And when a well-done pro-touring build adds modern ergonomics and mind-numbing performance, 'in demand' becomes 'irresistible'. About a month ago we sold this incredible curve-carver for $125K. And over the past four years, we've sold no less than a dozen world-class pro-tourers for well into the six-figure range. Obviously, the market for top-notch Camaros is alive and well. And this Rally Sport is merely the latest in a string of exclusive F1s that continue to leave our RK Motors Charlotte showroom almost as fast as they arrive. So, if you're one of those folks who waited just a little too long to pull the trigger, here's a rare chance at redemption. Wrapping a 604 cubic inch big block in a custom chassis and swaths of stitched leather, this sinister land rocket puts a white-glove twist on blue-collar dynamics. And best of all, you can have all that comfort and performance without sacrificing any old school style! BODYWORK/TRIM The beneficiary of a thorough, ground-up restoration that was completed in late 2013, this razor-sharp Rally Sport wears a clean and solid body under slick Tuxedo Black 2-stage. And, despite its custom drivetrain, the car's trim and ornamentation is a stylish mix of familiar Chevrolet attributes. Up front, a billet Rally Sport grille hangs electric headlights above a Satin Black bumper, clear Rally Sport parking lamps and an aggressive, carbon fiber spoiler. Behind that grille, a Camaro-branded header leads the eye to a carbon fiber Stinger Hood, which centers exposed weave striping in front of dark-tint glass and straight, Satin Black trim. At the sides of the car, factory doors found satin F2 mirrors and Fesler-supplied handles between satin marker lamps, shaved fenders and satin rocker spears. And at the back of those spears, a power-operated trunk hangs a carbon fiber ducktail over smoked Fesler taillights, a carbon fiber bowtie, a second satin bumper and carbon fiber exhaust bezels that are seated in a custom roll pan. ENGINE Lift this F1's glossy hood and you'll find a 604 cubic inch Dahmer Powertrain big block that's been professionally built to roughly 750 horsepower! The mean engine's growl originates when wind whips from custom, carbon fiber air tubes in to a fabricated, ram jet-style intake. That wind fuses with fossils thanks to quality Hogan fuel injection, which is hooked to braided fluid lines, a small Aeromotive pressure gauge, a familiar Aeromotive regulator and proven F.A.S.T programming. The resulting air/fuel mixture makes its way to quality Air Flow Research heads, which are topped with custom, brushed aluminum valve covers. When the juice hits the cylinders, a hot MSD Pro-Billet distributor shoots fire through sleeved Accel Ferro-Spiral plug wires, which snake around coated Dynatech headers. Cooling for that fire comes courtesy of a massive aluminum radiator that's anchored between a custom cowl and quick-spinning electric puller fans. And, fluid for that cooling system is provided by an aluminum Stewart water pump that, along with a polished alternator and coated AC compressor, spins on high quality Vintage Air FrontRunner components. The buff mill is exceptionally impressive, centering its Jet Black block between carbon fiber fenders, hydraulic Fesler hood supports and contoured Fesler braces. And details, like trick, color-keyed dipsticks, a small Wilwood clutch reservoir and a familiar Wilwood master cylinder, convey the kind of acute build quality that elicits immediate stares. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take a look under this tire shredding pony car and you'll find a fully restored chassis that's ready for the strip or the street. Behind the big engine, a Tremec TKO600 5-speed utilizes a stout hydraulic clutch to spin a tough Keisler driveshaft, which is connected to a Strange 9-inch axle and big, 3.73 gears. Under that driveline, a proven Heidts suspension makes good use of tubular control arms, modern coil-overs, thick sway bars and power rack-and-pinion steering. At the corners of that suspension, four Wilwood calipers clamp drilled and slotted rotors with the help of Hydratech hydraulics. Charred dinosaurs float from the aforementioned headers to a series of large-diameter pipes, which position an H-shaped crossover in front of aggressive SpinTech mufflers. Power meets the pavement through 18-inch Rocket Racing Boosters, which spin 245/40 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 265/40 Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials. And the car's fresh, Satin Black floors are finished with stainless fluid lines, a deep-sump oil pan, a high quality mini starter and Heidts Pro-G subframe connectors. INTERIOR Open this Chevy's tight-fitting doors and you'll find a highly customized interior that wraps 21st century style in a nice blend of comfort and convenience. The car's firm, power adjustable seats, lifted from a modern GTO, have been completely covered in supple Saddle hides. In front of those plush thrones, a custom, Saddle-trimmed dash hangs Auto Meter Pro-Comp Ultra-Lite telemetry above pushbutton ignition and Vintage Air climate control. At the base of that dash, a custom, full-length console centers a straight shifter in front of a polished emergency brake handle. Beneath that leather-wrapped divider, carbon fiber, Fisher-branded sill plates frame billet foot pedals and high quality carpet. Above those sills, custom door panels found color-keyed Fesler handles. Above those panels, a custom headliner frames a custom-wrapped roll bar. In front of the driver, a polished steering wheel spins a thick wood rim around a tilting column. And behind the passengers, the car's fully upholstered trunk is clean and ready to roll. OUR SALE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ACCESSORIESA F.A.S.T. tuner Even without admiring its serious mechanical ability, anyone with the slightest automotive intuition can easily see that this Camaro is certainly something special. How about one with a performance-built big block, 5-speed manual, full handling package, precision straight panels, nut and bolt restoration...starting to get the picture on this ultimate muscle car restomod? There's just something about a Hugger Orange Camaro. It's bold enough to warn others on the streets to 'don't mess with me!' and it just seems to be a beacon at car shows. This one is particularly nice because the factory-correct color has been applied recently with a very professional