It is a 6 speed manual transmission, with the original 3.2L engine. All original equipment including the rare factory Sport Package that included the 996 GT3 front bumper, Aero II side skirts, and Spyder humps. The convertible top is in great condition. Factory Euro HID headlights look brand new, Factory Euro tail lights and turn indicators. Also will come with a factory Porsche car cover, 2 keys, original sticker sheet, and manuals. No leaks (photo of underside of engine bay is attached), Tire/brake life is good. Service with brake flush and oil change were just performed, as well as a safety inspection at the dealer. Overall, this 2001 Boxster S is in good condition, especially for a 16 year old car. It has under 95k miles, good leather seats, brand new front tires, upgraded stereo/head unit and upgraded Carrera wheels. There is a scratch over rear driver's side wheel, which you can see in the picture. One of the reasons I'm selling is due to our parking situation, we currently don't have a garage or off street parking and the Boxster has been dinged because of it. OPTIONAL HARD TOP!!! Convertible top and motor are in outstanding shape, as well. I absolutely love driving this Boxster S, it's my third one!! But with out parking situation, it just doesn't make sense to keep her. We bought her mid-summer and there have been several owners prior to me, but from what I can tell it has been maintained very very well. I did replace the front tires and the Mass Air Flow sensor about two months ago, and the oil was changed recently, as well. Likely I'll look for another fun ride this summer, but for now this one is for sale. I'll do my best to answer any and all questions and thanks for looking. I bought with 92k miles. but has new motor with under 1k miles, real s type motor from Porsche when I bought it the check engine light was on. I called to dealer to find out about rebooting the computer and they said I was very lucky that my vin goes to a car that has a recall on the motor and would install a new create Porsche s type motor and they will pay for all labor. motor got replaced but check engine light is still on. did replace maf sensor already only driven under 200 miles since motor replaced. has always run and drove. motor ran perfect before it was replaced, but it was free so why not. does have some minor wear, normal stuff, seats leather cracking, maf light. body is over call good just some minor scratches . but all the big stuff is good. motor is new, tranmisson is perfect, top is in good condtion and body is free from major damage and title is clean. if I fix seat with new covers, gets scratches repainted so looks perfect for 500 and fix maf light I will list it on ebay for 15k firm price and get it . the s type is a 9k option alone for this model and makes it comparable to 911 with handling and power. I will take 10k firm, not a penny. if not I will hold onto car and get to it eventually when im done with some projects im working on now text only if you have cash avbl 5613one25447 I have a passion for cars and learned to work on them. if you don't know anything about cars as some Porsche owners don't know the first thing or even how to change oil. please don't call I just don't have time to explain basics to you. the check engine light is one for the maf. computer needs to be flashed. previous owner drove this as daily driver in this condition. once fixed it will release all of the power. shifts great. great deal for someone. Nicely equipped with optional Euro lights & side markers, Porsche HiFi Sound System ,Cruise control, Auto temp controls and more.Factory top replacement with Factory Glass rear window upgrade is in excellent condition. This super low mile Porsche Runs great and looks even better. Like any used car there are some signs of use, but the low miles are evident in the way this car presents. The drivers seat side bolster shows some wear, and has been repaired at some point. The driver s door map pocket spring is weak. No cracks in the dash or other signs of wear. Car is in excellent condition only has 23,000 miles. Needs to be driven. Just had all maintenance and fluids changed: - Oil and Filter - Transmission fluid and filter - Brake fluid flush - Coolant flush - New drive belt - New power steering high pressure line with check valve and new fluid - New air filter and mass air sensor - New spark plugs and spark plug tubes - IMS shaft bearing replaced - All stock with NO aftermarket modifications Car is clean with normal wear and tare for a 13 year old car overall excellent condition. The carfax is excellent with no accidents. Tires and brakes are in good condition. Car needs nothing that I am aware of or it would have been done. One rim has curb rash and there are some small dents on the car that can probably be popped out by dent doctor. If car needs to be shipped I have no problem working with you and the shipping company. I have multiple cars and looking to make more room for the winter. Purchased car for wife as her second vehicle to drive on sunny days.
