1991 Mercedes Benz 300SL Convertible with factory Hardtop Only 42,000 original miles. This is a very well kept example of an early generation R129 SL. Clean car with a great history. No accidents. In 1991 Mercedes quality was near its peak and the 300sl was well ahead of its time. This car has fully automatic convertible top, 5-speed automatic, automatic climate control, automatic roll bar, etc. Extensive maintenance has been performed on this car over the past 2 years to insure she is reliable and ready for the road. Some of the major items include all rebuilt hydraulic cylinders for the retractable top. New tires, battery, fuel pumps, full tune up, 134a conversion along with several other minor updates. The hardtop has a brand new headliner. The mesh windscreen for use with the top down is included but not pictured. She is smooth, quiet, and comfortable - just like an SL should be.