hand. Even the correct '69 D90 stripe package was painted on. But you can also just tell from the pictures that this Camaro has something more. Its complete nut-n-bolt restoration has given this American classic the kind of precision body gaps we'd expect from a modern German coupe. We love the SS packaging because of the iconic touches like the Super Scoop hood, front air damn, and D80 ducktail spoiler. The American Racing Torq Thrust wheels are a timeless upgrade, and in this case, they have a nice staggered size that adds to this Camaro's aggressive appearance. Inside everything looks factory correct at first appearance, but then you start to notice all the subtle upgrades that make this a superior modern restoration. The houndstooth bucket seats a hallmark of these classics have been have been re-covered. It also isn't a premium Camaro without the center console, and this one has been upgraded with a removable armrest with cup holders, and a quad set of AutoMeter gauges sit forward to be read easily. Plus, the factory tach will help you get the most out of the all chrome Hurst performance shifter. The stereo is iPod compatible, but the modern digital tuner is built to look like a classic knob-style radio. So you don't notice the amazing stereo that's been installed until you feel the full subwoofer system that's hidden nicely in the trunk. You even get to cruise all day in complete comfort with modern R-134a air conditioning, seamlessly integrated into the existing vents. The 396 callouts on the fender make everyone expect a big block, and this over delivers with a 454 cubic-inch crate motor that's larger and meaner than anything from the factory. One look at the engine bay, and you'll know you're headed straight to the car show podium. Beyond all the chrome and stainless, this one has level of tidy origination with well hidden wiring that has helped it already win multiple Best in Show awards. But more than just looking amazing, this one was built to be a reliable performer too. It inhales deeply through a 4-barrel carburetor, stays cool under pressure with a 3-core aluminum radiator w/electric fan, and exhales with authority from the long-tube coated headers. The V8 is mated to a bulletproof and reliable Tremec TKO600 5-speed manual transmission, connected to a stout 12-bolt rear end running a versatile 3.55 gear. Even at idle, it has an unmistakable rumble thanks to a Pypes Performance stainless dual exhaust with performance minded X-pipe construction. But more than just listen to this one, we invite you to take a look under the car. It's how you'll get the best view of the superior suspension components, including the Heidts tubular control arms up front with adjustable QA1 shocks, and the Ridetech four-link adjustable coilover setup in the rear. The enhancements continue all the way to the pavement with Wilwood disc brakes at every wheel, backed up by modern Nexen N3000 performance tires. It has the looks of an amazing classic; the big V8 power to rule the streets; and the handling package to rival modern cars. Best of all, this '69 also has been upgraded with all the modern conveniences that make this big V8 brawler also daily driver comfortable. There's just so much in this one we can't list it all here. But we'd be happy to show you all the restoration receipts that proves this amazing Camaro is your opportunity to make every other muscle car fan jealous. And since pretty much everyone here at RK Motors Charlotte is a gearhead, we know the kind of dedication a high dollar project takes. That said; it seems every time we think we've seen it all, another completely amazing car comes through the doors and just knocks our socks off! This eye-catching Camaro is a head-turning stunner that mixes 427 cubic inches of Chevrolet big block with a tough Muncie 4-speed, thoroughly updated chassis components and customary red paint. And if you're ready to feel the fall breeze behind the wheel of a storied Detroit legend, it's a chance to turn your lust worthy dreams into fantastic reality! BODYWORK/TRIM Purchased in 2011, and subjected to a 3-year, rotisserie restoration, this solid F1 currently rolls as a brilliant, attention-grabbing showpiece. Take one look down the sides of the car's slick body and it becomes very obvious that great care was taken to ensure all gaps are at better-than-factory standards. Step closer to the car's vivid pigment and check out straight and ripple-free surfacing that details original fenders, doors and rockers in front of new quarters and a new decklid. Grab the car's new hood and feel how smoothly it opens to provide excellent fit, which is set off by a glossy clearcoat shine. It all adds up to one top-notch pro-tourer that transforms traditional muscle car style into colorful street rod swagger! The classy lines of the prototypical Camaro simply ooze late '60s style. And because they're so universal in appeal, they've continued to gain significant popularity. At the front of this hardtop, a shaved and painted grille hangs bright halogen headlights above a painted bumper, fresh parking lamps and a new valance that's fitted with a traditional chin spoiler. Behind that grille, a shaved header leads the eye to a raised hood, which shades capped wipers, new greenhouse glass and bright window trim. At the sides of that hood, a clean profile centers chrome door handles and a bowtie-branded mirror between shaved fenders, color-keyed drip rails, stylish marker lamps and Satin Black hockey stripes. And at the back of the car, a second painted bumper frames Rally Sport tail lamps, a familiar D80 deck spoiler and a custom 427 badge. ENGINE Under the hood, 427 cubic inches of Chevrolet V8 offers plenty of solid motivation thanks to stout 10 to 1 compression. At the top of the body-matched block, a big Holley 4-barrell mixes high-octane fossils, sourced from stainless fluid lines, with wind that's supplied by a finned and color-keyed air cleaner. That air/fuel mixture floods a painted Winters intake, which centers a polished water neck between polished breathers and finned, "427" branded valve covers. Below those covers, GM 858 rectangular-port heads feed a balanced rotating assembly that's centered on a steel GM crank. At the back of those heads, a Mallory HEI distributor bridges the gap between a proven Comp Mutha Thumpr roller cam and loomed Accel SuperStock Spiral Wires. Below those wires, tubular shorty headers make quick work of spent gases. At the front of those headers, a billet March pulley system spins a beefy water pump between a modern AC compressor and modern power steering. Cooling comes courtesy of an oversize PRC radiator, which funnels anti-freeze around two SPAL puller fans. The car's color-keyed engine bay follows a slick radiator cowl with hydraulic hood supports and a smoothed firewall. And items like trick dipsticks, a polished overflow tank and a glossy master cylinder ensure first class detailing. