Finding a Corvette you can drive and enjoy is sometimes easier said than done. So many have been cut, hacked, or just abused that finding a tight, clean, unmolested C3 with no needs can be daunting. But this Mille Miglia Red \'71 Stingray is the right car at the right price, offering a lot of originality in a package that\'s just right for driving. Repainted a few years ago, this \'Vette shows only minor signs of being driven, which means that someone was absolutely fanatical about maintenance, because Corvettes are made to be driven. The bodywork was nicely done, not so perfect you\'re afraid to touch it, but nice enough to get a second or third envious glance from the guy in the Honda next to you at the red light. Gaps are good all around, and if you prefer the chrome bumpers, the \'71s are a great choice. Factory T-tops are the next best thing to a convertible you\'re going to find, and they\'re a great choice if you\'re the kind of guy who likes to take his Corvette on long road trips because you won\'t arrive at your destination feeling like you just went five rounds with Mike Tyson. There are a few touch-ups here and there, which are perfectly OK on a car that is being used as intended, and this one offers bright paint and enough bright trim to get noticed. And speaking of chrome, everything is nicely finished and polished, including the side pipes, which transform any Corvette into an intimidating street predator. The black interior appears to be largely original and shows a nice, authentic patina that should make traditional Corvette fans smile. The seat covers offer textured inserts that are both grippy and comfortable if you\'re cruising in the sun, and the center console puts most of the secondary controls at your fingertips. The original gauges look remarkably crisp and bright, showing off what you got in 1971 if you were lucky enough to take a car like this home. A newer AM/FM/cassette stereo has been fitted, but otherwise the controls are 100% factory, including the 4-speed manual transmission, which makes a big difference in the driving experience. 1971 was also the final year for the cool fiber-optic light monitoring system in the center console. There\'s decent storage space behind the seats, again showing lots of originality that should be preserved rather than erased with new pieces. The original and strong-running 350 cubic inch engine is a great choice if affordability, reliability, and great handling are on your wish list. Chevy Orange paint was applied to the block while it out of the car and it uses a stock-style chrome air cleaner with twin snorkels on the intake side. The engine bay is pretty darned clean, suggesting that this car has led a good life in a dry climate, and while this car isn\'t heavily optioned, it does have a lot of authenticity, including the chrome ignition shield. Cast iron \"ram\'s horn\" exhaust manifolds are both durable and efficient, and feed those glorious side pipes that give this Corvette that fat sound that\'s been intimidating other cars since the \'60s. Power steering, power brakes, and what appear to be a fresh set of shocks give it pleasant road manners that are good for either around-town driving or a cross-country jaunt. Factory Rally wheels with fat 235/70/15 BFGoodrich radials fill the fenders perfectly, making this car look fast just sitting still. If you\'re looking for a comfortable, flashy Corvette to enjoy next summer, this is the one. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom. You can always count on the Pontiac GTO to generate attention, and when you paint it bright red like this 1967 hardtop, you\'d better be prepared to be treated as a 1-car parade! With a stout 400 cubic inch V8, lots of options, and a great stance, this is an affordable Goat that you can drive without worries. Originally Plum Mist, which is definitely a love-it-or-hate-it color, this GTO received a more popular shade of bright red when it was restored a few years ago. The \'67 model was perhaps the pinnacle of GTO styling, with a sleek look, voluptuous quarter panels and handsome stacked headlights, and the makeover does nothing to diminish any of that. Instead, it draws attention to the GTO\'s finer points, starting with good bodywork that looks straight and fits together rather well. It\'s not a show car, so you shouldn\'t be afraid to get it dirty by driving it, but for folks who know GTOs, they\'ll see this one and nod approvingly when it\'s being used as intended. The simplicity of the design is accentuated by nice chrome and stainless trim, including nicely integrated bumpers, wire mesh grilles up front, and, of course, somewhat subtle GTO badges that let the shape speak for itself. After all, the GTO was always from the \"speak softly and carry a big V8\" school of thought. With a red exterior, nothing works better inside than basic black. Sure, you could do white or parchment or something like that, but if you want a no-nonsense performance look, black buckets in your GTO is always the right choice. The seat covers, carpets, and door panels are in fine condition, indicative of a restoration completed not too long ago, and with a center console and woodgrained dash, the GTO offers a dash of sophistication to go with its performance, as always. Round gauges appear to be original and give the dash a vaguely European look, framed by an original steering wheel that is only just now starting to show its age. A Hurst dual-gate shifter (fondly called the \"His-N-Hers\" shifter) allows for gated shifts much like today\'s manumatics, and makes the idea of an automatic transmission in a muscle car a lot more