Triple black 1979 convertible with 46,550 original miles. Upgraded stereo system with CD player and AM/FM stereo radio (original radio comes w/vehicle for reinstall, if desired). Vinyl seats and interior in very good condition except for a 6" tear on the driver seat. Convertible top is great considering it is almost 40 years old. Top is fully insulated and seals up well, fitting perfectly into the matching black boot. Body has no rust and paint has been maintained in an ultra smooth condition and finish. All glass, rubber gasketry, chrome etc, is original. Clean and tidy trunk area and engine bay makes this one super nice super Beetle convertible. I am the third owner. The car has been garage-kept all it life and has never seen rain except for that rare occasion when I was out for a country drive and was surprised by a passing rain cloud. The car starts up and drives well and is solid. It runs better than I do, considering it is almost 40 years old. “Driver seat is solid but a has slight wobble with a 6" tear (see picture), Roof is original with no tears but could use some padding, AC worked but was disconnected it years ago, turns freely, inside liner is all there but it is dingy from age, Speedometer cable broke last month, just got a new one, but it functions properly, No body rust but some minor stuff underneath and in runners (got new ones).”

It drives like a normal vehicle with the exception of the rear damages on account of the accident (please reference photos). Runs great low miles,no leaks,I bought to repair and resell, real busy these next few weeks so here you go.If shockingly no sale Ill fix the few things and relist in a few weeks for a whole lot more.I was told the water pump is leaking,I havent confirmed.I do know the rear left wheel abs sensor needs to be replaced and the airbag light is on and shows right front seatbelt ignitor bad...small common exhaust leak on the down pipe right off the manifold in the flex joint.....another easy repair..... So a waterpump and a few little things and you have a fairly low mile 5 speed bug that had only 2 previous owners,both women.Has some normal scuffs and scratches,only real damage is right rocker which is a common sight on these bugs.Interior is nice.A/C is cold heat is hot. Has real easy rolling manual windows which i love.4 real good tires.Keyless entry,One key with remote.Would be an easy drive home car but not with the leaking pump.Most likely original as is probably timing belt.No games or nonsense,worth every penny of the buy it now, low offers will be declined. ...trailer it home.Clear NY title in hand.Deposit due immediately at auction close. 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle in good running condition. This Beetle has lots of time and money put into it and has many new and upgraded parts. Front disk brake conversion, rebuilt engine, new interior, power locks and alarm, new aftermarket sound system, Grant steering wheel, new tires, battery, Empi dual chrome exhaust, short shift kit, new shocks, ignition switch, newer paint. Runs and shifts good after a minute of warm up, has been in storage for a while, much more fun to drive than stock with the short shift kit. Body and paint look nice, but are not perfect. Front valence has some paintwork from a previous dent, left rear fender has some old bubbles in it. Valves have been adjusted and timing reset, new with new gas filters. Always gets looks and thumbs up when I drive it. Floorboards were already redone and still look good as it has only minor surface rust visible. Car was previously red and repainted black and the previous color can be seen in the engine compartment area and trunk. Lights and wipers work as they should. No spare tire. It does have a Sunroof, but I don't have the nerve to try to see if it will open and close at this time in its life, although the crank does work properly. Hood has a quarter size touch up on it not visible in the pics. A nice, good running classic Beetle with lots of time and money put into it you will enjoy driving and owning.