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION Take a long look under this solid F-Body and you'll find a whole roster of great modifications that add up to impressive appearance points and big performance gains. The legendary 427 utilizes a Hayes clutch and pressure plate to spin a tough Muncie 4-speed, which twists a narrowed Ford 9-inch around big, 3.70 gears. At the front of that driveline, Heidts tubular control arms lead Unisteer power rack-and-pinion steering. Opposite that front clip, an aftermarket 4-link anchors Air Ride Technologies coil-overs under Detroit Speed mini tubs. Stops come quickly thanks to four drilled rotors and a quartet of sixth generation Corvette calipers. Spent gases are managed by polished, Mandrel-bent pipes, which make good use of 3-inch Borla ProXS mufflers. Power pounds the pavement through Billet Specialties Daggers, which spin 225/40ZR18 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs in front of 275/35ZR20 Nitto NT555 Extreme ZRs. And, like any carefully restored classic, the bottom of this Camaro is as fit as its top, with painted and polished wheel wells framing original, undercoated floors, sturdy subframe connectors and a custom aluminum fuel tank. INTERIOR Inside this Chevy, classic style is augmented with seamlessly integrated customization. The car's modern, 2-tone seats display French-stitched leather that's completely free of significant wrinkles and creases. In front of those thrones, a red-detailed dash embeds a full array of Omega Kustom telemetry behind a custom instrument panel and billet vents for the car's Vintage Air conditioning. At the base of that dash, a custom, full-length console centers a short Indy shifter between thick, color-keyed floor mats. Opposite that console, custom door skins plant chrome door and window handles amid stitched armrests and subtle trim. Above those skins, a custom headliner flows to a custom, 2-tone package tray. In front of the driver, a polished and half-wrapped steering wheel laps a tilting column. There's a powerful aftermarket sounds system that consists of a Kenwood eXcelon head unit, multiple speakers and dual Rockford Fosgate amps. And behind the passengers, a custom-upholstered trunk provides a small amount of cargo space. Fresh off a restoration, the slick show quality bright red paint, custom-built small block, and wicked exhaust means this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is one hot convertible that won't last long in our showroom. This droptop is the perfect combination of vintage looks, mixed with some nice custom touches. The Sapphire Red truly sparkles like a gem on its smooth panels. It has the kind of clearcoat depth that instantly tells people there was a lot invested in making sure this Camaro had paintwork far superior to anything that came out of the '60s. It's a good thing that there is new stainless and chrome all around this car because anything less could never compete with the paint for the attention-grabbing shine. Added to this is a cool custom take on the SS stripe package. Not only does the black match the convertible top, but also this one actually combines the best of the three available factory stripes, and makes one cool continuous flow that will really impress at the car shows. Plus, this wouldn't be a Super Sport without the cowl induction hood, front splitter, and ducktail spoiler. Of course we all love the Rally Sport's hidden headlight package. But as much as these all are cool classic Camaro features, even the more modern car lovers will be admiring the 18" Foose wheels. If the exterior did not convince you there was a quality restoration done in the last two years, the interior absolutely will. Everything looks clean, black, and fresh, including the door panels, carpeting, and dash panel. The low-back bucket seats look like they are straight from '67, and in between them is the desirable center console. There's also an AM/FM/CD stereo to keep everyone entertained. But the moment you sit down, you know this one was specially built for the driver. It starts with the custom three-spoke steering wheel, which has a thin construction so you can see the large AutoMeter tach behind it. There are more auxiliary gauges mounted in the middle. These are just in front of the ratchet-style shifter that tells you this Camaro will let you choose between comfortable cruising when you want, but performance shifting when it's time to get serious. In fact, you know this is a serious street machine the moment you turn the key and hear the intimidating rumble of the dual exhaust. This is courtesy of a 350 cubic-inch small block V8 that was rebuilt 6,000 miles ago with some nice power upgrades. This includes a .030 bored over kit, flat top pistons, mild camshaft, ported & polished heads, Edelbrock Victor Jr High-Rise performance intake, Holley 750 CFM carburetor, MSD ignition, and stainless headers. So yes, the engine has plenty of performance to back up its stellar appearance in the engine bay. Getting the power to the ground is GM's reliable TH200-4r four-speed automatic transmission, on its way to the stout 10-bolt rear end. Handling is also well taken care of with a performance four-wheel disc brake package that's connected to modern and grippy Nexen N3000 low profile tires. But if all you want to do is go for a cruise, this Camaro obliges too. It's a power steering car, and the automatic gearbox will even shift into overdrive once you hit highway speeds above 65 MPH. This first-year Camaro RS/SS convertible looks wicked on the outside, fresh on the inside, and ferocious under the hood. Best of all, this all-around performer is also set up to be the perfect Saturday night cruiser. It's everything you want, but you might want to hurry because this is the Camaro of many other people's dreams also. This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro nails it, ranging from a great color combination, to a powerful fuel