Cars like this 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle always seem to have their priorities straight. Sure, it looks great and the interior\'s as comfortable as any Chevelle you\'ve seen, but the big dollars live under the skin, making this a seriously fast A-body with a slightly unique look that gets a ton of attention. Code 43 Lime Green was pretty popular in 1971, and now that it\'s been re-imagined using modern two-stage urethane it looks pretty amazing, don\'t you think? A bit out of the ordinary and definitely eye-catching, it gives this brute-force Chevelle a unique look that most folks will really like. The paint was done not too long ago, and while it\'s not for concours show, it really looks good at the local cruise night and hammering down the highway. Correct white SS stripes on a cowl-induction hood reinforce the performance look and I don\'t think I\'m alone in thinking that the \'71 Chevelles are the most attractive of the breed. There are a few flaws here and there, but they\'re easy to forgive once you hear the engine cackle and with bright chrome and nice detailing, the car still looks awesome from any angle. All the correct SS gear is in place, too, from the blacked-out grille to the small SS badge on the rear bumper, with all signs hinting to an original SS, despite the lack of paper validation. Modern bucket seats anchor a performance-oriented interior that improves on the already impressive Chevelle setup. More aggressive bolsters hold you in place for performance driving and despite the more modern look, those seats look right at home here, don\'t they? Even better, the back seat has been upholstered to match, so the entire interior has a very cohesive look and feel. Other upgrades include digital gauges in the original instrument pods, a grant GT steering wheel with a grippy leather rim, and a B%26amp;M shifter attached to the original Chevelle console, all showcasing some nice integration. A newer AM/FM/CD stereo system fits in the dash and powers speakers throughout the interior. Fresh carpets, a set of nice-looking SS door panels, and what might be the original headliner round out a rather nicely done interior. The trunk is finished with what appears to be the original mat and spare tire cover, as well as a remote-mounted battery to help with weight distribution. OK, OK, we\'re getting to the good stuff. The engine is an all-aluminum Dart big block that\'s not only potent, but it\'s also as light as a small block. Nice, right? It\'s fed by a functioning cold air box that feeds from the cowl induction hood and features a lot of race-grade parts including the aluminum valve covers, braided stainless fuel lines, and an MSD ignition system. The accessories tuck tight to the block and there\'s a big radiator up front to keep the lightweight big block nice and cool. It\'s backed by a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt rear end, so it never complains about the horsepower running through it and the sucker\'s ferociously fast. Spectacular long-tube headers feed an X-pipe and a brand new dual exhaust system that sounds wicked and the suspension sits exactly right to give it the perfect stance without killing ride quality. Staggered Budnik billet hoops fill the wheel wells with 215/50/17 front and 285/40/18 rear BFGoodrich performance radials. This is a Chevelle that really puts its money where its mouth is. Big power, bright paint, and no excuses. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom. For more information, please call (678) 279-1609 or toll free (877) 367-1835. It\'s no surprise that after all these years people dont get tired of Chevelle SS coupes, and the fact is, these are flat-out AWESOME cars in almost every way. There\'s a reason they sell so quickly, and this beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle with SS badging is an excellent example of why. The interesting thing about the GM Chevelle line is that they evolved, so each year looked a little different from the year before, but the intrinsic goodness of the car never varied. The single-headlight \'71 models have a cherished look about them, and this car has all the right pieces to make it a crowd-pleaser at the next cruise night. It looks quite fresh all around, with bodywork good enough to wear the dark green paint without any excuses. And with white SS stripes this car carries a traditional, yet muscular look that we\'ve all grown to love. The blacked-out SS grille looks fantastic and bright pieces like the bumper and fender trim add nice contrast. With a mean-looking stance and fresh 15\'\' rally wheels ensure that nobody mistakes this for your average grocery-getter. The interior was done right too, complete with black vinyl buckets, a horseshoe shifter, and a center console, all the goodies you want in your heavy cruiser. Like the exterior, the interior trim is extremely well done and looks correct, from the tight-fitting seat covers, to the door panels that still look new. It