Up for sale is my 1965 MG Midget. This vehicle runs, drives, and operates very well. This has been my daily driver for a good while and has never failed me. This MG has the sought after 1275CC engine in it. The only two things this Midget needs is are both purely cosmetic. The Hood is rusted at the front and needs to be replaced. The left side of the vehicle has a hole where it has rusted through at the A Post. The lower driver's side door hinge has rusted through as well. All of this can be replaced for about $45 form Rimmer Bros. The interior is complete and has no deficiencies. There is an iPod ready CD player was installed with two 6X9 speakers mounted behind the windscreen between the trunk and rear of the vehicle. The convertible top of the vehicle is in poor shape, but it does keep you/ the interior dry. Heater, windshield wipers, and all other components work well. This is a very fun vehicle to drive, I am only selling because I have just had another child and can't keep it.

This is a great little cruising car easy on gas and a 4 speed Trans makes a blast to drive even If ur not a MG lover this is one of the most solid older cars I've seen.it has no body filler in it

1970 MG Midget This little car is a fixer upper. Needs some body work and paint job. Was running when I parked it, engine not froze up will crank. Needs to have gas drained before starting. Transmission and clutch worked without issue. I installed a brake master cylinder but needs to be bled. A few extra parts in trunk. We are moving in spring and it has to go.. This would be a great winter project.

The car is available to be inspected and driven anytime. A well kept 1974 MGB Midget powered by an 1.8L 4cyl engine with an manual shift transmission. This is my daily commuter. Great fun to drive.You are everyone's best friend on the road. Fits in any parking spot!. The car starts right up with no issues or smoke. The car shifts up / down through all gears with no bidding or grinding of the gears (remember to double clutch, like a sports car!). At this time I know of nothing the car needs other that to be driven and enjoyed. Electrical: Needs some work. Redio does not work, turn signals have been acting up. Gauges: All gauges are original "Smith" brand but gas and guge does not work. Interior: Nice presentable driver quality as shown in the photos. This is a restored 1969 MG Midget. The engine is original (block number matches VIN number) and has been rebuilt. The transmission. clutch assembly and rear end have been rebuilt. The car has been driven less than 200 miles since the rebuild. The exterior paint is new and the spoke wheels have been powder coated. The interior upholstery and the top are new and professionally installed. The speedometer and cable has been rebuilt. The original radio has been replaced with a Sony AM/FM/CD radio. The car is rust free and has been stored indoors. Includes documentation. The known defects include a turn signal that works but inconsistently when making right hand turns. The chrome has some pitting but mostly in good condition. The dash panel is the original stiff foam dash with a dent and a tear near the center of the windscreen. Included with the car are the tools (sockets and wrenches) and the tool chest used to restore the car. The original AM radio ( that works) is also included.

Interior is fair, comes with tan or black seats shown, I would replace carpets in front of seats and install cheap dash cap. Convertible top was installed by ?, If you want to pay for a new better fitting one let me know before bidding. Weak link is the body, round wheel wells are very desirable but the last owner repaired the body and did the paint... only did a fair restoration. Lost garage of last 20 years, last month. Solid underbody, don't want to leave outside!

THIS MG IS A REAL HEADTUNER, HAVE SPENT MONEY FOR THE MOST COSTLY PARTS. NEW PAINT ,NEW TOP, NEW RED INTERIOR,NEW BRAKES WITH MASTER CYLINDER AND ROTORS AND WHEEL CYLINDER'S,RUN'S AND SOUND'S GREAT. NEW WOOD GRAIN DASH WITH GAUGES,TIRES ARE FAIRLY NEW, I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM A LOCAL CAR CLUB MEMBER AFTER HE DECIDED TO GO ON TO A DIFFERENT PROJECT. THE CAR WAS PRIMED AND PAINTED AT A LOCAL PAINTER THAT DOES HIGH QUALITY WORK. THE TOP ALSO WAS INSTALLED AT AN INTERIOR SHOP THAT MOST OF THE LOCAL CARS IN OUR CLUB. there ARE A FEW THINGS THAT HAVE TO BE COMPLETED SUCH AS DOOR AND WINDOW HANDELS, SEATBELTS, DETAIL ENGINE, INSTALL FROUNT BUMPER IF CHOOSE TO DO SO. MG Midget 1974. 1275cc and 4 speed transmission.Cat starts and runs great, smooth running, great oil pressure. No weird sounds or noises. Transmission shifts fine in all gears. Brakes seem fine and stops car well. Tires have decent tread.Interior is in excellent shape for 40 years old- no major rips or tears.Body work is fair to good. There are signs of rust in A post and sills. Floors and all major parts are rust free and in excellent condition. Paint has been touched up in a few spots and is starting to fade- again 40 year old paint.... Trunk floor is good and has spare tire and factory jacket/ tool kit.Soft top is torn at stitching.Electrically it's not bad. Turn signals are not working presently- fuse lasts about 1000 miles then blows. Is missing a switch or two. But a complete whole dash comes as a spare. Windshield also has bulls-eye, but a good used glass and frame comes with car.Rear shocks have dampness on them and will need repair - have a set of cores to send away .Many more parts comes with car including early bumpers.Car comes with a lot of paper work from perverse owner showing $6k in maintenance from about 1999 to about 2010.This car is not perfect, but is a great opportunity to buy a classic which is very usable and can be driven while carry out work.Inspections are welcomed.