injected small block with an overdrive gearbox attached to it. This one has the iconic Camaro appearance with exotic touches throughout...but what else would you expect from an award-winning custom restomod first built for a General Motors VP? There are some great reasons why the paint is so striking on this one. This paint is so precise from PPG that its never even been buffed. The Pearl Metallic Yellow has so much depth that changes its tones depending on how the light hits it. So the mature darker luster this has in our showroom completely turns around, and shines so bright that it looks like it belongs on a Ferrari out on the show field. But no matter this yellow's tone, it looks amazing thanks to a body that's precision straight. Add in the uniform gaps, and you have a nearly 50 year-old vehicle whose doors that shut with modern confidence. This one has all the right Super Sport touches like the blacked-out grille and cowl induction hood, but you know it is far from stock. This has attention-grabbing custom touches like the painted taillight panel, racing gas cap, and of course, the Boyd Coddington Smoothie 17" wheels that shine as bright as the paint. Inside there is no denying that this Camaro is something special. The power bucket seats were taken from a '94 Camaro and reupholstered in leather, with yellow inserts that match the exterior. The door panels have been treated to this same yellow and black custom treatment. In between the two modern buckets is a custom-built center console that houses the contemporary gear lever, and large tachometer prominently mounted in the center. The driver gets a three-spoke steering wheel, and beyond that, a full set of Classic Instruments gauges has been mounted in the Camaro's original stylish dual barrel setup. It's no surprise that this restomod has been specially set up for modern convenience, so you and your passengers can enjoy features such as the AM/FM/CD stereo, and ice cold air conditioning running modern R-134a. But more than anything else, your going to love the engine bay. The heart of this beast is a fuel-injected 350 cubic-inch LT1 crate motor, built an installed around 3,000 miles ago. You'll love popping the hood at all the car shows and watching the crowds marvel at the custum, full silver painted components that look great in the yellow engine bay. This is truly built for presentation with smoothed firewall, all the wires hidden, and the hoses tight and neat (even the battery was moved to the trunk for better weight distribution and a cleaner look.) But just because the engine bay can win awards on its own, doesn't mean speed was left out of this custom build. It can run hard with a Be Cool aluminum radiator and electronic ignition. The custom-built Hooker Competition headers add power, and a wicked growl, to the H-pipe performance dual exhaust. This crate V8 screamer needs stout parts to get all the power to the ground, and that's why it had a GM 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission installed when the engine was built in 2003. But all this power is nothing without control. That's why the suspension was upgraded with goodies like a Detroit Speed front subframe, one-inch front sway bar, and Koni shocks all around. Keeping you in contact with the road is a grippy set of expensive Cooper Zeon tires, backed up by four-wheel disc brakes. But as much as this can tear up the streets, this one is an all-around performer. After all, this is also a power steering car with an overdrive transmission that feeds a versatile 3.42 rear end. There are no compromises in the construction of this Camaro restomod. We have plenty more upgrades to tell you, but for now, just know that this classic was appraised a few years ago at $125K. Now's your opportunity to get this custom build for less than half of that! Extremely fun to drive, with plenty of power and striking good looks, these classics enjoy a cult-like following and provide one of the best ownership experiences on the planet. That unique combination of approachability and appeal has significantly contributed to the brand's continued rise in popularity. And restorations like this sinister pro-tourer, with its GM Performance Parts big block, Tremec 5-speed and Detroit Speed suspension, are always hot sellers. Are you one of the many enthusiasts tirelessly searching for a captivating pony car? Don't miss your chance to claim this killer Camaro coupe! BODYWORK/TRIM The beneficiary of a high quality rotisserie restoration, this nouveau Rally Sport has been stripped to bare metal, fitted with new quarters and sprayed in slick Tuxedo Black 2-stage. And, despite its custom mechanicals, the car's trim and ornamentation is a stylish mix of familiar Chevrolet attributes. Up front, a shaved Rally Sport grille hangs clean Detroit Speed headlights above a body-matched bumper and clear Rally Sport parking lamps. Behind that grille, a shaved header panel leads the eye to a traditional ZL-2 hood and like-new glass that's framed in Detroit Speed wipers and color-keyed stainless. At the sides of the car, factory doors found painted handles and F2 Camaro mirrors between shaved fenders and sculpted quarters that are carved with factory gills. And at the back of those quarters, a shaved valance hangs flush-fit LED taillights between a D80 spoiler, a second body-matched bumper and satin-finish exhaust outlets. ENGINE Toss this panther's glossy hood and you'll find 427 cubic inches of GM Performance Parts big block that's housed in a carefully matched and professionally detailed engine compartment. Number 121 of 427 all-aluminum ZL1 crate engines built from original castings to commemorate one of Chevy's most exclusive motors, this killer mill is fitted with an impressive roster of hardware. At the top of the $20K engine, a polished and decaled air cleaner drops wind in to an 870cfm Holley, which is piped to a coated fuel pump via fresh stainless lines. Under that carb, an aluminum, bowtie-branded intake rides between aluminum, bowtie-branded heads and aluminum, serialized valve covers. Those heads feed a cast aluminum block, which spins a forged rotating assembly under a streetable hydraulic roller cam. At the back of that block, a familiar HEI distributor sparks a web of proven GM Performance Parts plug wires. Beneath those wires, coated block hugger headers funnel spent gases in to aluminized, true-dual pipes. At the front of those headers, a modern serpentine system spins a polished alternator, a polished AC compressor and modern power steering at the edges of a tough Edelbrock water pump. And in front of that pump, an Arctic Chill radiator cycles coolant around two large puller fans. Virtually every facet of this Camaro's fresh engine bay has been taken from a 10 to an 11. Details, like billet hood hinges, a firewall fill plate, a core support close-out and polished Chevrolet caps are well planned and well executed. And, at the end of the day, it all adds up to stout 10 to 1 compression, an impressive 430 horsepower and a whopping 444 lb./ft. of torque. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION That rare big block spins power through a Tremec TKO600 5-speed to a proven Ford 9-inch that's fitted with buff, 3.50 gears. Opposite that mini-tubbed rear end, a powder-coated Detroit Speed subframe wraps power rack-and-pinion steering in tuned coil-overs, tubular control arms, a splined sway bar, and C6 steering knuckles and bearing packs. Stops are provided by power-assisted Wilwood calipers, which squeeze four drilled and slotted rotors. The aforementioned headers and pipes make good use of welded, dual-chamber mufflers. At the corners of the car, polished Budnik wheels spin 275/35ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As up front, and 335/30ZR18 BF Goodrich g-Force T/As out back. And everything, from this Chevy's textured floors to its Detroit Speed subframe connectors, appears to be in excellent operating condition. INTERIOR Swing the car's lightweight doors and you'll find a stylish leather interior that wraps modern bucket seats in a nice blend of style and sophistication. In front of those seats, a factory dash anchors an aftermarket instrument panel behind bright Auto Meter gauges and Vintage Air climate control. Tight carpet centers a custom, full-length console between a Hurst shifter, small power window switches and Dynamat sound deadening. Opposite that carpet, a custom headliner hangs a small dome lamp in front of a sculpted package tray. In front of the driver, a familiar Rally wheel laps a tilting column and silver-trimmed billet foot pedals. At the sides of the passengers, custom door panels found polished handles in front of long armrests and expressive trim. And behind the cockpit, a fully finished trunk features enough storage space for a weekend's haul of trophies. Case in point, a '69 Camaro is always cool. However, this pro-touring F-body takes it to a whole new level! It's got a killer look, combined with a 454 big block V8, a six-speed manual, and all of the accessories you could ask for. A great build you can just get in, drive, and arrive in style! Before you ask, yes, this was an original big block Camaro SS, and yes, it originally left the factory covered in bright hugger orange. But all of that doesn't matter when you look at this killer stance! As far as aesthetics go, this Camaro is the epitome of how a muscle car should look. It's low in the front, aggressive, wears a menacing hood, and you can almost hear the big block V8 roaring to life just by looking at it. Its sheetmetal is straight and the paint lays slick. Accenting the color is a set of black SS stripes that were layed with precision. The doors shut with confidence, the hood lifts with ease, and the trunk opens and closes as if it were new. Body gaps appear to be good all around, the chrome bumpers look new, and the rear deck lid spoiler emphasizes the overall stance. Pop the doors open and you'll find a completely custom interior that is one for the books. The original interior has been replaced with a superior update that includes custom black leather bucket seats with orange insets, custom door panels, and a custom rear bench seat in the same color scheme. The SS logo is prominent on the headrests so there is no denying what you are sitting behind the wheel of. A few woodgrain accents are sprinkled in, with the three spoke steering wheel and the original center console, keeping the interior looking upscale. The all black dash houses the white face Autometer Phantom gauges allowing everything you need to know about the car to stand out while it is running. Camaro SS floor mats help to protect the new carpets, and with a new headliner above, there leaves no doubt that this car is clean and deserving of the new car smell. Loaded with amenities we've come to know and love like air conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD player and Ipod compatibility, and power windows and locks, this Camaro's interior is definitely in the 21st century. With a very clean and nicely done trunk, you'll be ready for your weekend trip with the ability to take all your bags and head to your local car show. What's a classic F-body without big block power under the hood? Thankfully, when you pop the hood you'll find a massive 454ci big block V8. The fully decked out Chevy mill produces approximately 500hp and isn't for the timid. Up top, you'll find a Billet Air Cleaner that shoves the air-fuel mixture into a Holley 780cfm double pumper, and a Edelbrock Victor 2-R Intake. The chrome valve covers have been painted in bright hugger orange with chrome flames to instantly grab the attention of those taking a peek. In front of the engine a BeCool aluminum radiator ensures that you shouldn't have to worry about this beast overheating at any stoplight. Bolted to the powerful big block is a Tremec T-56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission that sends all that power to a 12-bolt posi rear end equipped with 4.11 gears. Stopping power comes courtesy of four wheel power disc Wilwood brakes. And in front of those drilled and slotted rotors are 20" American Racing wheels that have been wrapped in new rubber. If you are looking for a way to make a classic F-body stand out, this pro-tourer is your answer. With plenty of big block power under the hood, an incredibly aggressive stance, and a custom interior, this is one '69 Camaro that demands your attention. That's because with this 1991 Chevrolet Camaro you're driving a top-of-the-line sportscar, that only gets better with Chevy's top-of-the-line motor. It's not hard to love a Z/28 like this. Either you had one, or envied one at some time in your life. And just like Ray-Ban Aviators, these really never went out of style. There was just something about the sharp-edge styling, and ground effects, that made these the kings of the boulevards in the 1980s and 