shows very little wear, mostly because this GM vinyl wears like granite, but also because someone has taken care of it. A modern Sony AM/FM/CD stereo head unit lives in its own custom housing just ahead of the center console, powering aftermarket speakers throughout the interior, so it sounds awesome. All the original gauges show bright pointers and clear markings, and a column mounted tachometer has been installed to keep an eye on engine revs. Additionally, three more auxiliary gauges have been added underneath to monitor volts, water temps, and oil pressure. Power comes from a 350 cubic inch V8. It moves the big A-body with ease and features some smart upgrades. A few dress-up pieces like the bright chrome air cleaner, and finned valve covers, help it stand out in the all-black engine bay. A 3-speed automatic transmission sends power to the rear end, and power steering and power brakes help the lucky driver maintain control. The small block breathes through a dual exhaust system with glass pack mufflers to create an intimidating presence. Finally, BF Goodrich Radial T/As measuring 235/60/15 at all four corners put the power to the road. Although there\'s no factory build sheet to go with this one, there\'s no doubt that whatever it was born as, it has all the right moves today. With all the right options and bulletproof mechanicals, this \'71 Chevelle can truly be enjoyed every day. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. This incredible pro-built 1970 Chevelle reads like a wish list for every car guy on the planet. Look past the price, which is still only a fraction of the build cost, and realize that you just won\'t get 720 horsepower, show-quality bodywork, and a fully engineered drivetrain all in one package for less than this. Add in the fact that it\'s downright gorgeous to look at, and you have a potential show winner that\'s ready to start taking home some really big trophies and put an equally large grin on your face. We don\'t like to call any car perfect around here, because no car is perfect, but this awesome Chevelle is awfully close. Thousands and thousands of dollars were poured into the sleek Chevelle to give it a classic look with a modern twist, and the end result looks spectacular. They wisely left the factory sheetmetal alone and simply focused on getting it laser-straight. Once that part was handled, they bolted it back together and made sure the gaps were exacting and the panels fit flush. There\'s a very subtle cowl-induction hood that practically vanishes against the silver paint, and if you look closely, you\'ll note that ghost stripes were added in the factory pattern. It was all buffed and polished to an impossible shine that still looks wet. Proper SS badges were added, a blacked-out grille installed up front, and bright chrome and stainless pieces sparkle against the silver paint. There\'s just no part of this car that wasn\'t carefully rendered, polished, and installed. The interior is a study in contrasts, and while it has a bench seat, there\'s nothing on this car that wasn\'t done for a reason. To keep the industrial-strength look and no-nonsense performance attitude, they simple used what was already there, restored it so show standards, and put it back together with some additional performance gear. The dash is full of Auto Meter gauges and the shifter shows five gears instead of the usual four, but otherwise it\'s fairly stock. Beautifully restored door panels (complete with factory power windows!) work with fresh carpets and a restored dash pad to give it a pretty authentic feel. There\'s no radio and perhaps there never was, but the A/C system is working as intended thanks to modern hardware behind the scenes. The trunk is beautifully finished and includes a professional-grade battery box and cut-off switch for safety. OK, OK, let\'s talk about that engine. It\'s a GM ZZ572R big block with a rating of 720 horsepower, and if that doesn\'t get your blood pumping, nothing will. It\'s an easy fit in the Chevelle\'s engine bay and it\'s surrounded with the best components possible. Aluminum heads, a high-rise intake with a giant Demon carburetor, 12.5:1 compression, and a bad attitude take this car beyond nasty. A serpentine belt setup handles the accessory drive and the giant aluminum radiator is cooled by electric fans so it doesn\'t get cranky, even in traffic. Long-tube headers feed a custom 3-inch exhaust system that sounds spectacular, even at idle. A Richmond 5-speed Super Street w/ Overdrive manual gearbox feeds a 12-bolt rear with 3.31s inside on a Posi, so it\'s happy on the highway just loafing along and with all that torque you don\'t need a lot of gear to get it moving. Hotchkiss suspension components, Baer 4-wheel discs, Bilstein shocks, and other components read like a who\'s-who of high performance, and the stance is just perfect. Custom Budnik aluminum wheels give it a high-tech edge and carry 245/45/17 front and 275/40/18 rear redline radials for a very trick retro