A very very clean well maintained survivor. I am the second owner since new. I am an auto enthusiast and I just had to buy this car when I saw the condition that it was in. I have owned it and used it for the tune of 20,000 miles in 10 years. I have always kept it clean, dry , garaged and well maintained. just as the original owner did. I will most likely regret selling it but I need room in my garage for other projects. the car is near mint. rust free, everything works, cold A/C, even the rotary clock works. the blemishes that I need to mention are two pieces of plastic trim below the vinyl top are cracked and short lived. I have been unable to locate new ones. the other is at some point a flaming idiot was smoking a cigarette in the passenger seat and put marks in the velour above the arm rest (not terribly noticeable ). worse yet when he threw his cigarette out the window it landed on the beautiful back seat and burned a hole in it.(see pictures). This can be repaired by replacing one pleat in the rear seat. I put rally wheels on the car a few years ago , I think it looks great. but I have the original wheels, spoke hubcaps, and locks. they will go with the car if the new owner wants them. I just put new exhaust on the car . about six years ago I replaced the water pump, radiator and the heater core. This car runs, drives, sounds and handles as good as it looks. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. If anyone has specific questions , don't hesitate to call 845-590-1076. As can be seen in the questions to seller box, I was asked to elaborate on the accident that shows up in the vehicle history report, I had some kind of issue posting only half my answer to him. I am not really able to elaborate much because I did not own the car then, and it came to me as a surprise seeing it on the listing. Only thing I can say is that I am a very contentious car guy and have never noticedanything indicating any serious damage of any kind. I think it is safe to say it was in some kind of minor accident requiring minor repair, as indicated in the report it says no major damage reported, or something to that affect.I'm certain any educated car guy/or Gal who looked the car over would agree. Sorry for the half response to the person asking the question. Not sure what happened there.

I bought this car a year ago and have thoroughly enjoyed owning and driving it but alas living in New York City, it's simply impractical for me to hold on to it and leaving it up you to give it a new home. It's really fantastic on the open road and a pleasure to drive. The 5.7 Liter 350 starts up with no problem and drives fantastic. To the best of my knowledge I'm the 3rd owner and the 18,500 mile are original. It has always been garaged kept. It was repainted by the previous owner a few years back but the all white interior with black carpet is original. A new top was installed one year ago and a full tune up was done back in April. The battery is less than a year old. The original owner decided to add fender-skirts and the continental kit giving it a unique look that really makes it stand out in a crowd. I had a 3 inch lift kit and shock extenders installed to the rear of the car to compensate for the additional weight added by the rear continental kit. I added some modern touches by installing a remote door lock opener and passive alarm system as well as a back up camera with a monitor that piggy-backs on to the original rear view mirror. The car attracts attention like no other car I've owned and gets thumbs up, oohs and ahs like nothing else. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. I can be reached at 917-502-0572.

Up for sale is our Super cool 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Convertible. She has the desirable big block 455 Rocket engine with automatic transmission and dual exhaust. Equipt with factory Air conditioning, power seat, power windows, cruise control factory 8 track stereo(Grover Washington Jr. tape included) This is a well optioned vehicle .. Sitting on 22 inch wheels that are in excellent shape with no blemish.. tires are excellent too.. Wheels and tires cost over 4k new.... Interior is in above average condition.. in my opinion a 9/10.. Dash board is mint.. not a crack.. New top and top motor.. works flawlessly and does not leak. Solid frame with no rot. solid floors and solid trunk. For sale is my 1978 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale , one owner car with only 64,850 original miles and rust free ,also it was undercoated from new and inside the doors and crevices as it was done in those old days .. Car is originally from Kansas and it was garaged all its life , never driven in winter . This beauty has the factory 5.7L diesel V8 engine , Auto transmission , power brakes, power steering , power windows , power seats , power trunk , Air conditioning , cruise control .I have two sets of hub caps , the factory original set (4 ) and the wire wheel set (4) . The pics show two on each side for demonstration only , you put the 4 you most like on the car .. I changed the oil , filter and air filter last week as well as the valve cover breather rubber grommets on both sides , fuel tank is filled up with fresh diesel . All the glass is excellent , paint is shinny and chrome is like new , good tires and 2 new batteries . As any 35 year old vehicle expects some scratches , etc , but the car is a piece of conversation anywhere I park it . Car is actually insured as a collectible with State Farm . Ask any questions before you bid and bid if you are serious about buying it , don't waste my time and listing fees , this is not a game . A $125 fee will be added to the final price .