90s. Of course, the one option you absolutely had to have with these cars was the distinctive 16-inch five-spoke wheels that were redesigned for '91. In fact, this coupe's original metallic red is the perfect hue to highlight the new aggressive bodykit and spoiler that make these later 3rd gen cars so distinctive. Yup, you're looking a true survivor right down to the amazingly preserved paintwork. Inside is a gray and black interior has also been preserved in near perfect condition, so it has that great "let's get to business of driving" appearance. When you slip behind the wheel, you'll feel the high-backed bucket seats giving modern support. They have held up fairly well over nearly a quarter of a century (much better than any other we have seen), and their original condition is highlighted by the "Camaro" stitched into the lower back padding. Like any good Z/28, this one came loaded, including power windows, power locks, tilt steering, and cruise control. There are also provisions for air conditioning. Having a modern classic like this means you even get a factory airbag. In fact, the whole interior looks like its came straight from the Van Nuys, California factory in all areas except one...because this is perfect for cruising, there is the nice modern upgrade to an AM/FM/CD stereo (not surprisingly since nearly everyone went aftermarket in this area). Under the hood is where this Camaro becomes even more desirable. It has the optional L98, 350 cubic-inch, fuel-injected V8 that was shared with the Corvette. This numbers-matching motor was the true performance powerplant from Chevy at the time, and it's one of the first things people look for in collect-ability. This V8 could only be mated to the stout 700R4 four-speed automatic because the motor made too much power for GM's five-speed manual of the day. The overdrive transmission also makes this coupe the perfect cruiser, when pared with the power steering, and front disc brakes. This is a true cherished classic, that has only averaged about 4,000 miles annually since new. You also get the full car show packet with this Z/28, that includes maintenance records, original window sticker, and owner's manual. This is the Camaro that you dreamed about in your adolescence, and you now know you can get your high school dream at such an affordable price! This car inspires lust at every angle. The pristine shine of the Matador Red will make your heart race, but this Camaro is more about bad attitude than romance. It shows its aggressive side, with a black streak, that starts with the grille, runs through the SS stinger stripe, and continues onto the black vinyl roof. The Rally wheels are even mounted on redline tires to keep the red/black theme going. Panel fit is quite good overall, and it's nice to see a stock hood with the velocity stack inserts, simply because there's no cowl induction hood made that's cooler. A chin spoiler and traditional ducktail out back add to the SS's attitude, and proper badging remains throughout, including the vaunted '396' emblems on the front fenders. But before all these features fill you with desire, take some time to look at the fundamentals. Check out our pictures from underneath this Camaro. Do you see how the underside of the car is also painted red? That level of detail is proof of serious time and money invested in restoring this coupe to a cut above the rest. This is one of those Camaros you bring a mirror along to car shows so you can lay it underneath and highlight what everyone else covers up. This coupe continues to be out for blood with the pristine red vinyl interior. The Camaro's upscale buckets and console make this one feel more like a gentleman's hot rod than a street brawler. This premium attitude is continued with woodgraining on the console and three-spoke sport steering wheel. The driver gets a full array of original instruments, including the coveted tic-toc-tach and white-faced auxiliary gauges on the console. This one feels so 1960s fresh, it even has the period-correct AM/FM radio. The big block L34 396 cubic-inch V8 nearly fills every inch under the hood with its 325 horsepower. One glance at the highly detailed engine bay, and you'll see there was no expense spared in this very important showpiece. It has been beautifully finished with correct Chevy orange paint on the block, a satin black background, and bright chrome on the air cleaner as well as the valve covers. If you like this kind of original appearance, then you'll love to know about this SS coupe's factory performance features such as the four-barrel Rochester carburetor, Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission, and Hurst shifter. This whole package makes a sweet rumble out of the dual exhaust as you row through the gears on the open road. But if you must stop, it's an easy affair thanks to power brakes with discs up front. Take a look at the original window sticker and note that you can still check off every major factory option on this Camaro. Then we will show you all the manuals, original dealer invoice, and all the other items from nearly 50 years of previous owners. Someone has made a great investment caring for this iconic big block Camaro SS, and now it's your turn to reap the rewards. A restomod that offers the ultimate pony car with more power, features, and modern technology than when it left the factory, that's what. As this was the final year for the first-generation Camaro, Chevy decided to give it some grown-up sexy curves with a new more angular front end, style lines that ran the entire side of the car, and a shapely rear. And it worked! Highlighting the bodywork on this fully restored beauty is a pristine red paint job with the kind of meticulous application that provides a clear indication of an expensive restoration. When this car was rebuilt it was also given some nice custom touches such as shaving the outriggers on the rear bumper, and adding an integrated third brake light into the rear spoiler for better safety. Up front the Endura bumper is color matched to give the front end a more unified look than most other '69 Camaros. The RS package is one of the best defining features of this era, with the blacked-out grille and headlights hidden behind the triple-slot door. It also includes the detailed oriented rally stripes, which gives the Camaro a red/black light/dark cool contrast. This is topped-off with the Super Scoop hood that announces to those who