This 2004 VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE GLS TURBO CONVERTIBLE comes with a 6 month / 7500 mile power train warranty. The current mileage is only 50,600 ! The body , paint and top are in great shape . The Leather interior is very clean and is free of smoke and pet odors . I have all of the service records for this car from day one ! All four tires are brand new and we just replaced the timing belt and water pump . The EPA fuel economy rating for this car is 28 MPG . This car is a blast to drive with the top up or down ! This car has a very rare combination of options 5 Speed manual transmission , 1.8 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine , Alloy wheels , Dual front and side airbags , Power windows , Power door locks , Power convertible top , Fog lights , ABS , Heated leather seats , Keyless remote entry , Monsoon AM / FM / CD , AC and the list goes on . Runs EXTREMELY good and smooth with no unusual squeaks or rattles. This vehicle is very responsive with no unusual noise of any type coming from the engine or transmission. No observed dings. tires are at least 7/32 ICE COLD AIR. EVERYTHING WORKS AS NEW. The vehicle brakes straight with no pulsation or pulling. There is no smoke odor and stills smells new. The interior is immaculate and shows very minor, normal wear on carpet and factory mats. The leather is VERY GOOD COSMETIC CONDITION. Mechanically: During my test drive nothing negative was found to report here. Drove like a brand new BEETLE Cosmetically: Overall in extremely good cosmetic condition. Always garage kept car. You are looking at a nice 2005 Volkswagen Beetle with only 55,100 original miles. This Beetle was involved in a previous accident in 2010 and does have a rebuilt title, which was taken into account when pricing this vehicle. Overall condition is fair, there are no major dents, scratches or dings. The bumpers have some minor scuffs and there is a small crack at the bottom of front bumper. Interior is in good shape, there are no tears or rips in the leather. Door panels are not worn out like many of these. Convertible top is in good condition, it was previously repaired in two places but functions perfectly and does not leak. Mechanically - this vehicle has no known problems. There are no warning lights on the dash, AC is ice-cold, all switches and window motors work perfectly. Tires and brakes were recently replaced and have plenty of life left. Transmission shifts very smoothly, it was just serviced and valve body replaced at a cost of $1,500 (have all records). PLEASE NOTE - these beetles have a manufacturer's defect in the transmission valve body, there was a class-action lawsuit against VW for this defect. If you google "2005 beetle transmission problems" - you will see numerous complaints. If there are no records of transmission valve body being replaced, it will most likely fail and you will be stuck with a $1,500+ bill.
