHERE or rain water getting in. There is NO rust anywhere. If this truck were a woman you would marry her, she's a keeper.