know American muscle that there is a beast lurking under the hood, and it is. Inside, one of the first things you'll notice is that the houndstooth bucket seats a hallmark of these classics have been restored to factory fresh condition. It also isn't a premium Camaro without the center console with full quad gauge package. Plus, the original horseshoe shifter is a cool piece to hold on to even if you're not trying to bang your own way through the three-speed automatic. But remember this is a restomod, which means there is a lot more inside than just stock Chevy parts. The stereo is a more modern digital tuner built to look like a classic knob-style radio. A new Vintage Air system seamlessly integrates modern AC into the existing vents. The fold-down ashtray has been replaced by a temperature gauge to make sure that there is no smoking inside the engine bay, and by default, inside the car and too. The only thing missing from this interior is a photo album to put all the included pictures and receipts from the extensive restoration/modification. This will be a necessity because everyone will want to know more details the moment you fire up the engine. One of the best parts of a restomod is usually under the hood, and this one doesn't disappoint. The 502 cubic inch big block crate motor is a larger and meaner V8 than anything Chevrolet ever did with the Camaro. Even at idle, it has an unmistakable growl thanks to a custom performance x-pipe dual exhaust. Power goes through a custom Ford 9-inch rear end. Is it sacrilegious to put a Ford axle in a Chevy? Not when it has a bulletproof reputation like this does. Every NASCAR must run them, despite the automaker. The 3.73 ratio in this rear was specially selected to match the torque in the motor. They couple to not only be quick off the line, but also cruise comfortable at highway speeds. This best-of-both-worlds attitude is also extended to the custom coilover rear suspension, front disc brakes, and 17-inch Budnik wheels that are larger and offer far superior grip than anything from stock. This is the kind of Camaro for those who like to be seen, heard, and envied. If you're not timid, it's time for you to call today! 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for Sale 1969 Chevrolet Camaro for Sale Stock # 3072-CHA Charlotte Showroom 5400 West WT Harris Blvd Charlotte, NC 28269 Local/International: (704) 598-2130 Toll-Free: (866) 542-8392 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Atlanta Showroom 213 Thornton Rd Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Local/International: (678) 279-1609 Toll-Free: (877) 367-1835 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] Dallas/Fort Worth Showroom 5400 Sandshell Dr Fort Worth, TX 76137 Local/International: (817) 764-8000 Toll-Free: (855) 877-2707 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM CST Sat: 9AM - 5PM CST Email: [email protected] Tampa Showroom 4610 Pet Lane Lutz, FL 33559 Local/International: (813) 501-1630 Hours: Tues - Fri: 9AM - 6PM EST Sat: 9AM - 5PM EST Email: [email protected] TERMS OF SALE 1. Great cars are being snatched up for strong money and big returns almost as fast as they hit our showroom! At RK Motors Charlotte, we retail more first class Chevys than anyone in the world. And in the second half of 2015, we've already sold TEN first generation Camaros to ten very satisfied owners. Our latest offering, this Concours Silver-winning Z/28, is a numbers-matching icon that, in addition to being fully documented, has been certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance. If you're a serious pony car enthusiast who's looking for a clean, correctly sorted showpiece, you're staring at your next classic! BODYWORK/TRIM Rolling out of a 4-year restoration in the summer of 2000, and fine-tuned in early 2004, this LeMans Blue gem is the product of A LOT of time spent sweating details. From its correct vinyl top to its NOS replacement quarters, the car's rock-solid metal displays craftsmanship that's nothing short of excellent. Not surprisingly, every seam between that metal's correct D80 spoilers has been aligned to better-than-factory fit. And ultimately, it all adds up to one super impressive F-Body that, despite being restored roughly 11 years prior, took home Concours Silver honors at the 2011 Muscle Car & Corvette Nationals. ENGINE Hoist the cowl induction hood and you'll find a 302 cubic inch Chevrolet small block that, according to Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance, is the car's original, numbers-matching engine. Straight from the General this exclusive package utilized high-flow, rectangular-port heads, a forged steel crank, forged steel rods and forged aluminum pistons to twist stout 11 to 1 compression into more than 350 horsepower! At the top of the dressed and detailed mill, a black, single-snorkel air cleaner swirls wind in to a correct Winters intake thanks to a familiar Holley carburetor. At the sides of that intake, authentic 'double hump' heads hang finned valve covers over shielded exhaust manifolds. At the back of those heads, a mandatory points distributor shoots spark through fresh Packard TV R Suppression cables. Naturally, the raucous V8's ancillary components are on-point, with fresh GM hoses, a tagged Delco battery and a tagged Delco Moraine brake booster accompanying a correct alternator and era-correct smog equipment. And an evenly sprayed combination of Chevy Orange skin and Satin Black framing is capped by full hood insulation. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION The ferocious powerplant twists torque through an original, MacNeish-certified Muncie, which twists an original, MacNeish-certified 12-bolt. That correctly tagged drivetrain rides a fully rebuilt and correctly tagged suspension, which centers beefy traction bars between correct, power-assisted brakes. There's a chambered exhaust system that terminates with polished tips. That system is framed by solid floors, which plant smooth Satin Black paint under vivid LeMans Blue overspray. And those floors roll on 15-inch Rallys, which spin E70-15 Goodyear Wide Tread GTs around dent-free trim rings and correct turbine center caps. INTERIOR Open this Camaro's solid-closing doors and you'll find a correct Blue interior that wraps correct Standard trim around clean, classic style. A familiar bucket and bench seating layout features optional front headrests. In front of those seats, a '69-exclusive dash hangs a correct tachometer and optional clock between a color-keyed pad and faux wood trim. At the base of that dash, a traditional F1 console frames a factory Hurst shifter. Below that console, a quartet of floor mats protects like-new carpet. At the edges of that carpet, Standard door panels center small armrests in pristine stainless hardware. In front of the driver, a fixed steering column spins a classy Rally Wheel. And behind the passengers, a solid trunk conceals a full-size spare tire. HISTORICAL INFORMATION A quick look at this Chevy's VIN, cowl tag and Protect-O-Plate authenticates its status as a correct, real-deal Z/28. This is exactly why we created the RKM Performance Center. Being proud members of SEMA, ARMO, HRIA and the North Carolina Motorsports Association, the RKM Performance Center is a nationally recognized shop; best known for high level OEM restorations and custom builds. It looks amazing and has some nice upgrades, so it surprises even us with the affordable price. They really did quite a nice job of building a Z/28 tribute in this restoration. The paintwork will easily be one of your favorite elements. It wears an interesting variation that's close to a factory Daytona Yellow, and a custom single matte back stripe that is much like the SS package. In total, this version stands out in a crowd without straying too far from a factory appearance. Workmanship is very good - you can see how straight this one is just from the photos and the reflections in the surface. You also can get a real idea of how carefully assembled this one is by checking the alignment of the deck lid spoiler, which fits better than even the factory could manage. The aggressive look is certainly helped by the chin spoiler up front, as well as the dual front split bumpers that makes way for Z/28's iconic large blacked-out grille. Chrome is at a minimum on this car, so you really take notice of the Torq Thrust wheels with Z/28 centercaps as a nice up-close touch. The black interior is so fresh it looks like a new one was installed during the restoration. This one has all the great iconic features you like to see such as the bucket seats with a center console, and of course, the horseshoe shifter. The right stock pieces are in place such as the heat/defrost controls, and sport steering wheel, but there are plenty of nice upgrades, too. This includes a full set of VDO gauges in a custom panel and an AM/FM/CD stereo. Open the hood and this one is dressed to impress. Chrome accessories with tidy hoses and wires command some serious attention. But beneath this great appearance is the serious substance of a Chevy 350 cubic-inch small block, upgraded with an Edelbrock intake and long tube performance headers. It produces a great rumble out of the dual exhaust. This is a power steering car with a TH350 three-speed automatic and front disc brakes. So it's more than just powerful, this Camaro is a comfortable cruiser. There's a lot to love about a recently restored 2nd generation Camaro. You only need to take a look at the undercarriage photos to see the high level of investment in this F-body. Originally, you might have thought you were just looking at a well-priced Camaro, but the deeper you dig, the more you'll see this is a fantastic buy. After all, everyone loves the design of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS convertible, and now finally you can reach up for that extra 5th gear you've always sought after. There's just something special about a 1st generation Rally Sport Camaro convertible. It has that cool iconic front end that hides the headlights behind stylized Rally Sport panels until they are needed (Detroit Speed electric headlight motors), and we love how the electronic folding roof keeps out the elements until you want sunny day cruising. It also doesn't hurt that this one has a killer paint package. The silver shines fantastically on this exceptionally straight body. It also is the perfect hue to coordinate with the main trim such as the black hockey stick stripe on the fenders, blacked-out grille, and black roof. This one also gets the details you really want correct, like the cowl induction hood and ducktail spoiler. Chrome is used sparingly so the bright details really standout in places like the pristine rear bumper, the RallySport badges on the fenders, and the aggressively staggered American Racing Torq Thrust alloy wheels. Just like the exterior, the interior is a nice complementing array of silver and black. In fact, this car's correct coded black vinyl bucket seats looks exceptionally original and absolutely nice. This is a driver-centric car, and so everything is within reach, from the AM/FM/cassette stereo, to the heat/defrost controls, to the switch for the power folding top. But the real control happens from the three-spoke sport steering wheel, and the stick shift. By now you have noticed the chrome Hurst leaver, but have you counted the gears yet? Do you see that extra one? Just as the fender callouts told you, this is powered is a 350 cubic-inch Chevy V8, but you know this one is different from the moment you pop the hood. Beyond the fantastic shiny elements that go great with the paint, this is a well-built performance engine. It's a quick revving, roller camshaft crate motor with less than 500 miles on it since instillation. These are very upgrade-able, and it already has some nice goodies like a performance intake and headers. For those who don't get to see the powerplant as you roll by, they will hear its monster power through the new Magnaflow dual exhaust with performance X-pipe construction. But it's not just the motor that has been upgraded. There are new suspension components, including tubular A-arms in the front, and shocks all around. Plus, as we've been alluding to before, this Camaro has been upgraded to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission. This package is not only great for handling some serious power (including any more you want to add,) but there's also something nice about having an extra gear in everyday life. Combine the flexible transmission with this coupe's power steering and front disc brakes, and this Camaro convertible is quite a nice top-down cruiser on those days when you don't want to be an intimidator. This is a recently restored street eating American muscle car. It's the right ragtop for those who like to drive their icons just as much as showing them off.
