Extremely nice example of a 1966 MG Midget MKII. All original except for the aftermarket radio and speakers (which can easily be removed). This car sports new wire knock off wheels on excellent 13 inch tires. Front disc brakes with single exhaust. Detailed engine compartment. This MKII edition has the correct removable soft top (convertible) along with the factory hard top and tonneau cover. All in superior shape. It sports the original 1096CC four cylinder engine with two side draft carburetors, 4 speed transmission and rear axle. Factory tach and gauges. Includes original jack and lead hammer for the knock-off wheels along with the spare mounted on a wire wheel rim. The red paint is in excellent condition with only some very minor chips and a small dent on the right rear 1/4 panel. All covers are superior. The interior is also excellent with some very minor defects. The car runs and drive great. Stops on a dime. Recent tune-up. Does run a little rough when cold but picks up on performance when up to temp. Otherwise mechanically sound. No rust holes or damage anywhere other then what is mentioned. Under side of car, floors and trunk are great. Titled in Pennsylvania as an antique. Real head turner. Very road worthy. Drive it home. See Questions please ask before bidding. 1979 MG Midget with 62,073 original miles. Car was off the road in indoor dry storage for the last 14 years. Has 1500 engine with Weber carb conversion. Car starts & runs fine but will need to be gone thru since being off the road for so long. Directionals and brake lights don't seem to be working. Floors are solid with some rust at bottom of doors and bottom corner of the fender as shown in photos. Interior is in good condition with one crack in the drivers seat bottom. New battery. 1975 MG Midget Convertible. Runs and drives good - it`s ready for some fun, top down, summer cruising! Equipped with the original 4 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual transmission. This car does not have an air conditioner or power steering. It`s easy to steer and who needs an A/C when you`re enjoying the sunshine with the top down? The body is straight and solid. There is one area of minor rust, underhood where the windshield washer bottle mounts. It`s not a big area and I posted a photo with a credit card sized item to show scale size. The car has had one repaint many years ago. It still looks good and shines nicely. There are a few minor blemishes which I posted photos of. The worst area being the left, rear quarter which has some body filler cracking. There is a chipped area on left, front fender, on passenger door - near mirror and a hazy area on the hood. The interior looks to be original. It is not ripped or torn. The carpet is showing wear. The convertible top operates fine (it is a manual top, not power) and is very easy to put up and down. It is not in great shape and will eventually need to be replaced. The battery is brand new. The tires are in great shape. Overall - just a fun, simple car that will give you a smile while driving it. The odometer shows 46,832 at the time this was written. I am not sure but I believe it is the actual miles and the odometer has not rolled over - but I cannot guarantee this. Everything on this car works properly except for the fuel gauge and radio. The fuel gauge reads empty at all times. The radio does not come on. I assume it`s just a fuse but I have not checked it. I invite all potential buyers to come and view the car in person and take it for a test drive. I am located in Pottsboro, Texas (1 hour north of Dallas). For sale is a 1976 MG Midget. Car has 67,000 miles - runs and drives well. No smoke from engine. Starts easy - idles well. Car has the original color yellow paint, but it is not in perfect shape. Paint shines, but has various chips and other imperfections- especially around the edges of the doors. Trunk lid is slightly bent but closes and latches well. Tires match and have good tread left on them. Has brand new spare tire, new chrome trim rings, new dash cap, new shift knob, new fender mirrors and new window crank handles. Car starts first time every time. New brake master cylinder installed. Rubber bumpers are in excellent condition, with no visible marks, cuts or other condition issues. Convertible top closes well, but has small 2 inch tear in rear window on driver's side. A few dents and dings but nothing major. Car is solid and with a little TLC would be a great looker. Driver's seat has rip down the center of the vinyl, so I have put covers over the seats -will need repair. All lights work, including instrument lights. Fuel gauge not operational. Needs brake pads and shoes installed. Cannot be driven away from this location. Beautiful 1976 MG Midget With 25468 Original Miles. car is very solid. It Runs and i believe everything works on it besides a headlight is blown. Very little rust on front driver side front fender. trunk and floors are solid with original spare and jack. The car has original convertible top but the top needs replaced. it needs a driver side mirror, have original but son broke it,also car has new tires less than 100 miles on them,seems to need brakes soon or readjusted one. The car was in a museum for almost 20 years after original owner from chicago sold it. where it was in parades and sat inside of museum. The car has a few minor dents and scratches yet still all original and one of the finest originals i have seen.