palatable. Options include factory A/C that\'s now powered by R134a refrigerant and a later AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit that\'s probably been there since Regan was president. GTO-logo floor mats and a correctly outfitted trunk with full-sized spare round out a very cleanly finished driver\'s compartment. Pontiac\'s bespoke V8s were always the weapons of choice in the performance wars and this GTO carries a 1971-vintage YS-coded 400 cubic inch V8, so performance issues are non-existent. Chrome valve covers and air cleaner lend a factory look while corporate engine enamel makes it stand out. It\'s nicely finished and fully functional, complete with power steering and brakes and a fresh Flowmaster dual exhaust system that barks out the most amazing V8 burble. A rugged TH400 3-speed automatic transmission never hesitates when all that torque is churning through it and a 10-bolt rear end plants the power without a whimper. Factory Rally II wheels and 215/70/14 Firestone radials ensure that the car looks and sits right. Fresh out of long-term ownership, this is a driver-grade Goat and there\'s no shame in that. Still beautiful to look at and a blast to drive, it\'s one of the most affordable early GTOs we\'ve featured but no less appealing than its more expensive siblings. Call today! Every once in a while, a spectacular car lands in our showroom and everyone sits up and takes notice. This gorgeous 1965 Corvette carries its original, numbers-matching 327, a 4-speed, air conditioning, and a gorgeous leather interior. An extremely high-quality car, this Rally Red coupe is the mid-year Corvette to own if you appreciate the virtues of a lightweight small-block\'s handling. Corvette restorers know that getting a mid-year Corvette to look right is a balancing act. They have to be nice to compete at high levels, but they can\'t be too perfect, so they are among the most challenging cars to restore properly. This one has super straight fiberglass, great panel gaps, and superb fit and finish, but it\'s more like it\'s brand new rather than over-restored (you Corvette guys know exactly what I\'m talking about). The Rally Red paint is in great condition and totally nails the performance look that we\'ve all been dreaming of since we were kids drawing cars in study hall. With sharp details, correct badges, and that fantastic Stingray profile, this is arguably the best looking car to come out of GM styling studios in the 1960s. In addition, the chrome is excellent, the badges are beautifully rendered, and bumpers were refinished just a few months ago, so they look crisp and bright. The code 402 black leather bucket seat interior is a wonderful contrast to the red bodywork, and presents in outstanding condition with restored components throughout. Sure, it was originally black \"standard\" vinyl, but if you\'re going to restore a car like this, why not add a factory-correct upgrade? The soft, inviting seats have been fully restored using exact reproduction seat covers, the door panels have been finished to match, and brand new carpets were installed in 2013. The dash pad hugs the dual cockpit dashboard more tightly than when new with gauges that appear to be very nice originals, suggesting a car that has always been cherished. And yes, the mileage of 69,826 is believed to be authentic. There is, of course, a 4-speed manual transmission, the right choice for your Corvette if you love to drive, and it\'s housed in the original center console, which was standard equipment. This car also includes a rather rare AM/FM radio, which was cutting-edge tech in 1965. The original, numbers-matching 327 under the hood snarls through the dual exhaust pipes some kind of caged animal. With prodigious torque, it\'s the ideal companion for cruising, with the ability to humble some pretty serious machinery in the stop light grand prix. Details under the hood include Chevy Orange paint on the engine itself, the original chrome ignition shield and air cleaner, and correct finned valve covers with Corvette script. A Vintage Air Gen V A/C system was recently installed and uses R134a refrigerant. Underneath, it\'s sanitary for a car that gets driven, there\'s a new reproduction exhaust system, and 1965 is a great year to own because standard 4-wheel discs arrived on the Corvette. Beautiful knock-off alloys wear correctly sized 215/70/15 redline radials for a correct look with a modern feel. Blue chip investments don\'t get much better than a matching-numbers mid-year Corvette that you can actually use and enjoy without guilt. Call today! Why spend thousands more on a GTO just to get those three little letters on the side? If you\'re a Pontiac fan on a budget, you shop for cars like this 1967 LeMans, which has been quite neatly restored and upgraded without erasing its identity. First off, this might be one of the nicest $20,000 cars we\'ve ever seen. The color is exemplary, reproducing the original code DD Montreaux Blue. On the sleek LeMans profile, it looks outstanding and whomever did the work should have gotten a bonus, because it\'s dazzling. From the stacked headlights up front to the gills in the quarter panels to the chrome-rimmed tail panel, there\'s no mistaking this Pontiac for anything else and while folks are admiring the car, there\'s nothing that will disappoint them. Gaps are good, the paint shines up beautifully, and it just has that look that says this is a very fast car. I always appreciate it when restorers stick to the factory recipe, so it has all the original badges, including the \'326\' emblems on the front fenders (which I\'ll get to in a moment) and