look. There\'s so much more to this car that we can\'t possibly cover it all here. If you can afford it, this is a no-disappointments dream car that takes no prisoners. Call today! To most Chevelle fans, 1970 is the ultimate year, and that year, the top dog was unquestionably the SS 454. They also make fantastic resto-mods, as this 1970 SS ably demonstrates. With features like a 4-speed transmission C, 17-inch wheels that look perfect in the Chevelle\'s wheel wells, and a spectacular interior, this is a car that will be the center of attention anywhere it goes. If a subtle look is what you\'re looking for, painting a car burgundy metallic is a step in the right direction. However, once you add in a set of bright white SS stripes, a cowl induction hood, and a few SS badges, well, the jig is pretty much up. The Chevelle\'s muscular shape will never go out of fashion, and when they\'re as well done as this one, details like the subtle flared fenders and the relief line that runs from nose to tail tend to stand out even more. The chrome is nicely finished, with bright, clear bumpers fore and aft, and brilliantly polished stainless around the windows and wheel wells. Correct SS badges have been used on the front fenders, and a correct blacked-out SS grille carries the torch up front. The paint isn\'t perfect, but a professional cut-and-buff would really wake it up and take this cool A-body to the next level. Inside, the original bench seats are so nice that I have to believe that they\'ve been reupholstered, but the two-tone interior looks entirely appropriate to 1970. While seats, door panels, carpets, and headliner are original-style, it also adds goodies like a Hurst 4-speed on the floor and a set of auxiliary gauges under the dash. The door panels are correct SS pieces and given that the car has a round-gauge instrument panel, all signs point to this being a real SS. The original AM radio still lives in the dash, so they were obviously careful to respect the car, but a newer Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo was installed underneath where it stays out of sight and is easy to remove if you want to go full show with the car someday. The trunk is very nicely finished, too, and includes a reproduction mat and a jack assembly, which is often long-gone from cars like this. Powerful is the right word for the 427 living under the hood. The nicely dressed big block seems made for show with liberal doses of chrome, including the air cleaner, valve covers, and accessories, and the \'427\' decals make a rather bold statement. Up top there\'s an Edelbrock hi-rise intake and a Holley 4-barrel carburetor feeding a set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, and a set of long-tube headers manage the exhaust. Underneath, there\'s a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, a healthy Flowmaster dual exhaust system, and a fat rear sway bar to improve handling. A 12-bolt rear end manages to plant the power and power disc brakes do an adequate job of controlling the speed. Trick 17-inch wheels replicate the original factory SS wheels and carry fat 245/45/17 performance radials. If you\'re looking for a stock 1970 Chevelle, they\'re out there. But if you want a little more potent that always seems to draw a crowd in a way that no stock Chevelle can, this gorgeous resto-mod might be a smarter choice. And while it\'s tough to make modern wheels and tires look right on vintage iron, this car nails it with the right combination of style, size, and rubber. Call today! Save your E-mails, we know Chevy wasn\'t offering a small-block-powered SS in 1970, but this gorgeous Cranberry Red hardtop looks so good and runs so well, we don\'t think a few badges will stop you from falling in love. It is a correct V8 Chevelle with what we believe to be the matching-numbers engine, so who can blame a guy for loving the SS look? Giving a Chevelle an SS makeover isn\'t a new fad, but when you have one of the most attractive, popular, and downright nasty cars of the period, people tend to respect it. So when the time came for a restoration, they decided to go all-out and give this car a show-quality respray that would emulate one of Chevy\'s most potent machines. Finished in 2006, the ultra-straight bodywork is a tribute to the long hours it takes to achieve this kind of quality, and the glossy paint only serves to emphasize how nicely finished it really is. Black SS stripes on a cowl induction hood are a big part of the appeal of the SS model, so they were, of course, included, as well as the blacked-out SS grille and SS396 badges, which only help cement the illusion. Nice chrome bumpers, polished stainless fender trim, and proper emblems all add up to a car that looks right. The splendidly restored interior is dressed the way a high-performance Chevelle should be. New seat covers look crisply detailed and feel supportive when you slide inside, and a center console with horseshoe shifter is pretty much mandatory in any car with