A very very clean well maintained survivor. I am the second owner since new. I am an auto enthusiast and I just had to buy this car when I saw the condition that it was in. I have owned it and used it for the tune of 20,000 miles in 10 years. I have always kept it clean, dry , garaged and well maintained. just as the original owner did. I will most likely regret selling it but I need room in my garage for other projects. the car is near mint. rust free, everything works, cold A/C, even the rotary clock works. the blemishes that I need to mention are two pieces of plastic trim below the vinyl top are cracked and short lived. I have been unable to locate new ones. the other is at some point a flaming idiot was smoking a cigarette in the passenger seat and put marks in the velour above the arm rest (not terribly noticeable ). worse yet when he threw his cigarette out the window it landed on the beautiful back seat and burned a hole in it.(see pictures). This can be repaired by replacing one pleat in the rear seat. I put rally wheels on the car a few years ago , I think it looks great. but I have the original wheels, spoke hubcaps, and locks. they will go with the car if the new owner wants them. I just put new exhaust on the car . about six years ago I replaced the water pump, radiator and the heater core. This car runs, drives, sounds and handles as good as it looks. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. If anyone has specific questions , don't hesitate to call 845-590-1076. As can be seen in the questions to seller box, I was asked to elaborate on the accident that shows up in the vehicle history report, I had some kind of issue posting only half my answer to him. I am not really able to elaborate much because I did not own the car then, and it came to me as a surprise seeing it on the listing. Only thing I can say is that I am a very contentious car guy and have never noticedanything indicating any serious damage of any kind. I think it is safe to say it was in some kind of minor accident requiring minor repair, as indicated in the report it says no major damage reported, or something to that affect.I'm certain any educated car guy/or Gal who looked the car over would agree. Sorry for the half response to the person asking the question. Not sure what happened there.

1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 This was my project car but I'm out of a job so now it has to go.What's brand new: Battery.Fluids, filters due to oil change by Havoline Express. (ASE certified technicians)Alternator (back then, known as generator).Spark Plugs and distributor cap.Pre-heater hose.Fuses.License Plates, Tags. What's in decent shape:Carburetor. (Was sprayed very well with Gum-out, carburetor cleaner).Tires.Brakes.Heater. Many small items still need attention but a DIY'er would be able to manage without much cost as these parts are available at car part stores for cheap:Old belts (causes squealing at start up and when heater is on, not included.)Ventilation Ducts for driver and passenger (need to be assembled but the parts are included).Wiper Motor (whining, needs replacement, otherwise activated by a fuse that is currently not in, it is included).Windshield wiper (included).Turn signal lever chassis (holds Turn signal lever, available at CarQuest).A/C (needs recharge).Glove box lock (needs to be remounted, lock included).Passenger door paneling (needs new anchors).Passenger window raising/lowering handle (needs remounted with pin, pin included).Grill (can probably find online or junkyard). Something to look into:Electrical work done as part of replacement car stereo. Appears to not be a draw on current electrical system. Black wiring tape might need to be re-done. (See photograph). Operation notes: It's an older vehicle so may need carburetor prime to start but after prime it starts on it's own every time. Squealing can be heard on start up at times and when turning on heater but it doesn't happen every time. Turn lever chassis is broken off and will need replacement. Turn signal assembly itself still works properly. Engine works really well. Small block 350 GM motor with less than 150,000 miles on it. Sounds quiet and smooth, accelerates and shifts gears nicely, minus intermittent squealing caused by old belts. Interior is in relatively good condition, minus minor to moderate stains on floor and seats. No smells. roof linen is separating, will need glue or tacks. Glove box will need lock remounted, which is included, I don't know how to do it and I don't want to break it. Original owner's manuals and documentation included. Exterior paint looks good, with minor rust spots here and there, no major body cancer. No dents or scuffs.