the factory-issued grilles up front. No fake GTO stuff, not trying to be something it\'s not, just a well-executed LeMans that can stand proud on its own merits. The bucket seat interior was also restored back to pretty much factory specs. New seat covers, bright blue carpets, and fresh door panels give it a ready-to-use look that needs no excuses. Deep-set round gauges emphasize Pontiac\'s fascination with the European look, and the wood-rimmed wheel looks right in the sporty interior. That Hurst badge on the rear fascia isn\'t just for show, there\'s a \"his and hers\" gated shifter in the console, one of Pontiac\'s more entertaining ideas for those who chose the TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Extensive servicing means that all the little stuff works like it should, like replaced light bulbs throughout, lock systems that were aligned and lubricated, and all the other stuff that you just never get around to doing but annoys you every time you drive the car. Well, it\'s already done. A digital AM/FM radio went into the dash, and it has the ability to upgrade to a CD changer or iPod interface in the future. And you can take to the road with confidence, since there\'s a full-sized matching fifth wheel in the trunk, complete with a jack assembly. Pontiac\'s 326 cubic inch V8 is a tough engine that likes to run, so they kept one under the hood when the car was restored. It\'s a nice combination of OEM looks with aftermarket flash, and it means you\'ll never shy away from opening the hood and showing it off. Chrome valve covers, an open-element air cleaner, and Pontiac Turquoise paint on the block look dynamite in the satin black engine bay, with an Edelbrock carb and intake adding some much-appreciated horsepower. Everything has been recently and extensively serviced (call us for details), so it\'s ready to run, and the fresh Flowmaster dual exhaust system sounds downright nasty behind the stout small block. The 17-inch wheels are trick replicas of the Rally II and wear 275/40/17 performance radials that emphasize the raked stance. A great-looking Pontiac that isn\'t trying to be anything but cool, and it totally succeeds. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. Few cars capture the spirit of the muscle car hobby quite like cars like this 1971 Chevrolet Corvette. With a storied V8, a beautiful color combination, and a convertible top...it\'s a great buy! If you\'re looking for a great place to park your money then take a look at this low mileage, NCRS documented Stingray. Red is certainly one of the best looking and best selling colors on a Corvette, and this one wears its correct Mille Miglia Red finish very well. Walking around this car, it\'s obvious it has lived a very pampered, and well maintained life. The bright work shines and the traditional vette crossed flag badges still present vivid colors. The fiberglass panels line up evenly and show smooth surfaces. When you need protection from the elements, a white vinyl top folds up, and fits snug all around. With the top up or down, this car has a classic and muscular look that sits on clean rallye wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber. When the selection box for the red vinyl interior was checked on this Stingray, it was certainly the right choice. The great looking interior you\'re greeted by when you open the doors on this Corvette is just plain cool and fun! The bucket seats wear the vinyl covers tightly. The door panels are also covered in red and so is the crack-free dash. That dash holds clear gauges, including the center gauge pod that hosts a clock, fuel, water temperature, oil pressure and amperage gauges. The three spoke steering wheel adds a nice contrast that tops a tilt steering column. Other amenities include power windows, an AM/FM radio, air conditioning, heat, and defrost. Tilt the hood forward and cradled in the clean engine bay is the original 350 cubic inch V8 that twists out a solid 270 horsepower. Everything remains stock, but the carburetor was rebuilt two years ago so you can be sure this engine runs well. Mated to that V8 is 4-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the factory rear end. Components also remain stock underneath with power disc brakes all around supplemented by power steering. With fresh hardware throughout, this car is ready to provide its new owner with many more miles of great sunny day cruises. It doesn\'t get much better than a clean and original Corvette that sports less than 31K miles for an addition to any collection. Add in the NCRS documentation, and a reproduction window sticker that also comes with the car, and you have a Corvette that is poised to be a great investment. This is an opportunity you don\'t want to miss. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Charlotte showroom. For more information, please call (704) 598-2130 or toll free (866) 542-8392. One of the last cars granted homologation entry for NASCAR\'s premier racing series was the 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2 Aerocoupe like you see here. Approximately 1225 units were produced for one year only and all were considered a \"no option car\", but actually came fully loaded. This 1986 Grand Prix 2+2 is a rare opportunity to own a collectible car that is part of NASCAR history. All 2+2 models came finished in two-tone silver over dark gray paint job that is highlighted with red pinstriping. The headlights are clear and the rear tail lamps are vivid and crack free with \'GP\' logos placed in the middle. Also specific to these models is the aerodynamic front nose, fiberglass trunk with an integrated