For Sale 1981 Camaro Race car $4,500 obo This is a FAST 1981 Dirt track race car less motor, carburetor and distributer. This is a professionally built frame for dirt track racing on an 1981 Camaro ( $4,500). It is very fast and was a front running car at Cleveland and Edna, Tx. 3 wheel disc brakes as the right front has a blank HD hub and adjustable brake bias valve. Stock lower control arms. Replacement rebuildable ball joints. After market front end parts including spindles, hiem rod ends all around, HD connecting links, tie rods and connecting link ($2,800 in parts). All HD front end parts are from Day Automotive. The upper control arms are tubular replacements with the correct length for circle tack cornering (short on the right side, long on the left side). The front end was computer setup and printout available. Adjustable weight jaks up front. The rear end is a 9in Ford full floater with 6.00 gears, full spool, aftermarket 31 spine axles and light weight rear disc brakes. 5in bolt circle with 5/8 studs on all axles. 20 gal fuel cell, custom wiring system, Kirkley racing seat, 2 quick disconnect steering wheels, racing power steering and Z28 quick steering box and 2.0/1 steering multiplier. New seat belts for 2021. Straight frame and very sturdy roll cage, aluminum side panels. Fiberglass roof and Hood. New battery in 2021. Brinn 2 speed racing transmission with new clutch pack 2021 season. Steel bell housing and mini high torque starter. Hydraulic clutch. For extra cost I have a rebuilt non-sealed 602 available for $2,8oo. (The engine is a 358 ci 10 /1 compression externally balanced rotating assembly, non-sealed 602, original hydraulic lifter camshaft). Car comes with a double pass radiator, new MSD-6AL ignition. Very reliable and powerful ignition system. Installed new QA-1 rebuildable shocks properly valved for each wheel in 2021. We raced this car once last year at Cleveland, Tx in street stock class to break-in the engine. This car has lots of track time left in it. The wheels are 15 x 8 x 5in bc with H500 tires. There are over $15,000 in parts in this car. Included with the car are 5 extra tires and wheels, extra bad lock, extra wheels, axle spacers, 2 tie rods, shackle, steel bushings for control arms, extra lower control arms over ($2,200) in costs. All tires have good tread. I also have a complete new Performance Bodies slab body that fit this car ($1,500) that can be purchased separately for $750. This car needs a younger driver and hit the track with an engine that meets your local rules. I suggest you buy this-car less motor & transmission. The engine is not sealed! SUPER SLICK RED PAINT, SMOOTH RUNNING MOTOR, NICE BEETLE READY FOR THE ROAD! Sometimes, you just can't go wrong with the basics. This nicely finished 1969 Volkswagen Beetle isn't wildly modified, but bright red paint definitely makes it stand out in the crowd. It also offers the charm of the early, pre-Super Beetle era, including small marker lights and a flat windshield, which are preferred by collectors. Bright red paint looks great on the trademark Beetle curves, but to really make it shine, you need to get a straight one. Unfortunately, a lot of folks don't think VWs are worth the restoration investment, and that's why you need a good, clean original. Even though the paint is now a few years old, it's obvious that this was always a good, clean southern car and the paint has held up quite well despite this being a car that's hard to resist when the sun is shining. This unmolested Beetle fits together extremely well and the doors open and close with just a light touch. There's a single strip of bright trim running the length of the body that dresses it up, and the rest of the chrome appears to have an excellent original patina.