sporting intentions. The three-spoke steering wheel frames the instrument panel, the gauges are in good condition and the list of features includes a tilt wheel and factory A/C that was just serviced. A custom AM/FM/cassette stereo slides into the dash like the stocker would have, so no cutting was required and components like the door panels, dash pad, and carpets are in excellent condition. The trunk was also treated to a correct makeover, and includes a reproduction mat and a spare tire with matching cover. The 350 cubic inch V8 under the hood is likely the car\'s original powerplant. When it was rebuilt a few years ago, the block was decked so the numbers were wiped out, but the date codes line up properly and it is a sweet-running engine. Detailed to look quite stock, from the cowl-induction air cleaner to the Chevy Orange paint on the block, it packs enough punch to be a formidable performer in its own right. Backed by a slick-shifting TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end with 2.73 gears inside, it\'s an easy cruiser that makes cross-country drives feel effortless. A new dual exhaust system sounds right without being too aggressive, and it really is a clean car underneath. Factory-style SS wheels look awesome and carry 225/70/14 BFGoodrich T/A radials that looks almost new. Documented with an original build sheet, this is a really nice car that gets the look exactly right. With plenty of performance on tap, you probably won\'t miss the extra cubes and it helps make this a very affordable way to get the Chevelle you\'ve always dreamed of. Call today! If GM had unlimited time and money to spend building cars, perhaps every 1967 Chevelle would have looked as good as this SS396 convertible. It\'s a real code 138 SS and thanks to a stunning restoration with a few smart updates, it makes grown men stop in their tracks. If you\'re going to build a car that looks this brilliant and attracts this much attention, it had better be able to back it up. Fortunately, it\'s a real-deal SS396, so those looks should probably serve more as a warning than an invitation. Either way, this car is going to have eyeballs all over it wherever it goes, and the paint is just the beginning. The bodywork is crisp and smooth, with great character lines running through the side panels and good alignment on the doors. A stock hood with bright chrome inserts is far cooler than any generic cowl-induction piece would be, and the simple Chevelle look is only enhanced by the lack of a roof. The correct badges and emblems are retained and this car comes by the SS grille legitimately, so you don\'t have to worry about people calling it a fake. There\'s also nice chrome on the bumpers, shiny stainless around the windshield, and a nicely finished posterior, which is the view most folks will see on the street. If you\'re able to get close to this beast, you\'ll be happy to learn that the interior lives up to the standards set by the bodywork. New upholstery on the seats and door panels, a center console with a proper 4-speed shifter, and a handsome 3-spoke steering wheel that looks stock, but isn\'t quite. Sharp-eyed viewers and Chevelle experts will note that this is a factory A/C car, which is always a pleasant upgrade, and the center console still houses its original \"Gas Master\" vacuum gauge, ostensibly designed to improve fuel economy. The rest of the instrument panel is very nicely detailed, with shiny knobs and crisp gauges plus an AM/FM stereo radio in the center. Overhead there\'s a brand new black convertible top with correct plastic rear window, and the fit is so snug and wrinkle free that you could bounce the proverbial quarter off its surface. The trunk is also nicely finished with spatter paint, reproduction mats, a space-saver spare just in case, plus an Optima battery and master cut-off switch. That big block under the hood is a 1969-dated 396 cubic inch V8 that may look somewhat stock at a glance, but delivers the goods in a big way. A Weiand intake with a Holley 4-barrel makes the intake side, a Mallory Unilite distributor lights the fires, and a set of long-tube headers and a mandrel-bent Flowmaster exhaust system handle the exhaust. All told, it makes this a ferocious car on the street, but one that\'s happy enough idling in traffic and running pump gas, the perfect combination. It\'s also nicely detailed with Chevy Orange paint, a few chrome items, and lots of new equipment, including all the lines and hoses, brake master cylinder, power brake booster, and the aluminum radiator up front. The underside is extremely clean, with a 10-bolt rear end hanging just ahead of a new gas tank. It gets that awesome stance from a set of slick Torque Thrust wheels wearing staggered 225/40/18 front and 255/30/20 rear Toyo performance radials. Frame-off restorations aren\'t cheap, and if they didn\'t have to keep up with an assembly line, I bet the guys who built this car back in \'67 would have wanted every Chevelle to be this amazing.