spoiler, and bubble rear glass that resembles the same profile of Chevrolet\'s NASCAR homologation entry in \'86 and \'87, the Monte Carlo Aerocoupe. Sitting on 15\'\' Rally II wheels, it\'s a very unique shape and features familiar styling of the cars we knew as \'muscle cars\' in the late 80\'s. Being that the Grand Prix was a sport luxury automobile, the cabins on these cars rivaled high end luxury cars of the time. The plush seats are covered in comfortable gray cloth upholstery, and given the \'2+2\' name, you would think there was only room in the rear for two, but there is a bench seat with seatbelts for three that is covered in the same cloth. The center console features an armrest that encloses a large storage compartment, the shifter for the automatic transmission, and an ash tray. Up front, the dash is clean and straight with a classy wood appliqu%26Atilde;%26copy; surrounding vents for the air conditioning unit and the gauges that monitor speed, RPM, fuel levels, oil pressure, water temperature, and voltage. Below the switches for heat and A/C is an aftermarket AM/FM/CD head unit. Other amenities include cruise control, power windows, power locks and a tilt wheel. Motivation for this coupe comes from a Chevrolet 305 cubic inch V8 that is mated to a automatic transmission. That stout transmission transfers the power to the positraction 10 bolt rear end. The engine bay maintains most of the stock components, but there is an aftermarket air cleaner that has been painted red, and so have the fender braces to match. Put this car on a lift and much of it will look very familiar. There isn\'t any fancy hardware, but it\'s interesting to think that if you were to take a NASCAR Cup car from the same era and put it on a lift, it would look fairly similar. Today that wouldn\'t be the case. To assist in driving this coupe in day to day conditions is power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and 235/60/R15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber putting it all to the road. With very few of these \'86 Grand Prix 2+2 Aerocoupes being produced, or surviving, a chance to actually own one doesn\'t come around very often. When you factor in the limited, one year only production then it certainly has collector status. Throw in the fact that it was built for NASCAR regulations, then that status increases. Call today! This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is an affordable and fun way to get some high performance practicality in your life. With a long list of recent work, including a snarky 355 cubic inch V8, this anthracite hauler offers impressive performance to go with its wonderful good looks. The low-key color on this car works really well to keep it under the radar, but up close you\'ll note that it sparkles with depth and offers a lot of interesting details that make this car stand out from the garden-variety El Caminos you\'ve been looking at. To start, the sheetmetal is very straight, so it fits together very well and the reflections in its surface are clear, so you know they took their time putting it together. You\'ll note a subtle cowl induction hood was added, and the central dome was painted black for a little contrast, then outlined with a hand-painted pinstripe that really sets it off. Additional pinstripes were added along the flanks of the car and it transforms the utilitarian Elky into something much more sophisticated. Painting the lower edges of the body black also enhances the long, low look without disturbing the car\'s clean original lines. It might be done hauling gear for you, though, because the glossy black bed is simply gorgeous, and you\'ll probably have a hard time throwing anything rougher than a towel back there today. The interior is equally tasteful with its upgrades, starting with a set of low-back bucket seats wrapped in comfortable gray fabric. Custom door panels were stitched up to match, and it\'s nice to see that they glanced at the factory design to make it look right, but didn\'t just order up a set of repro panels and call it a day. There\'s more attention to the little things on the dashboard, which is covered in a rather convincing burled walnut applique that even extends to the auxiliary gauge panel under the dash. Factory gauges include a somewhat rare tachometer, and the car is loaded with options like factory A/C and a tilt column. Somewhere along the line it received an Alpine AM/FM/cassette stereo head unit that still sounds good. A trick B%26amp;M shifter between the seats gives it a bit of a racy feel when you\'re driving it, and unlike many of its siblings, there\'s a full-sized spare with cover stashed behind the passenger\'s seat. The engine is a freshly built 355 cubic inch V8 with just 1500 test and tune miles on it. An upgraded camshaft, ported and polished heads, and an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with 650 CFM Holley carburetor ensure that it\'s more than just a warmed-over stocker. The A/C system was serviced and converted to R134a refrigerant, and a few chrome dress-up pieces look great in the all-business engine bay. Backed by a built TH400 3-speed automatic with a 2800 RPM stall torque converter and 4.11 gears on a Posi in the 12-bolt rear, there\'s enough strength here for a lot more horsepower. Long-tube headers help build torque and it sounds rather menacing at idle. Big 15-inch aluminum wheels have a period look and carry staggered 225/70/15 front and 275/60/15 rear Goodyear radials. Affordable El Caminos are getting harder to find all the time. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Dallas/Fort Worth showroom.
